  Hello, I just got a new LaserJet CP1025 and I was wondering how to set up a password for the people in my building don't can not use my printer. The printer is visible to all, and I don't know how to hide or block.   You must turn off wireless directly into the printer and it's own SSID won't be visible. Then just use your routers SSID and password for connect and be sure.

  I was able to use e-print to print on my Officejet 4630 using my Kindle Fire HD tablet.  However, I succumbed the same Kindle Fire HD print on my HP Officejet 1512 using the same e-print application...  Keep in mind that the 1512 connects to my network wireless using a USB cable.  Please offer a solution or workaround so I can print from my fire on the 1512.  Thank you.

  I guess that you are referring to the model HP Deskjet 1512?

  The HP ePrint app support network connected devices only, the 1512 Deskjet is not supported as a single USB printer.

  I know this will sound silly. but I'm an ODP buy my first computer (for the wife at Christmas) and I don't have any idea what I'm doing. We bought a Toshiba Satellite C660 - 28 tons Saturday

  Try this first.
  Turn on the laptop and then press and hold F8. A screen should open with different options, using the arrow cursor / keys select "safe mode with networking".   I just bought a Toshiba Satellite C660-195 with Windows 7 pre-installed.

  This morning I turned on it and it came with a black box with x:windows\system32\drvload.exe in it. This box then disappeared and Startup Repair kicked. He then told me that Startup Repair cannot repair this computer automatically. The notice were to remove any device that had recently been attached to the laptop (such as a webcam or music device) but I did not install a hardware or devices. I clicked finish and stop you the laptop.

  Sorry to hear you I have this problem. The fact is that the new laptops come with only HARD drive recovery image and not with recovery DVDs. What you can try now is to install the recovery image using HARD drive recovery facility.

• Webcam is blurry on the brand-new Satellite C660

  I just bought my Satellite C660 Saturday and have just opened the webcam for the first time.
  It is REALLY blurry. I can't seem to find an option in the settings to fix, and I gave him a towel to check that it was not just dirty.

  I read the posts about the different lights that can affect the quality of the image, but I just tested it out in the different lights and it did make a difference.

  the FN keys require value added Package and Flash Cards Support utility. These two tools can be downloaded from the official website of Toshiba:http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com/ > support & downloads > download DriversInstall value-added package in first, then the Flash Cards Support utility.
  After the installation of these two tools the FN keys will work as usual.

• Cannot use the printer after installation of the new computer

  I just installed a new computer with windows 7.  I have a HP photosmart 7960 printer.  Hung, but it will not recognize on the computer.  Said that the drivers are not installed.  HP Web site says that the drivers are installed with windows 7 and that I don't no need to install them manually.  I have 7 ultimate.  Does make a difference?  If not, then how do recognize the printer from the computer?  I installed the Device Manager, but it would not install the drivers, after I went through the wizard.  It asked me to register and pay $30.  I can't download the drivers without payin for them?  Thank you.

  All I had to do was restart my computer.  Works now.  Some jacka$ $ on Device Manager site wanted to charge me $39 and take control away from my computer.  He said it would take 2 hours to fix.  He also said that the printer was not compatible with windows 7.  Well, I printed of him this morning.
