Canon 60 d audio

I used an external microphone to record a video. You cannot hear voices on the air sound loud. Is there a way I could fix this please?

You recorded outside so the effect you hear is "wind" sound? Normal is to get off the low frequencies. But this may not work because if you don't have enough wind testing on the microphone, it can overload and distorted the audio before it never reached the stage of registration. This can be especially bad if you have registered on the barrel as automatic level control would also make a very bad mess of audio levels with the noise of the wind of high level.

  • Canon C100 AVCHD audio glitch: help?

I had this problem a few times since I use a Canon C100. Ingestion as a prelude CC, some of the clips have an audio glitch that occurs at a time given in the clip.

    Screen Shot 2015-08-27 at 2.28.06 PM.png

Simply discover the waveform of this clip. The sound is good until just after my current time indicator: at that time, the audio loops on a small area until the end of the clip. It looks like this:

This glitch is consistent in prelude and first.

    Screen Shot 2015-08-27 at 2.33.13 PM.png

I figured that the glitch has something to do with the way the audio is in line. So, I clicked on the video and choose "reveal in Finder". Then I went to the root of AVCHD and double click on the directory by opening the AVCHD in Quicktime files, and then I chose the music video made. The clip opens in Quicktime and fortunately, there is no audio glitch. From there, I was able to "save under" the clip on my desktop and then import it into first audio seedless.

It is a good workaround, but anyone know how I can avoid this in Adobe CC again?

Hey man I found a solution for this.  Basically, it's a problem with how Pr manages your Cache files.  So, basically, what you need to do is determine the file name of the clip that gives you the questions, go in your cache files, delete the PEK and the CFA in the cache that are associated with the file and restart PR.  When you restart, Pr will recreate files the cache CORRECTLY, and your audio files is fixed.

  • Canon xf105 - multi audio channels in CC import mxf files

    Hello

We have recently upgraded to CC in all of our Department, and I am importing filmed on our Canon XF-105 using the MXF wrapper. 5.5, I could simply drag and drop the project in the timeline panel and have two audio channels recorded it. CC, I see that the audio recorded with channel 1 and my clip in this instance has been connected to channel 2. Is this something that is known? Did I miss something about the configuration of the project?

Thank you in advance for your help!

Everything you need to know about the project or files, give me a shout!

    See you soon,.

    Paul

Many things have changed since 5.5.

You need configure preferences before importing it.

Contained stereo to Mono Audio / default of Audio tracks.

Or change the audio channels of clips in the project window.

  • Premiere Pro (CC) has encountered an error. (Mac)

Heck, it's bad.  I have flashbacks to Pr CS6.0.0.  I get this error, which leads to an accident:

Premiere Pro has encountered an error.

    [/siree64/releases/2013.02/PremierePro/

    Messanine/Make/Mac /... /... /SRC/utilities.cpp-780]

PR CC works pretty well on the former CS6 and new projects launched in CC.

For the record, I am a professional Premiere Pro power user; not a novice.

This recurring problem that happens when I just click on audio or video some clips in a timeline.  I exported this project via XML and Pr CC FCP7.  All the clips of synchronization are dual; video from a Canon transcoded to ProRes; are audio files. WAV of a Zoom recorder.

    {Sidebar: I have an ongoing project in CC, I started CS6 with video H264: Canon's and audio Zoom.}  {I'm not having the same problems.}

I've exported this problem the CC Pr XML project, opened in Pr CS6, and I do not get the accident by clicking the clips.

It is a new show with CEP and apparently imported via XML projects.

I did all the usual maintanence: Trashed prefs, previews and media Cache.  A ran Disk Warrior.  Problem persists.

Workaround is, once I found a clip that causes the crash, use inside and outside around the clamp to lift, and then manually replace.  Go slowly.  A LOT of crashing.  Every few minutes.  Once the media is replaced, the crash stops.  So, this excludes the corrupt media.  Besides, I ran corrupt Clip Finder of the digital rebellion, and all the media on this project is transmitted in uncorrupted form.  I save approximately every minute now, to not lose too much work.

Glimmer of hope: Pr CC launches about ten times faster than Pr CS6, so getting back to work after an accident is faster.

If anyone has an idea on how to stop this, please chime.

Thanks for the example file.  With her, I was able to reproduce the crash and we are working on a fix.  The failure occurs during the translation of the audio levels keyframe.

As a not very nice work around: If you delete keyframes audio level who will succeed the import.

Do you mean during the import process?

There is no FCP X parameter to change the way THAT DV is imported.

I used to hear the audio import with Sony cameras but Canon may be a different story.

