Canon Digital Photo Professional is not compatible with Windows 8?

I'd appreciate any help available.  I just bought an HP computer with windows 8.  I got a Canon Rebel t3i for Christmas and you may not use the software that came with it for editing.  It's Digital photo professional.   My computer tells me it's not compatible, but I went to Canon and downloaded the updated version and it still does not work.   The error message comes when I click on to say the Office X program requires a display capable of resolution 1024 x 768 or more (screen area) and colourful or higher settings.   The resolution is defined as recommended in 1920 x 1080 and color seems high.    Very frustrated because my sister says that it is a great program for my camera.   Please respond to all suggestions.   Thanks in advance.

So say microsoft digital image suite is not compatible with Windows 7, but I just read this on a forum and other people were in agreement:

"I have Microsoft Digital Image Suite 2006 and installed on Windows 7 64bt without any problem at all. I didn't do anything special, just installed. I don't understand why other people had problems. "

me the trying to instal it or it will cause problems to other programs? I can't find anything as versatile as Microsoft Photo Suite Edition and would be very happy if it would work on windows 7.

Nope. Not bad at all. At most, it will not work or some features work exactly as they should. But, most of the people that I have seen and read about had no problems at all. You really don't lose anything else than it is time to give it a try. Chances are, though, that it will work without any problem.

  • Microsoft Plus! Digital Media Edition is not compatible with Windows 7

I have Microsoft! Digital Media Edition, I bought March 22, 2004. I changed my computer, now I have Window 7 operating system, I just realized that I can't install the CD on this laptop. You kindly advise, thanks.

There is no option here because more EMR is not compatible with Windows 7, you need to try to find alternative solutions that correspond closely to all of the features of it. Windows Live Essentials includes features such as the new Windows Live Movie Maker that includes features similar to photo story. Features like features MP3 encoder and clock radio, for that you will need to find third-party alternatives. Programs such as RealPlayer and WinAmp work encoding of audio files in different formats, so these are two you can watch.

    Hello!

Digital Photo Professional 4.4.30 for Windows 10 x 64 (my Dell laptop) was working fine until yesterday afternoon. I did some work on some of my photos of CR2.

Then Ctrl + D to convert and save it in JPG format. The treatment file took forever, and there was no picture output at all.

I tried to reinstall my graphics driver, then DDP4.4.30 for 3 times. Still no luck at all.

Do you know what has happened and what would be a solution for this?

    Hi PaalBucher,

According to the Microsoft Windows 7 Compatibility Center, the scanner is not compatible with Windows 7.

    http://www.Microsoft.com/Windows/compatibility/Windows-7/en-us/default.aspx

There are also no drivers for the scanner on the Canon Web site.

  • My Canon DR 3060C is not compatible with Windows 7

Canon did not update the DR-3060 64-bit driver. Does anyone have a solution for this?

He has had some success using the DR - 2050 c 64 bit drivers. Please see the local thread for more details.

My Scanner for Canon DR - 2080C is not compatible with Windows 7

Just because Canon is not willing to update their library of drivers together does not mean that drivers designed for material with the internal equivalents "engines" will not work. Find the closest match, you can to your scanner that provides 64-bit Windows 7 drivers and give them a try. While some tests may be needed, you can always uninstall everything that does not work.

If you reach a satisfactory success please post here with your experience so that others in similar circumstances can benefit.

  • HP Mini 110-3101TU: HP Mini 110-3101TU is not compatible with Windows 10?

I've been running my HP Mini laptop in Windows 7, IE11 with an external (extended desktop) Samsung SyncMaster LS23A300BS/XP with no problems of navigation. All drivers up to date. I received a free upgrade for Windows 10 I installed online 2 weeks ago and have not been able to make a good navigation on the internet yet, either on board or IE11: both crash in browsers after a 2nd or 3rd browser, blocking and the opening page process may not be finished in Manager tasks so that Windows can not stop (you need to disconnect). I followed all the advice, corrections and common sense (clean boot) pertaining to this crash, but nothing works. On top of this crash, there is a problem with the application of Windows Explorer which can not read a statement in memory at shutdown of Windows 10 and must be closed in the first place. The last problem occurs only (I think) when working with the external montor, when I work with the laptop only I've not seen this message (can not read the instructions...) when stopped down, but blocks the navigation happens tirelessly with one or two monitors.

I played with the DNS (using automatic 8.8.8.8 etc. and DNS), I also run a PowerShell (tip forum) command and disabled non-Windows file extensions and all supplements but did not touch the registry other than adding two words for maximum 10 tabs/server. Nothing helps.

Question: My Mini laptop too old and incompatible (surfing the internet) with Windows 10 or maybe Windows 10 faulty (buggy)?

