Cannot start Lightroom CC 2015
Hello world. I use Adobe Photoshop Lightroom CC 2015 on Windows 10. The first time after installation, the program worked correctly, but after that I have not used for some time, it cannot be started.
According to my research, there are suggestions in saying that I need to disconnect from the Adobe Creative Cloud app and reconnect to the rear, but it does not work for me. I also tried to reinstall the app but it does not truncated.
Regarding the suggestion of Adobe, error: 'error unexpected opening catalogue' occurs in Lightroom after upgrade Windows 10.
- I found that Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable 2012 had already installed on my computer.
- I tried to run the program as administrator, but you have the same problem.
- I also checked my permission to catalogue, but it seems to be okay. I tried to delete the catalog folder and start Lightroom, the new folder to create catalog, but the application has not begun.
Does anyone have ideas for my problem?
This is to update on my problem. I contacted the Adobe Support via chat and they managed to solve my problem. Now I can start Lightroom properly.
The solution is to uninstall .net versions and reinstall them. I have several versions of .net installed on my machine (2008 - current version, 32 and 64 bits). Adobe staff helped me to uninstall and reinstall .net remotely. After that, Lightroom can perfectly start.

Version again, but it does not start.
Have you tried logging in your CC desktop app, then logging put it back? Stop/restart won't work, but logging out and back in must. See here: you connect, disconnect | Creative desktop application Cloud

Cannot launch Lightroom 6 (cc), tried to connect and new that has not worked a Adobe support they wouldn't help and me returned to the forums so make me nowhere. As I am on 30-day trial at the moment I'm not impressed

I'm sorry for the frustrating experience get 6 Lightroom to properly launch the creative cloud.
Have you tried the troubleshooting steps for the CS6 showing as a trial software when installed through creative cloud? A document to help on the topic can be found here: Adobe Creative Suite 6 applications unexpectedly back in test mode? You may also want to consider the suggestions for similar behavior in the creative cloud itself: applications of Adobe Creative Cloud reverts after 2015 updated CC test.

Cannot start Lightroom 3.6
When I try to launch Lightroom 3.6 I get a message saying "Lightroom catalog named"Lightroom 3 catalog"cannot open another application already has its opening." I have the ability to 'change the catalogue', but I get the same message for that one also. I have no other applications running and restarting my PC several times but I can't yet start Lightroom. Any ideas? I put today side to do a bunch of work in Lightroom and CS5 - Sod right but says it's the day I get this problem
Navigate to the folder that contains your catalog and find the .lock file. If we're here, get rid of it. Then, double-click the catalog file. With closed Lightroom, you must get rid of all the lock files that you find. Hope this fixes the problem.

I can't start Lightroom 6. It worked correctly bu now get the following notification: could not find procedure _crtCreateSymbolicLinkW accespoint in the DDL C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\MSVCP110.ddl file. I really have no idea what that means and how to fix this?

Hi all
As stated above, I am unable to start Lightroom 6 (standalone) after installation. I am able to launch, but I'm stuck on the boot screen (lightroom logo 6) with bezel does not no error. Would be grateful for any help, thank you very much!
Just a suite, I use Windows 7 (x 64). I talk with the cat from adobe and I was told to create a new Administrator windows account and reinstall LR by using this new account.
It worked for me, I am able to successfully access LR 6 using the newly created administrator account. I tried to follow up with another request - I have what patches can implement to my current user account so that I can access LR 6 using that account (and not the new windows user account). Unfortunately, I was told that cat Adobe does not support LR 6 and I am directed to ask my questions here.

Cannot start lightroom trial on win 8.1 cc
I have windows 8.1 x 64 with work LR 5.7
I tried to install creative cloud and LR CC
If I start LR CC and click on continue the trial, LR closes for most immediately without any information or sometimes crashes.
If I try to logout and CC connection, it does not help or CC freezes
I deleted the contents of the folders (I had to kill some adobe process)

\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE c:\ProgramData\Adobe\SLStore
and the works of cc in lightroom

I plan to photographers CC and had installed Photoshop CC (2014) and Lightroom 5. Today I received updates for both Ps and Lr PS. updated without problem, but Lr has installed as a new Lightroom CC application and now there is no way to start it. In CC app, I see two Lr (screenshot by Lightshot) applications. Lr5 starts without a problem, but Lr CC does not work. Tried to run the .exe directly, but nothing happens. PC rebooted, but the same result. Running on Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit.
Any help is welcome
I know this sounds strange - but I promise you that this is the solution:
CC applications close immediately after the launch
Logout and log back by following the steps described in the above article from Adobe. Confirmed the problem on Mac and Windows

Cannot start Lightroom after successful download/installation.
After I downloaded and installed Photoshop it appeared a button that read something like "Lauch App" next to the Photoshop icon in the Download Manager. It worked smoothly, and Photoshop is running. Tried to do the same thing with Lightroom however after download/install successful there is no button "launch the application '. There is just the text reads "up to date" unless it cannot be clicked and therefore does not launch the app. How to launch Lightroom?
Neglecting this, after the launch of the application with normal means I realized that it was a stupid question.

Manually download the LR and install them manually.

To learn more, you should put the OS and version and all the information you have at your hand on the LR, like the etc error messages.

Cannot start bridge CC 2015.3 - cannot install older versions either
Add me to the list of os x users who open not release yesterday of the bridge without crashing, there's NO WAY to reinstall a previous version of work through enforcement of the CC. I am able to find a standalone installer for the CC2014 bridge (which worked) on the Adobe web page downloads.
In addition, the bug report form takes me in and endless loop with no possibility to report this problem.

We addressed some crash bridge issues experienced on the launch of the application. Please try the new version and are looking for the crash problems you encountered.
If you are not able to locate the bridge (CC 2015) on the creative cloud application, you must update the creative cloud application.

Suddenly cannot start Indesign CC (2015)

I have a very annoying problem that suddenly happened today (there were no changes or updates until this happened). Suddenly, after the closure of InDesign I couldn't open it more and I would get every time the error message following: "Adobe InDesign cc 2015 has stopped working a problem caused the blocking of the program works correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available. Nothing special, I closed my account and all of a sudden, it opens again. The problem was with InDesign, Photoshop still opens.
