  Good afternoon

  Currently, I'm stumped on troubleshooting lights error code for a hp compaq cq62 customers. I tried the hard reset, the reinstallation of the memory and even plug the laptop directly into the wall instead of a surge protector with battery removed. I can't find any solution on the HP site or any other site of forum for this issue as to what a solid caps lock light and a solid orange light on the f12 key.

  Currently I think the customer may need a new back light system or a new processor. Before to come to this conclusion, I hope that there is a clear solution for my problem. Thank you for any assistance.

  I understand you are having problems starting your PC clients laptop Compaq CQ62.

  A single glance on the caps lock light usually means it is a failure of the CPU and requires a replacement of CPU or the motherboard.

  Also try to go through these documents to resolve startup problems:

  Computer does not start and the lights blink or the computer will beep.
  Troubleshooting of the black screens with no start-up or start-up error message.
  Tests of hardware failures (Windows 7, Vista) or hardware failures (Windows 8).

  You can tell if the backlight is the issue or start by plugging in a VGA monitor to see if the screen is displayed or not. If this is the case, you have on the laptop display problems. If it isn't, you're dealing with a problem of CPU, GPU or motherboard.

  Also, it would be useful to know what product and the operating system you are using. • Satellite Pro M70: "Caps lock" light will not stay

  After repairs to toshiba in my brand-new laptop pro M70 (System Board has been replaced) I noticed that the caps light does not work when the caps is on. The bulb works as it lights up when you press the caps, but there are not on.
  Although the installation of ceiling works I don't know when the caps lock button is enabled or disabled. Very confusing.

  Any help is greatly appreciated. I am running MS windows XP pro.

  You suggested that this light doesn t work since the replacement of the motherboard.
  Am I wrong? In my opinion this is something mechanically. Can not solve yourself.
  In this case I recommend to contact the ASP again and explain the situation. Generally, the warranty should cover the repair procedure.

  Thank you for your response.

  If you do a search on the web there are videos on the removal and cleaning of the keys on the keyboard.

  There are also several YouTube videos if you want to view.

  If you are unable to solve the problem and it's a question of physics with the keyboard you can replace.

  If you see the maintenance guide and maintenance for your laptop (if available), you can get part numbers and instructions for replaceable parts by the customer to do an auto repair.

  I would need the exact model of the HP Envy to get the interview guide.

  If you should be in warranty please contact HP support for service options.  If you are out of warranty you can also try a local computer repair shop.

• Light of CAPS LOCK does not work

  Hello dear guys,

  Had a problem today - some keys on the keyboard do not work properly.

  I opened the hood of the laptop (Pavilion G6 2241sa) and saw that the keyboard cable was loose. I reconnected properly, closed the lid and turned on the laptop. Now, all the keys work well, BUT the CAps Lock light doesn't work well. Key works, but when I press on it - will light, but as soon as I release the button - the light turns off. Light is not. Also, when the real function of the caps lock is on, when I press another button, the light on the surface of the NumLock key but it is dim.

  I recheched cable keyboard again - everything is fine, but seeing locking caps does not stay when you press.

  I don't practice typing for the last 3 months for a few hours a day, so I guess that it also affects the life expectancy of my keyboard.

  Thank you for your response. But the General solutions do not work here, I'm afraid.

  My inner voice tells me that it is the problem of specif inside wiring that cannot be fixed, perhaps only by the replacement of the entire keyboard or keyboard cable.

  I appreciated your help in any case. My keyboard works, light Verr Maj is not so important, that's why I will end this matter as resolved. Cheers, lives

  What is the caps lock light flashes four times then stopping average. I have a HP Pavilion UD7-1243d. The computer will not continue to start and the screen remains black. I only tried a hard reset at this point.

  You can try a reset adifficiles - remove the battery and AC adptor - hold power for 20 seconds - release and then reinsert the battery and AC and try again.

• Cap lock key disappeared on screen

  I have a Gateway Laptop NV35A52U with win 7. Once, my cap lock had a display on screen but just seems to have disappeared. I have read where others have this problem and the response indicates the control panel settings then touch.  Like many others, I don't see the key parameters.   I see that you do not get the caps lock light on the screen. I'll help you with this problem.

  1. have you made changes on the computer recently?

  2. What is the brand and model of the keyboard?

  Method 1.

  Plug the keyboard into another computer and check.

  Method 2.

  Connect another keyboard in this computer and check.

  Method 3.

  Start the computer in safe mode and check if that helps.

  If the problem does not occur in safe mode, then proceed to clean boot state.

  You shouldn't need to disable the power management software, but simply adjust to where it is not longer Hibernate.  Take a look at this document, which should help.

  I have a laptop hp pavilion 2237nr PC g6, and recently the caps light lock began to blink continuously. It stops for awhile but then it starts up again. my laptop seems to work fine but I am very concerned about the blinking light. Please help I am panicking!