If the imported files are OK, then it can be a thing of Protocol firewire Canon.

  • MTS Canon file has no audio first

I have a Canon VIXIA HF G30 camcorder that I shot the video on yesterday.  I just downloaded the camera using the utility software to import data of Canon.  Then, I go to Premiere Pro CC 2014 and import the clip.  There is no sound if I play the source window or if I add to the timeline and try to play from the sequence.  If I play the file using the video player by default in windows, which is Cyberlink PowerDVD, there is no audio either.  However, Windows Media Player plays great video with audio.

How can I fix it.  I hope that people will not tell me that I need to buy some sort of conversion software.  I ran some updates, so I don't know what else to do.

Help, please!  I need this video as soon as POSSIBLE.

FYI, if anyone else has this problem... while I had Adobe Enterprise connected to my computer tech trying different things, I continued my research and found this thread.  CC 2014.  Now the AVCHD files have no audio.

I suggested that he try, and although it disconnected and disabled by using a different method (I wanted to steal the control mouse back and just try the easy way, but whatever...), it worked!  I hope that all tech Adobe updates their notes for that matter.  If I have not found this thread, I'm sure he would have given up, or has me on a week longer while they understand, or I would have broken my laptop now.

    Hi UCAgrad,

    A few things to try:

    • Choose Help > Sign Out, restart Premiere Pro, select help > Sign In. It allows to activate the application.
    • Also, some users have had success using Adobe Cleaner and then reinstalling Premiere Pro (on Mac).
    • Another user (Windows) managed by the OS reinstallation, and Premiere Pro.

    Thank you

  • Canon MXF files and Audio problems

I recently bought a Canon XF-300 camcorder to use my CS5 Premiere Pro system.

I guess that the XF-300 would create a huge video file until I turned off the machine.

Instead, he represents several in MXF 2 GB files and every time I have to start/stop the camcorder a new video file is created.

And what makes it worse, is that it puts each MXF file in a folder.

When I turn a long clip there are problems with editing several clip 2 GB as opposed to a clip of 13 GB that I used to get with tape.

I use the XF utility to only transfer the video files from my CF card on my hard drive.

Then I perfer to use Pr to concatinate MXF separate files into a single file MP2 wasting a lot of time.

Is there something I could do with the camcorder of the XF utility to join a large file?

Also when I put a MXF file a sequence Pr stero audio track that I'm used from a band splits into 2 separate tracks.

One seems to be mono left and the other right mono.

When I combine them into an MP2 file, I get a mono soundtrack.

How do I get stero sound track?

    Francis,

    The manual I have:

Merge all Clips = merges the flow MXF files in each clip and also merges multiple files selected in a single file.

Merger of each Clip = merges the flow MXF files in each clip but retains several selected files in a different way.

With regard to the problem of audio:

In Premiere Pro CS6, you can set the Audio tracks by default for your stereo import instead of double mono/multi-channel mono media files. I don't know if it was an option in CS5, but I think that it is not.

In CS6 you do the following:

    1. edit > Preferences > Audio ("' Premiere Pro > Preferences > Audio" Mac ")

2 under default Audio tracks, change multi-channel Mono Media 'Use the file' in 'Stereo '.

    3 click OK.

Note that this will not affect already imported clips. This setting affects preferably clip when you import.

  • Canon AVCHD video choppy/out of sync with audio on PE8

I imported several videos of our new Canon camcorder; they look great on Windows Media Player and Adobe Bridge.  But when I play them in PE8 video is hesitant and jerky, although the sound seems fine.   My daughter has made great videos with PE8 and other video sources as well as photos and she also has no idea why this problem occurs with my videos from Canon.  Also located on my 64-bit Windows 7 PC CS4 and Lightroom 2.  All I want is a simple way to edit my videos and add photos and then the CD, and I can't seem to access the first base on PE8.  Thanks for any idea.

What is the Preset project chosen for the source of the layer of this new camera footage? It should be HD AVCHD and you also want to match the Audio settings with the Audio setting on the camera. A lot of AVCHD cameras can be set to record in Dolby Digital 5.1 SS, and if you have the other, you want also to be selected. Your project Preset should match your footage source 100%, or you will encounter problems.

My guess is that you are still using the old project preset, and the new camera, it will take another. When this is done, you should have a red line above the Clips in the timeline, and the reading must be very smooth and synchronized.

    Good luck

  • Canon powershot sx500 video shot at a concert. The audio is overmodulating

Hello I used the sx500 Powershot.  Love for still images.   Try shooting video at a concert.  The audio was overmodulating.   The volume of the camera can be lowered?  What do you suggest me?

