Canon 70 d - delay in taking pictures

Hello world:

I just bought my first digital SLR - a Canon 70 d with the 18-135mm kit lens. I'm still very new to this, but am anxious to know if I was starting to use the camera by chance to get a feel for it and read the manual before taking my first class in a few weeks. I have a problem a little capture a few shots, however, because I have a good few seconds delay after pressing the shutter button. I am sure that I am pressing on to Midway and then the rest of the way as the manual says, but I must be something wrong or have a certain setting on, no? I can't seem to figure it out, so you thought everything might be able to help me here.

Thank you!
Kristen

Kristen, welcome to digital Canon DSLR photography. Here's a thought - are you sure that you do not have the self-timer turned on? To do this, turn off your camera button on the DRIVE (deuxieme to the left of the right upper side of your camera). In the LCD window, look at what a symbol is in the box on the top row, second from the left. If there is a symbol that resembles a stopwatch (it may have a 2 below), you are in self-timer mode. Move the wheel behind the shutter button to switch to a different drive mode - you want to probably the single rectangle if you are a beginner. Let us know if this is not the problem.

When taking picture with the light in the background with the camera back from my iPhone more than 6 s, there is a clear blue colour square (a bit like a reflection of the light) will appear.

someone has an idea of what's going on?

The blue square is the area of the camera is in point and exposure on.

Tap on the area actually taking a picture of. For example, if you take a photo of someone int eh the room and the bottom is very light (or dark), tap on the face of the person to turn to that.

I lost my toshiba recovery CD, it is an a135/s4677, I reinstalled vista, but in the first instance. I am already taking pictures of the sticker and serial No. my laptop if you need if you can help me please write me * address email is removed from the privacy * thank you

If you had not reinstalled Vista, we helped you recover the product key of Vista for running old, Vista activated using specific programs.

But, as you have wiped the hard and reinstall Vista, we will not help you recover the product key.

Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a recovery disk/s Vista set.

Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.

Using recovery disks is normally not need to insert a product key.

  • Canon t5i lcd turns off after taking pictures

I just got my Canon T5i... I noticed that the LCD screen turns off sometimes after taking photos or videos. I don't know why... I did not press the "info" button and it will not turn back even if I press the shutter button to halfway... I know that the camera is still on though because if I press on the screen it will take a picture and this picture is stored on the card (after that I turned off the camera completely and wait a few minutes and turn it back on)...

When the LCD is turned off, I can't get it on... I will touch the screen and try to press the display button to see photos, but it will start...

and Yes, I disabled the auto lcd off etc...

Here is a little video I made sure to show you what I saw. http://www.YouTube.com/watch?v=TroZa5xLduM

Should I have a defective camera?

I noticed in the video that she has Lieview, take a picture and then the picture does not appear, and there is more no Liveview display.  She then press the Liveview button and nothing happens. There's no other option I can think of that allows you to turn off the LCD screen back when you're in Liveview. That tells me that the device is defective.

  • I have a Canon T3i and when I take pictures in auto mode, all my pictures look a bit washed out.

If I put my camera in P mode, put the balance of whites in the setting "100", of "disorder" (even in the Sun) ISO Picture style 'landscape', my photos look better, have more color saturation, more to my taste.  Guess my question is, is it possible to make the settings in automatic mode, to achieve the results in my pictures that I receive when you use the Mode "P"?  It seems to be the same for all the goals that I use, although usually use my Canon 18-55mm kit lens.   I took samples of the same scene in a car, then P mode and the difference is dramatic.  Is it possible to change the default settings in Automatic Mode for this problem?  And if not, why Cannon would set the default settings for these poor results?

Because I gave up on Auto a very long time for the same reasons that you are having problems I don't know whether or not they have improved how it works. IF you get better results in PROGRAM mode (which you can also refine to be of even better results) then I think that it works as expected. I THINK Canon should not give buyers a DSLR the Auto setting. More first-time buyers spend a lot of time to earn the money to buy their first DSLR & think they can ignore learn them to use by choosing the Auto Mode. For me, it's a foolish gesture. Spend 10% of the time that it took to earn money by reading the manual & practicing things, he tries to explain.

