• NOR-8452 Stream Mode more than 64 bit?

  I I hava an ADC SPINNAKER which I want to read using the streams API for high (using the NOR-8452) conversion rate but want to read back all 7 channels ADC in a multiple of SPI read command. The maximum number of bits the stream API seems to bear is 64-bit, where I need to really read about 232 (7 x 32 + 8 for the read command). Is there a way to get around this?

  I use the stream mode to detect a DRDY event, but once a single channel is read the output on the ADC chip is reset (so subsequent interruptions come from only on new data).

  The payload you're trying to broadcast is not a standard for the SPI. We try to follow standards SPI and give you up to 64 bits to broadcast both. If you cannot split your readings at separate readings 64 bit, you will not be able to perform this operation with the 8452. If you had another interface, such as FPGAS, you my power to implement a protocol custom SPI on the FPGA. With 8452, however, you don't have these options.

  I use a USB of NOR-8452 controller in SPI mode, controlled by a C program compiled in 2013 of LabWindows/CVI. In order to talk to the chip, we designed, I need to control the delay between the final of SPC deassertion and the CS deassertion (T11 synchronization setting) to keep it very small. Therefore, I use streaming mode.

  I read the NOR-845 x Hardware and software manual and looked at the two projects that use the SPI in streaming mode in NOR-845 x examples dir. The examples use two REITS it to talk about the A/D converters. In other words, variable data in time comes from the SPI (ADC) slave to SPI master (Controller NI 8452) via the SPI_MISO line.

  Is it possible to use the USB-8452 to generate variable data in time that goes the other way, from the master to the slave SPI via SPI_MOSI SPI line? Can I make a burst of arbitrary length entry using the streaming mode?

  For example, let's say I have 8 bytes of data to be transmitted:

  Is it possible to generate the first (non-recurring) model? Or streaming mode really is only able to capture input data?

  I looked through the documentation for the NOR-845 x and it confirms that the workflow capability displays the same MOSI data for each operation of SPI during streaming.

  You can use the ni845xSpiWriteRead function to write a byte array in the order using 1 function call.  These bytes can be configured to your waveform specified.

  I don't know anything about "reset admin account" but here are two things that may help the case to start in safe mode.  First, enter the mode safe mode with f8 key is a matter of time.  On my computer (Dell) during the boot process, I'm going to get a screen send me options of start of f2 and f12, which is to enter the BIOS.  I can start hitting key f8 then but you will in safe mode unless I'm hit immediately after that the screen with f2 & f12 choices goes.  I just hit several times for a few moments at this time.

  I found myself with the same issue - although, for me, everything was working and then stopped at random...

  Since there is no useable answer to your question here, I begin troubleshooting me...

  What I found was a simple enough solution which seemed to reset the internet connection in desktop mode:

  1. to reveal desktop mode from the menu of charms (roll mouse over the right side of the screen)

  2. Select the charm of "settings".

  3. Select 'Network' in the parameter options

  4. right click on the network, you're connected to, and then select "turn sharing enabled or disabled.

  5 turn on network sharing

  This should reset your internet settings and retrieve your desktop mode in the loop...

  Yes, you can have effects from scrolling on a site which is partially adapted to the needs, as each page is independent of the others. Muse only disables the effects when you add a breakpoint to a page.

  The PC will not start in Safe Mode; When you use F8, the only option available in the Boot menu is 'select the first boot device. I have the hard drive and click on "enter", but the PC then starts as usual. Can I run Safe Mode otherwise?

  There are malicious software that recognizes the/SafeBoot switch in the boot.ini file, and if both are present (the/SafeBoot and malware), the system starts up again in any mode until you remove the file boot.ini with the switch/SafeBoot.   Maybe this isn't the case here.

  Some malware knows you try to use the Safe Mode to find and eliminate and he won't you find and eliminate and will detect the/SafeBoot switch.    It will keep you from boot mode safe to fool you into thinking that you are using a Point of restoration., do a repair installation, or install your XP from scratch (neither of which is never necessary).

  Someone in the thread said that Lotus Suite works on Home Premium.  I loaded it and it works with my spreadsheet Lotus 5.0.  Almost.  It can not load my charts or use the old menu.  It displays a warning whenever I have save a worksheet, telling me that it's a different format.  But I press ENTER and it saves the file in any case.   I already got Malewarebytes Anti Maleware and installed AVG, but this virus that bypassed and infected my computer. I tried the standard F8 during startup to go into safe mode and run my anti virus scanners, but apparently it does not work in windows 8. Some say SHIFT F8, that does not work either. Also any other method of setting up safe menu starting boot or mode does not work as it should connect on the desktop to go threw the settings and activate it for the next boot upward. This does not work for me since the virus I have apprently made my fall display driver, after I get my user password to start the desktop computer, so I don't see anything but the pointer of the mouse, everything is black. Y at - it another way to start in safe mode or trigger a recovery system or restore without actually being on the desktop?

  I already ordered a recovery disk as that seemed to be my only option. But the works of windows 8 way I will NEVER buy a computer with it again.   I can't really manage set a clock of 20 MHz SPI Stream mode.

  To set how often I use this property node (see image)
  [for example to set a 1 MHz clock, I put:]

  1. Wave1.TMNG.SclkLow = 50 (500ns)
  2. Wave1.TMNG.SclkHigh = 50 (500ns)]

  And everything works fine.

  When I try to put a clock of 20 MHz instead, I put:

  1. Wave1.TMNG.SclkLow = 2.5 (25ns)
  2. Wave1.TMNG.SclkHigh = 2.5 (25ns)

  But, unfortunately, I receive a 25 MHz clock.
  I know the USB 8452 can generate a 20 MHz signal, so I think I'm doing something wrong, but honestly, I don't know what to do.
  I see that the entry for Wave1.Tmng.SclkLow/High is a U32, then perhaps it truncates my 2.5 to 2 (i.e. a 25 MHz clock), but given that the USB8452 can generate a 20 MHz signal I honestly don't see the point of this.

  Hi Federico,.

  as you can see in the image below, the number that you set is the number of clock cycle of BASIC that make SPI clock.

  Base clock is 100 MHz, then the single 10ns resolution. You have to choose between 20 and 30ns or try to have 20ns high clock and 30ns low clock.