    Thank you

    Dawn B

    Hi dawnbelotti!

Thank you for posting.  The PowerShot SX500 is a great camera for still shooting and video most of the conditions that do not involve very high level of shooting.  However, you can not get the highest audio quality when a concert recording, which can have high levels of volume.  There is not a parameter setting of the camera for the entry level of the microphone of the camera, so it is difficult to compensate for such a high volume level.

  • El Capitan 10.11.2 disconnects from the network of Canon printer macbook pro after each use but with the same OS version iMac remains connected

How to prevent my Macbook Pro El Capitan 10.11.2 going to disconnect my network printer Canon?   My iMac running the same OS version don't unplug and behaves like any normal wireless connection.  I deleted the printer and added back, reset printing, etc. nothing works.  Given that the Mac is 6 "each other and 5 feet of printer during the last test, it must be something specific to the Macbook.  The Macbook identifies the printer after each reboot the printer as printer Canon right, but once the task is completed does not have the printer.  Everything is on the same wireless network. Computer Windows also recognizes the printer and it keeps alive after printing.

Please read this message before doing anything.

This procedure is a diagnostic test. It is unlikely to solve your problem. Don't be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.

The test is intended to determine if the problem is caused by a third-party software that loads automatically at startup or logon, by a device, by a police conflict or corruption of system files or some system caches.

Disconnect all devices wired except those required to test and remove all the expansion cards from secondary market, as appropriate. Start in safe mode and log on to the account of the problem.

Note: If FileVault is enabled in OS X 10.9 or an earlier version, or if a firmware password is defined, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can not do this. Ask for additional instructions.

Safe mode is much slower to boot and run as normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things work at all, including an audio output and a Wi - Fi connection on some models. The next normal boot can also be a bit slow.

The login screen is displayed even if you usually connect automatically. You need your password to log on. If you have forgotten the password, you will have to reset it before you begin.

Test in safe mode. Same problem?

After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and make sure you always have the problem. View the results of the test.

  • How to add a mic on Canon EOS 1200D?

    Hello

I belong to the consumer of the Canon EOS 1200D with EF 18-55 MM Kit lens. I noticed that it doesn't have an audio input. However, I like to record the audio of my table mixer and video of my digital SLR simultaneeously without video editing. Is it possible to add an audio input to the camera?

    Thank you

Negative results.  You must save your audio separately and then use video editing.  Use a digital slate on audio and video synchronization.

  • Canon camcorder Vixia HFR20 does not save its settings on some of them after the application?

Lately my camcorder, which I use to make short films with a ceased to save certain settings after changing them for what I need to do. It is a huge problem for me because it does not affect my AV my headphones so I can listen to the audio as it plays in my film, as well as it does not allow me to change my external Audio input for my microphone. When I said "some" I also hear that one of the parameters, input HDMI CAN change. Help?

    Hello again, RexLego,

The last statement in your investigation could very well solve the problems you meet; the fact that you are missing the compact power adapter from Canon.  It is built in the lithium battery that needs to be connected to the wall outlet to charge.  So in fact, you should have connect compact adapter to the camcorder, plug it into the wall and leave it plugged in for 24 hours with the power off.  Just charge the main battery by itself will not do the trick.

We suspect that you don't notice it until now because the battery recharges to last about three months before it goes dead and needs a complete.  If you wish no longer to find the original compact PSU or consider ordering a new to replace.

A new can be purchased from our Canon Sales Department.  Call 1-800-828-4040 for the sales department.  Listen to the guest accessories and follow the recorded instructions.  The Sales Department is open 08:00 to midnight (EST), 7 days a week.  They will be able to provide you with price and availability information.

  • Buzz of pitch high woman victim Canon XA20

I recently bought two Sony UWP - D11 to work with my Canon XA20 wireless microphones. I have the film interviews in three floors building. I use headphones (headphones at 12 on camcorder setting) during recording and can not hear a buzzing or extra noise while filming. However, it's another story when I add the files on my or other computers. The pickups will sometimes work well on the floor and then experience a humming noise and audio pitch high down or vice versa. Sometimes I just encounter the problem in all locations. There are a lot of inconsistencies. I spoke with a representative of sony to ensure that my microphone settings were not the issue.

This could be a problem with the way in which the files are written to a memory card, what I use, the card memory internet wireless in the building, or another problem? If so, what would be the best solution?

    I really appreciate your help.

    Hi Clare27!

    Thanks for posting.

It is possible that something causes interference or signal of buzz is coming from the micro receiver.  If you connect a standard stereo microphone of no wireless in the camera, you hear the same buzz?