  • Canon USB camera will not download pictures

I have a Canon Power Shot A40 camera, win 7 pro 64-bit, USB cable, devices and printers gives yellow (!) but 'apply patch' led me on site, Cannon but no device driver required (?), autoplay does not start when the camera powered and plugged... I think it's set up right... allowed and pictures says "import pictures... ».  It seems that Win 7 just recognizes as a camera?  Works very well with the old system XP that starts a sort of an assistant to download USB is plugged.  System is HP Pavilion Elite HPE - 570 t with i7-2600, this is the first time I tried to use any device with this system.

    Please help, thanks.

Problem solved, the driver required for Win 7 does not exist, the camera is too old.

    Well I guess that's progress?

  • Screen flashes while taking pictures using the Auto flash and front camera on

Question: Screen flashes with blank white light while taking the photo using a front camera with the flash light on which is so annoying

    Note:

After taking the photo, the photo is visible and doesn't have any problem

I could be wrong, but I think that this is how flash works for the front facing camera.

  • What type of SIM card should I buy for taking pictures with ZTEOPEN?

Never used photo with ZTEOPEN purchased 10/2013 option. Another thing I need to take pictures and upload them?

The SIM card is only used for the mobile network.

To store your photos, you can use the internal memory, but it is not recommended because of the constraint of storage.

You should consider the purchase of a MicroSD card.
If you want only to take pictures with your phone, then you can buy a relatively small MicroSD card, 8 GB will give you plenty of room.

  • iMac OSX ElCaptain - a few photos screen saver are zoomed - taking pictures

I have my photos on my screensaver, but many of them are zoomed.  Also have a problem with faces in iPhoto - cannot turn off and a lot of my pictures have gone to a few faces? iMac OS X EL Captain worm 10.11.3 I pictures in iPhoto and photos and it becomes very confusing.  I wish that all my photos randomly flashes on the screen - but with pictures everywhere, I am not able to do.  I'd love to consolidate and do them all in one place

You give little information so I'm not clear on what you have or what you want

Basically when you are migrating from iPhoto to Photos both libraries are identical (and share the original and previews using hard links) - as move you toward the front of the changes are made only in the library you use (Photos or iPhoto) and nothing that do you in one program affects the other - if you do not have two different libraries - the two are identical except for additions and deletions you did since the initial migration

  • Still can not play music while taking pictures 6 s!

I take pictures with my phone for work, I have 5 years. I used to be able to listen to music while doing so, now with 6 s/iOS 9 + I can't. It may seem silly to some, but it literally prevents my day. Whenever a new iOS update comes through that I cross my fingers and hope that this will be one but not. So frustrating. Is this going to get a software patch or what!

  • Error-1073807343 when taking picture of façade

Attachment vi works very well to take a picture of the front, but when I try to reproduce the same code on a different VI, I got the error: error-1073807343

VISA: (Hex 0xBFFF0011) insufficient location information or the device or resource is not present in the system.

The code I try to use in another VI is attached: front panel take photo - Block Diagram.gif

    Your VI works well.

I don't think that that this VI is the origin of the problem

VISA error takes place a few other reasons, explained here.

Also, please check that the cluster of error is done correctly through the VI (if you use it as a Subvi)

  • While taking pictures of the full moon I end up with a ghost image.

Is it because of the filters in place? The entry please. Canon T5i with 18-135mm zoom EF5. I used the auto without flash.

Bright and particularly bright objects on more often dark backgronds, can create 'ghosts' when you have flat filters attached to the goal.  The flat surface is a perfect 'mirror' and light reflects on the front of the lens, hits the filter and reflects in the goal of creating the copy "ghost".

Superior quality filters usually have good anti-reflection treatment to mitigate the effects, but I think it's better just to remove the filter completely and use them when they are needed or useful.

  • My screen saver pictures is taking pictures of evil records

I used the Photos of Windows Vista screensaver for quite awhile and even if it used to work very well for some reason any must now images from anywhere in my computer.  I now can't use it at all because I don't want obviously not scanned documents medical, personal letters etc. which appear randomly on the screen.

I went into settings and I checked the part that says ' use pictures and videos of: C:/users/name/photos so I don't know why he started to do this.

Please check if you have added a different folder location in the screen saver settings.
