Cannot write to 8.5 GB DVD
I updated my firmware after that I could burn with 4.5 GB DVD, but I still have the problem by writing 8.5 GB DVD
Hello
Check with your system manufacturer if the device is entered in your computer or the manufacturer of the device.
Try a cleaning disc and try other brands of discs as bad quality discs are very issues (if
you use cheap disks).
I hope this helps.

Running Windows XP Home Edition SP3 (build 2600) with LG HL-DT-ST DVD - RAM GSA-H55L [CD-ROM drive]. Updated all drivers and ran all the diagnostics; still only detect, read, or play CD or DVD. Installed and run program Microsoft ATS Fix It - has not fixed the problem. CARPET directed me to this site.
I had the system 4 years and have used the drive to read and burn many CD / DVD, so he's worked in the past. Thank you very much in advance for any help you can provide. I appreciate your time and your consideration. MS

A CH20L cannot replace a burner BD-ROM/DVD of CXH10L?
A CH20L cannot replace a burner BD-ROM/DVD of CXH10L?
When you request support, please provide the number of name and/or product of comprehensive model of the HP computer in question. HP/Compaq made thousands of computer models which are all different. Without this information, it can be difficult, even impossible to help you solve your problem.
It seems that the two CD/DVD/BD drives are the same size and use the same interface. It seems that the CH20L adds the ability to write to BD discs.
Please send BRAVO

Sony PMB 5.8.2 cannot write error
I always get the following error message when you try to create the disc, AVCHD and Blu - Ray using PMB v 5.8.2
"Sony PMB cannot write to disk because an error occurred [0070-8012-8013-0000C01B]
The error during the conversion process. I have reproduced the same error on separate computers (2) (3) operating systems: Windows 7 64 Bit, Windows 7 32 bit & Windows XP. There are 65 to 120 short clips (1 to 5 minutes each) in the writing recorded directly from a HDRCX500 session. I tried to reduce the number of clips, but this does not resolve the issue. Have also tried reanalyzing all media files. I was able to burn discs successfully on files that are less than 8 months old Feb 2012 - April 2011). However, when I try to burn the disk files that have been registered prior to April 24, 2011 the error.

message cannot write to the file destination 1016
I try to export photos to a memory card and I get a message "cannot write to the file destination 1016. I was able to export several photos, then I could not export more. Help
In general, memory cards are in FAT format that hold a number very limited file to the root - the safe way to put photos on a memory card is select them in Photos and export to a folder on the desktop and then use the finder to drag this file to Gendarmerie, unlocked memory card

Error-2625 cannot write the file call node in NI_XML.lvlib:Save.vi
I get this error when you perform a certain acquisition with a CoolSnap HQ2. The user defines its parameters, then these settings are saved in the file so that they can be easily identified later in the database. The error came to us when we did a test with 4 different parameters. We did: Laser X w / filter X; Laser X w / filter Y. Laser Y w / filter X; Laser Y w / filter Y.
The first and the third is saved without errors, but the second and fourth receive errors.
Error-2625 cannot write file call node in NI_XML.lvlibave.vi
Someone has an idea, what happens? This is the vi I'm talking about.
I forgot to mention that the name of filter attribute is 593/LP, could the "/" be the cause?
Found the solution. It is indeed the "/" in the name of the filter that caused the problem. I replaced it with a '-' and everything worked

Cannot copy files to CD or DVD + RW drive
I tried several types of disc but am find me suddenly unable to write / copy files on a DVD or a CD. I use a HP with XP desktop computer. This problem started last night. When I put in a disk, it reads. I clicked on properties, then go to AutoPlay. I choose, for example, a content type - I'll click on say, mixed content, and ok. Everything I do or choose here, it will not save. I hit the Restore Defaults and it does nothing. In Windows Explorer, instead of inscription on the list DVD + RW and whateer in car, it displays an image of a disc with the date and the E drive.
Any ideas on how I can fix this so I can copy files to my DVD discs?