I am writing this post with my old Compac HP 8710p with the same monitor external but digital (DVI/HDMI cable) in VistaSP2 32bits Business that works like a 'charm' (pun intended). I could not even connect you to this forum with Windows (crash) 10.

Any suggestions and help would be appreciated

    Track 5 September 19:00 (GMT + 8 hrs.)

Not crashing with browsers (Edge and IE11) but still very slow and often-page response cannot be found and freeze, then after updating but I am now able to close the frozen pages (no more crashing, process in normal Task Manager). The message Windows Explorer app that it cannot read a statement in memory occurs that when my external browser is connected (2 active monitors) and does not show using my laptop just so it's probably Intel graphics driver related. I didn't know I was downloading Defender 5 updates yesterday that there is nowhere a notification in Windows, 10 with a slow (home, 2 G WIFI) internet connection may have caused some of my problems, but Microsoft has promised to look into the crash problems I brought today and I'll post the results shortly. I type this follow-up with my HP Mini and IE11, Windows 10...

    Updated: 9 September

I found three issues that I fixed and most of the problems have disappeared now, internet Windows response is still slow compared to VistaSP2 and IE9 but which can improve with W10 updated.

The last driver Synaptics touchpad from Synaptics and Windows 10 fix1 support web page: load automatically downloaded an update.

Correction 2: Downloaded Intel driver 3150 8.14.10.2230 (2010) of the web page of the HP support and ran Windows 10 compatibility check, saved results to setup.exe and then install the (older) driver on my graphics driver (2015) Intel 3150 more recent that I have downloaded from the Intel support web page but is not compatible with the HP Mini 110 series. This caused the accidents of Edge and IE11 (zoom).

Fix 3: run 2 commands (admin) NETSH: netsh winsock reset and netsh int ip reset c:\resetlog.txt which improves the response of browsers, but after restarting the need for procedures to be repeated, if all goes well in a future update of the W10, will address this issue.

I think that my HP Mini is now compatible Windows 10

  • Microsoft Picture It is not compatible with Windows 7

Original title: Microsoft "Picture It" - an excellent program to create all kinds of greeting cards, etc.

I used Microsoft "Picture It" with my version of Windows XP and really liked.  When my computer crashed, I had Windows 7 with my new computer automatically.  I found many of my old programs were not compatible with this new version.  That I miss more is Picture It.  Microsoft made any other similar program that is compatible with Windows 7?

Microsoft made any other similar program that is compatible with Windows 7?

Microsoft Picture IT is not compatible with Windows 7. Microsoft's picture IT was abandoned and has been replaced by Windows Live Photo Gallery. You can download Windows Live Photo Gallery for free and install it on Windows 7.

    Windows Live Photo Gallery:

You can also use the built-in photo editing Paint program. To open Paint, click the Start button, click programs, accessories principally made, and then click Paint.

  • JASC Dell Image Expert is not compatible with Windows 7

I went from using a Dell computer with Wndows Vista on a Toshiba with WIndows 7.  I installed my old software Dell Image Expert on my new computer but is not compatible with Windows 7 and will not work with my photos.  I understand that Dell sold this software by JASC and was abandoned by Dell and sold to Corel.  Is could someone please tell me what software will work with my old Dell Image Expert.  I want a program that I can install on my computer and load all the photos from my old computer to the new.  Any help will be appreciated

    Hello

You may need to contact Dell to see if they have released any software in place of Dell Image Expert, or you can use your favorite search engine to find for any application that might help you with the same.

Note: Using third-party software, including hardware drivers can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the use of third-party software can be solved. Software using third party is at your own risk.

Also, you can try to install Windows Live Photo Gallery and check if that helps. Download the same from the below given link.

  • Linksys NAS200 2Bay SATA 2Port Network Attached Storage is not compatible with Windows 7

Searching for answers, I found this: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/compatibility/Windows-7/en-us/Details.aspx?type=Hardware&p=Linksys%20NAS200%202Bay%20SATA%202Port%20Network%20Attached%20Storage&v=Linksys&uid=NAS200&l=en-US&pf=0&pi=5&c=Networking&sc=Network%20Attached%20Storage&os=32-bit

Aparently this device is not compatible with Windows 7.

I have one of those NASs with 2 SATA hard drives of 500 GB searched... I have all my music, movies, photos, and all of our backups of document on this device.  Because I have set up as a RAID array, I don't think I can remove the discs and put them in something to get my "stuff".  We used to use Win XP but recently upgraded both our machines to Win 7.

If someone has been able to find a way to get to their stuff on one of those Linksys NAS200 devices without finding another WinXP machine somewhere?

    Hi Ken Mizell,

If the device is not supported in Windows 7, you need to use a computer that is running Windows XP to move the data to a new storage device.
