  MMS (what is "picture messaging") depends on your device having a good plan your provider BIS. BIS requires the reception on your device, Service books your provider. The ability to offer books to your device depends on your device is compatible with your network of carriers.

  So, with all this, I recommend that you re - contact TMO for you sure you meet all of these criteria... only they can tell you if your specific device model is even compatible with their network of data and more if they have configured a package of sufficient data to enable the MMS for you.

  Are you referring to a SMS?  Unable to send or receive SMS messages between a real Smartphone BlackBerry and the BlackBerry smartphone Simulator.  The Simulator doesn't have any connection to a cellular network.

  SMS is a function of carrier, contact them and let them know that their service does not work on your phone.

  Yes, you can send and receive text messages SMS without Internet until your phone service provider allows you to send and receive.

  To force a message to send as SMS instead iMessage, you will need to disconnect from the Wi - Fi, then go in Settings -> Cellular and get off Cellular Data and make sure that Settings -> Messages -> Send as SMS is enabled on.

  Essentially if the phone has an Internet connection, it will fall back to using SMS to send all messages, once more, as long as you SMS service with your telephone operator.

  Note that MMS messages do necessary "Cellular data" turned on, so in the State above, you will not be able to send audio, pictures or video.
