• Missing site navigation

  I noticed that some sites are not the navigation buttons.
  In particular the TomTom shop does not work in Firefox because instead of the buttons, I get an icon of displacement of the bars, as a gauge of progress, but no button to click.
  Works fine on the old Explorer I always on the PC.
  Also noticed that the 'paid for' Google search results do nothing (but maybe it's the fact that I have blocked doubleclick).

• Cannot add computers to an SBS 2011 Standard field; Connect the missing site

  I installed SBS 2011 as a new installation.  Things seem to go well... no error and the system works, works by e-mail.  The problem is that when I try HTTP://connect or https://connect to add a computer to the domain of errors.  When I go in IIS there is no Connect Web site.

  How this site to install without having to reinstall my entire operating system?

• Where are my site definitions?

  I started Dreamweaver CS5 today, to see that none of my 30 + sites were available in my the Site Management window, and I don't know why.  The only clue I have is that a few weeks back, I've updated all my Adobe programs, for the first time in a month or two.  Dreamweaver was among them, as I remember specifically.

  Since this update I did had not launch DW until today, only to find my missing sites.

  I found a few messages about something similar to this and tried their solutions.  It's my keychain check/repair and replace my Site file (user > library > application support of > adobe > common > 10 > sites) from a Time Machine backup.  None of these worked.

  I have months of solid backups with Time Machine, at this point I don't know what I have to restore however.  Are there opportunities or suggestions how to fix this problem?  It will be a major disadvantage of having to configure all these site again.

  PS. Note that all files of my site are safe, I only lost site definitions in Dreamweaver.

  Nobody does!  It is an intermittent problem (fortunately rare) that DW has had for years.  The solution is of course to keep a full backup of your site definitions using the Site Manager export feature.

  In any case, on a Mac, your site and the site prefs are saved here-

  /Users//Library/Application Support/Adobe/Common/11/Sites

  I'm using CS4 on a Mac under OS10.5.6. I accidentally deleted a single site, entered in Time Machine and recovered it, then the next time I started CS4 * * all my sites went - some 30 sites. I still run CS3 (I have to support the other here at work with older versions), so I can go and export some of the sites from CS3, but there are still many sites that were built only in CS4. Any idea on how to get these back? Is there a file I can restore from Time Machine that can contain that? I read the previous posts about missing site definitions, but they refer to the register PC - not a solution for a Mac user. Help! Thanks for your suggestions.

  On a Mac, site definitions are located in Macintosh HD:: Library: Application Support: Adobe: Common: 10:Sites:Site Pref.

• YouTube plays very good but not Facebook or other videos on the site, it says I'm missing a plugin?

  Hi Brandonacker, you probably need to install adobe flash player plugin for sites to display video content, which you can download from https://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/distribution3.html (use the windows exe for plugin installer according to browsers)

  • Press 'Ctrl + F5' or 'Ctrl + Shift + R' (Windows, Linux)

  Clear the cache and cookies from Web sites that cause problems.

• Index.html file missing when I download Iweb site to go Daddy

  So, I built a website using Iweb.

  I downloaded on Godaddy using Fetch.

  The files are all there in the correct folder, but the site does not open.

  When the support of Go Daddy looked at the files, they said that the problem is the index.html file is missing.

  It is a compressed, file index.html.gz, but they are not familiar with it and this isn't in the right format to use.

  If someone else has had this problem and you know the solution? I tried to launch my site for 48 hours now.

  Support said that everything seems to be fine.

  It all depends on how you have downloaded from the site?

  Have you downloaded your site folder or just the contents of the folder of your site?  If you have downloaded the site folder, then you need 2 files to index - an index.html file will be inside the site folder and the other will be sitting outside pointing in.

  If you have just downloaded the content in your folder Public_html on GoDaddy, then you need an index.html file and that it is.

  Don't know how you got index.html.gz.  What you need is one or two files index.html and that's all.

  Republish your site new to iWeb to a local folder and check the files that have been produced and if the index.html file is there.  It should be, but there should be no zipped or other, just one or two files with index.html.

  They must be there.

  This is the first site you've built?  If so, why choose iWeb?  Not sure that this is an unsupported product that has not been updated for at least 6 years now?

  Remember to move on and using supported software.
