  I just bought the new Photoshop Elements (14) and updated after installation.

  Seems that it uses Camera raw 9.5 and I need 9.7 support for my camera.

  I downloaded AdobeCameraRaw-9, 7-CC-mul_AdobeUpdate, once looking at the download page to be used, as for PS Elements.

  When I open it has an AdobePatchInstaller.app, performing this ends in error saying (translated by me from Danish):

  Update can be done

  The update could not be used

  This fix is not for you.

  Look for updates in the product Help menu, where you will find a list of the latest updates available.

  If the problem persists, contact customer support.

  I ran the update on the Help menu, and as stated, I went to update camera raw 9.5 not supporting my camera.

  If you just buy PSE14, you can receive a free upgrade by releasing v15.

• Cannot update CS5 Camera Raw, and. Al.

  I get the error below when I try to update. The link the Customer Service sends me into a nightmare do-circular loop structure that only had landed me on this list as my last resort. I tried workaround installing the Camera Raw format file, but my directory structure is not as described on the Web site and it does not open my files from Canon. I uninstalled and reinstalled and still the same error. I use a fraction of the capacity of the PS and am pretty angry right now. "Customer service" Adobe means that I have not my software, but the website shows that I've owned CS4, CS5 and leaves me not to enter the serial number of version 7.0, that everything I bought from Adobe. My next effort will be to completely uninstall the Photoshop and waive goodbye to Adobe the finger and your creative cloud costs for losing far too many hours of my time just so I can Dodge and crop a photo of the damned.   I can't open the Canon's Raw files, so I tried to update Camera Raw in Photoshop CS5.

  On the screen, I see the update process, but ultimately, I get a message saying:

  I tried several times without success.

• Cannot open the camera raw 6.0 Bridge CS5

  I just installed photoshop CS5 and I'm unable to view and open my NEF files in Camera Raw in Bridge CS5.  It worked perfectly fine with CS4 Bridge and Camera Raw 5.1.0.30.  Anyone have any suggestions other than using my old Bridge CS4. I have mas OS X 10.6.3 installed on my computer.

  You must confirm that the Camera Raw plugin has been properly installed so that the two bridge _and_ Photoshop can access. For Mac only right place is to be installed is: the level of the root (not the user library) library.   If plug in Camera Raw isn't here or one of these folders are not there then Camera Raw is not correctly installed...   CS5 is several versions back and does not the recent Camera Raw updates in native mode, you can, however, use the converter DNG (Digital Negative) to convert your images to DNG and CS5 format should be able to open those. • How can I disable all auto settings in Camera Raw?

  SUMMARY:

  I am trying to open my images in Camera Raw (version 8.6.0.254) via Bridge CC exactly how they were taken behind closed doors, with no auto setting whatsoever.  I already have boxes that automatically disabled in the Camera Raw preferences under default Image Settings dialog.  I'm shooting raw on a Sony A7r.

  MORE INFORMATION:

  This discussion is not be created without prior research on how to solve it.  If all goes well, there is a simple solution that I have neglected and missed when looking for her.

  I shoot my raw flat images on purpose.  Saturation in camera is rejected, as well as many other parameters of profile picture in the camera.

  I use Bridge CC to sort my pictures well and chooses to make.  In Bridge, I "prefer embedded" selected for my nail of the thumb in order to stop the automatic processing that can happen to the thumbnails here.

  The problem is, as soon as I open my raw images in Camera Raw in bridge, the settings auto kick and saturation and exposure are automatically adjusted.  I can't figure out how to stop Camera Raw adjustments to my raw images.  As noted above, all auto checkboxes are not checked in the Camera Raw preferences.

  When you press the shortcut "Command U" after opening an image, she applies to the auto settings, clearly indicating the Camera Raw thinks that nothing has been yet implemented.  Switch between 'Camera Raw default' and 'Image Settings' in the menu in the menu drop-down does nothing no more.

  Here are two screenshots.  How the thumbnail looks like the bridge, desaturated and flat.  The other is how the image is opened in Camera Raw with no user adjustment what so ever.  You can see how the saturation and exposure have been adjusted:

  Technically speaking, there are not supposedly automatic adjustments for raw images. Open a raw image in Camera Raw default is applied to this image. Initially, these default settings are defined by Adobe based on their correspondence the parameters against a few test images (I guess). These default settings will be applied automatically because they are the parameters 'default '. If you want your images opened differently, take time to load one of your images and then adjust all the settings the way you want, to be initially. Then save the new default values of the camera to the camera. From this point, all newly opened images will have these settings applied. And you can apply these settings to any image that is already open by clicking on the reset button.  Note that you can have custom default for each camera, and you can even have different settings for different ISO settings. So if Camera Raw is a job you like, just take the time to customize your workflow.

  The DSC-RX100 was first supported in camera Raw 7.2 which is only compatible with CS6 and Cloud versions.

  You will never be able to open the RX100 in CS5 Raw files, even when you install Camera Raw 6.7 update successfully.

  You have two options:

  1. Join the cloud, or
  2. Download the free Adobe DNG converter, convert batch all RX100 Raw files to DNG format, and then change the DNG files in CS5. An extra step for you, but no extra costs.

• Cannot find my camera to the raw file. Photoshop cs5 worm 12. I've updated to windows 10 and it suddenly appeared. I have another computer with the same version and no problem.

  I just upgraded from a Canon 1000 d with a Canon 6 d, during shooting in raw and try to open it with photoshop, it says the camera raw is not compatible and it uses a different format, even if both devices have the CR2 file, I never had problems with my 1000 d. I have photoshop CS5 and have tried to update, but it still does not work. Someone knows how to fix this? I'm a photography student and my deadline is in 2 weeks, so I really need to get to this sorting asap! Advice or tips would be greatly appreciated.

  It uses a different format, even if both devices have the CR2 file

  CR2 is not a fixed file format. It varies with each camera model that make cannon. It is the same for all the camera manufacturers.

  New camera, new file Raw, same Raw file extension format model (CR2 = Canon, NAVE = Nikon, etc.).
