  Please upgrade virtual hardware for the virtual machine, that will be the problem alone without rebooting. Check also whether Debian linux 7 is supported on this version of ESX.

• CM1312 with windows 8/64: Scan to PDF is not possible

  It is no problem to get a PDF of the analyses using the MFC cm1323 with a computer running Windows XP. After you change the computer and now Windows 8/64, the scan to PC function offers only files such as jpg, tiff, etc. I acknowledge also the 'Document Manager' is no longer available after downloading the Solution Center software. Is Manager of Document not yet available for Windows 8? If so, is there another possibility to get PDF files without Adobe Acrobat software?

  Thanks for this comment. It will be at least prevents me to keep looking. That I do not scan to PDF files very often, I'll get a solution that is free; No matter if I first scan and then reformat the file in a second operation.

• Reference Dell mono mfp B1165nfw "scan to pc" function not available

  I have been using my dell mfp mono B1165nfw with the same Dell Inspiron 620 (8.1 to Windows 64 - bit, updated) Office for several years.

  Sometimes I scan documents on my desk. Just today, I print my desktop on the printer, signed documents and wanted to scan. When I started trying to scan, after "warm-up", I get WARNING "beeps" and the text "Not available" appears on the printer.

  I am able to see the printer from the web browser of desktop 192.168.1.51/.../index.html >, everything seems OK.

  Troubleshooting for me tips?

  Fixed my problem by resetting the the path of the file on my desktop system from within the Dell Printer Manager program on my desktop. (I added a subdirectory and makes the scanner here.) Not sure why the scan function 'lost' visibility, but I'm OK now.

• PDF is not one of the options in the print dialog

  When I try to print the document in PDF (record) is not one of the options under Print dialogue. I have my printer, fax and what is called the Microsoft XPS document writer. I can't find any instructions on how to load it. It is available as an option on all my other programs.

  You can find this option in the file menu > save as... > Photoshop PDF

  Since Photoshop has its ' own format PDF, PDF Microsoft (and Apple too) option is not there in the print unlike your other programs dialog box.

  So there is nothing wrong with your printer setup, it's just the way it was done in Photoshop.

  I am not an experienced or professional Illustrator user but have created several PDF files up to a couple of weeks without problem.

  Today I am trying to export or print to PDF and the PDF option disappeared for export and save dialog boxes. The only option for printing is Adobe PostScript file (I have no printer connected). The option is not available in any of my files HAVE. Finally, I printed 3 weeks ago and had no problem. I don't think I made fundamental changes to the configuration of the Illustrator.

  I'm using CS5 15.0.0 on a MacBook Pro under OS Lion 10.7.2.

  I'm sure it's an easy fix.

• Theme installs but not available as an Option

  I created a main theme for the Curve series.  The 8330, the installsfine theme and is available as an option in "themes."  He also appears in the list of applications.  On some newer models, it will install and appear in the list of installed application but is NOT an available option in Options > theme... no idea why it would install but not be a theme valid?

  In general, it is because the theme being installed is an operating system of different version than is on the phone.  Check your OS phone and compare to what OS the theme is for.

• Overview of the PDF is not available

  We recently bought a second copy of LiveCycle so that I can help the development of the form. I had a 60 day trial installed a while back (which has since been uninstalled) and everything worked fine. I could edit PDFs and then preview inside of LiveCycle.

  So a few months since the trial pass and now we decide to actually buy. I get installed it and open a form to go to work - then I noticed the preview PDF tab is gone and it is grayed out in the menu 'View'. F5 does not work.

  So, after scouring Internet, here's what I've tried so far who didn't do anything:

  1. Make sure that Display PDF in browser is selected. I don't have this option in Arobat Pro XI, but I installed the X player, and he was there and checked.
  2. Installed Acrobat LiveCycle front. Tried it, didn't work.
  3. Make sure that the Adobe's PDF reader is enabled in Internet Explorer. Made, has been activated when I checked.
  4. Reinstall all products. Uninstalled Acrobat XI, LiveCycle, and Reader. Reinstalled Acrobat XI, then LiveCycle. No luck.
  5. Define Acrobat XI as the default PDF Viewer. Already done, did nothing.

  We at our end, try to understand this. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

  If necessary software Info:

  • LiveCycle Designer ES4 (purchase of individual license on Adobe.com)
  • Acrobat Pro XI (acquired on creative cloud membership)
  • Windows 8.1

  In addition, as I mentioned previously, it worked before during the trial period of 60 days with the exact same software. I have really no idea why it doesn't work now.

  I eventually found that it works today in uninstalling and reinstalling everything - for the 3rd time. I did a reboot after each uninstall / install, both ran Acrobat, disabled/enabled the PDF from Adobe Reader in Internet Explorer, then started the LiveCycle. I have created a new form, and the preview PDF tab was there. Must have been something getting caught upward when I reinstalled everything the first time.

  If you happen to remember the registry keys, could you please share them (even if my problem is solved)? It would be good to have for future reference and for others looking for the same question.

  What's not here? Everything works and I checked the preferences under Edit menu. I even turned off my firewall to the case where. Also read aloud mode is checked under view in the Menu and I started it at the beginning of the document. I also checked my audio on my computer and everything is ok. Hmmm.? Can someone help me?

  Thanks to a contributor whose Id I have now lost but has the answer! It's go to preferences under display in the Menu and click general. Then uncheck Protected Mode. close the reader and re open and it worked. The voice is so much nicer than the old Adobe Reader software. Thanks to the contributors of the Forum.

  When I right click on a tile that is active in the desktop Start Menu, it's see the check mark on the tile, but I'm not some options provided below on the apps taskbar i.e, 'Run as administrator', 'open file location', and there is no resizing.   I don't see "detach from the beginning ', 'uninstall', 'large' and"disable live tiles. "  What are the options and how to do for their active and visible in the taskbar of the apps?

  Store apps have no locations, you can navigate to (under normal circumstances).

  In addition, Store apps cannot run as "Administrator" because they are sandboxed in a virtual machine, so that they are extremely safe and can be virus.  This is also why you cannot use apps if you do not have UAC enabled: Virtualization provided by the UAC security model is required or the platform cannot even initialize an app in the first place.

  Make sure you are in the menu of the PHONE... Press the Green dial key to enter the call log, then Menu > Options, etc.
