  This comes in our helpdesk today, and I have absolutely no idea on how to solve this problem.

  I choose the number of copies that must be printed in a table in DB.
  Make a list of parameter (for destype, desname, copies, etc.) and call the report. (RUN_PRODUCT)
  It is if I take the name of the printer to DB something like \\machine_name\printer_name and assign it to desname, it works very well.
  However, instead of picking it from the DB, I want to know if I can get the default name of the printer directly from the machine where the report is running.

  During installation, the message come - 'Failed to set the default printer' and can not put default printer via the contral Panel.  Printer is there and can test printing and can print from the Internet.  Outlook does not recognize that a printer is installed.  Have re-installed the driver several times with the same result.

  I bought my new HP Officejet 6700 Premium on February 1, 2013. I use a HP Pavilion dm4 laptop under Windows 7 Home Premium. The installation seems to give no problem. However I'm unable to set the default printer and have the error message 0 x 00000709. Excel, Adobe, Outlook does not allow me to print.

  I spoke to the HP printer Department February 1st and they sent me some software of diagnosis which I sent back. I called again on 6 February and was told my problem was always open and they were trying to reproduce the problem (it appears on the net without a patch work). It is now February 10, and I hope the good people of HP to recall with a solution soon. You try to run a small business with no printer is not ideal.

  I have Windows 7. I want to set the printer, so it displays default landscape of Notepad. I've tried three different printers and nothing. I go to the windows printer properties and set them in landscape mode.  There are two places to change, a Preferences tab and a default Advanced tab and I did both. When I print from Notepad they always print portrait. In Notepad, I can make them print landscape, but I have to change it every time. So, I want the default to be the landscape. • Cannot select non - Default Business Group the vCAC 6.01 as a cloud provider registration

  Since I'm on a vCAC single tenant deployment, I registered vCAC of the CLI darwin to the lessee 'vSphere.local '.  When you add the vCAC as a cloud provider instance, the vCAC hostname is filled by the record, but the process seems to a group of companies named "Default".  To complete the registration, I created 'Default' Business Group.  However, all rights, reservations, plans, etc. are attributed to different business groups.  The area Business Group is not active, so its not obvious how select a group of different companies.

  could someone please help me - I have a new laptop and it has windows 8.1 - I tried in vein to get the printer not working - I have downloaded the driver but when I hover over the printer icon, it says driver not available.
