  Just a suite, I use Windows 7 (x 64). I talk with the cat from adobe and I was told to create a new Administrator windows account and reinstall LR by using this new account.

  It worked for me, I am able to successfully access LR 6 using the newly created administrator account. I tried to follow up with another request - I have what patches can implement to my current user account so that I can access LR 6 using that account (and not the new windows user account). Unfortunately, I was told that cat Adobe does not support LR 6 and I am directed to ask my questions here.

  This is to update on my problem. I contacted the Adobe Support via chat and they managed to solve my problem. Now I can start Lightroom properly.

  The solution is to uninstall .net versions and reinstall them. I have several versions of .net installed on my machine (2008 - current version, 32 and 64 bits). Adobe staff helped me to uninstall and reinstall .net remotely. After that, Lightroom can perfectly start.

  I'm sorry for the frustrating experience get 6 Lightroom to properly launch the creative cloud.

  Have you tried the troubleshooting steps for the CS6 showing as a trial software when installed through creative cloud?   When I try to launch Lightroom 3.6 I get a message saying "Lightroom catalog named"Lightroom 3 catalog"cannot open another application already has its opening." I have the ability to 'change the catalogue', but I get the same message for that one also. I have no other applications running and restarting my PC several times but I can't yet start Lightroom. Any ideas? I put today side to do a bunch of work in Lightroom and CS5 - Sod right but says it's the day I get this problem

  Navigate to the folder that contains your catalog and find the .lock file.  If we're here, get rid of it.  Then, double-click the catalog file.  With closed Lightroom, you must get rid of all the lock files that you find.  Hope this fixes the problem.

• Cannot start Windows after trying to install the Vista SP2

  I just tried to install Vista SP2 and now whenever I try to turn on the cpu it gives me a blue screen and restarts. It does allow me to start in SafeMode either. In addition, it seems to be impossible to find my restore points. I was able to stop the screen using the F8 menu and it gives me this error on the blue screen
