  To do this, you must choose a single installation as the default and change the BCD in this one to include starting in the installation of other.

  Installing Win7 on the internal HARD disk is the best choice because he will always be there.

  That change, download and install EasyBCD from Neosmart Technologies.  It is a tool on the menu to change the BCD.  It is safe to download and use, as I use it all the time.

  Once installed, follow these steps:

  (1) run EasyBCD

  2) click on the button Add a new entrance on the left

  (3) in the section on the right operating system, click the Windows tab, and then select the drive that contains the OTHER Windows startup

  4) click the button Add an entry

  Now when you reboot your machine, you should see a menu with two entries - one for each version of the windows OS.

  First turn off you cannot install an OS on a disc in another PC, it won't work.

  what you need to do is

  Install the new drive in the PC

  Insert the USB key into one of the USB slots

  Restart the look pc under Options to boot to the USB Flash drive device (NOTE: it might be called USB key)

  If you do not see the under Options in Boot Device USB Flash drive then try to enter the BIOS by pressing F10

  and try to turn on Legacy Boot

  Then try to boot from the USB Flash Drive again using the last steps

  The 128 GB 2.5 inch SSD was just the biggest HP offered to sell the plant. If your laptop has a 2.5-inch SATA drive (some of them operate entirely off small mSATA WSSD readers) then you can replace it with a 2.5 inch SATA SSD of any size on the market. You will not have to pay anything in the BIOS. Your best way to upgrade is to clone the existing for the SSD drive. This should be easy, because they will be very close to the same size. You will need an adapter usb to SATA, but you probably want to get an ayway to continue using the HARD original as external storage drive.

  I have my windows installed on a Samsung 840 Series SSD 120 GB and a WD 320 HDD as secondary drive in a basket in the dvd disc space. The two worked very well.

  I got 301 MB of unallocated HARD disk space and the rest as a partition.  I used MiniTool Partition Wizard 9 wish that one partition with all the space unallocated. After the changes have taken effect, it showed the hard drive as a 'bad disk '. I thought that I should restart windows to solve this problem. After that restart the laptop is stuck on the start screen that you can access the BIOS, the caps lock light flashes 5 times several times and then stops. The hard drive seems to be on and I can't access BIOS.

  When I remove the disk hard windows starts very well.

  Remove the HARD drive and put temporarily in a desktop computer to clone it will not violate the warranty.

  Another method is to use a software product by one of the few companies to achieve. The Paragon Software makes software called Backup & Recovery 15 House. He will do exactly what you ask in your thread ann drive external hard usb.

  There are also free available software products that will do the same thing but not as reliabkly as a paid version of cloning.

  When I bought the Tm2 a few years back, I not create a system for her recovery disk. Now that I have the ProBook 640, and realize how much faster it is... I want to do a restart of the system on the Tm2 and add the extra 4 gigs of RAM.

  The proBook 640 came with recovery disks when I bought it...  Anyone know if I could also use them for the tm2?

  Probably an obvious answer to this... I just haven't the experience or the knowledge base.

  OK, Hi everyone, I got my new (bought used) M5 - 581 T-6807 and can not install the latest updates from Microsoft. I have about 1 gig memory, & used D: path, as partitioning to run a great program in a (connected) M: drive. I turned off hibernation, indexing, and I believe that I have no other means to free the memory more easily. I'm not sure that I can spend the 20 Gig SSD to a SSD of Gig 110 240 dollars. That would be nice, but the budget is tight right now. The computer came with Windows 8, but I bought it with Windows 7 Ultimate on it, needed at least Win 7 Professional.

  My HARD disk drive is very good at the 450 concerts, I hardly started to fill.

  Any help with this would be appreciated! I have a good Imaging program to save my SDD drive & HARD disk drive. I have no records of recovery or operating system, so the imaging is a must for me.

  I just want to be able to use this machine, I like its fast speed, but gets results more loaded on the drive D: is taking more of my time programming (my skills are in the software) and make me a hardware person (my skills are average at least).

  You physically impossible to move your USB 3.0 only medium is a PCMIA card that has connections USB3. With respect to the processor that depends on the P/n, and then repair will tell you if you can or cannot go to i5.

  First of all on my laptop.
  I have the standart P5S63EA Setup (which is described on this page: http://www8.hp.com/ua/ru/products/laptops/product-detail.html?oid=9260217)

  The problem is my healthy plant after several hours of work. Sometimes one to two day works all crashes, then sound but good.
  To solve this problem, I have to restart my laptop or a party in sleep and restore. And then his restores.

  On the pilots and others: I installed all drivers support page (most recent version of the drivers as offer cos support page). Also I have updated my BIOS to the latest version 1.07 at the moment.

  Then when everything works fine, when I press a key at the top right to mute it is yellow lights up and sounds off. When I click on this button to new sound restores.

If I've close the player and opened it again - now I have no sound. And now when I press the button to turn off the sounds up right - it is now yellow lights and continue to shine white, but windows do on toggle the sound notification.

  I think that the problem in the driver.

  Also when I opened the DST Audio Control Panel, go to the 2nd tab and disable all the "healthy development" after laptop computer reboot that they automatically turn on again.

I also had HP tech check the. They both said that it was a hardware problem. I sent it to HP to fix it and they replaced the motherboard and said that they have tested. When I came back, it entered into mode 'sleep' again. I left my laptop for about 15 minutes and when I came back it was in mode 'sleep'. This always occurs after the laptop remained for about 15 minutes.

  Does anyone have a solution?

  I sent my laptop repair HP. They replaced some cables and motherboard, but it does not solve the problem. They finally replaced the Windows 7 operating system. Basically they gave me a new system. I spent 3 days to update windows with all the updates and then re-loading of my programs. What a mess!
