  Most likely, the images are 16-bit/channel.

  Go to Image > Mode and click on 8-bit/channel and see if that solves the problem.

  It seems that the read/write on the printer attribute must be changed.  Use the following steps to change the read/write attribute:

  1. Make sure that the machine is turned on
  2. Press the Setup> button.
  3. Use of the the button to select [ device settings], then press the button.

  Your LR6 has a more current to develop engine than SP6. You need to update the plugin Camera Raw for PS. install plug in Camera Raw

  It is difficult for me to tell from the screenshots, but it looks like the first image, there is a slight shadow. Please see if this hits the mark: How to edit text with a shadow without distorting?

  In any case, since you have so much text to change, I would actually make this change in the source document (if you can get that). Otherwise, you can export your Acrobat of PDF into a Word document (file > save as other > Microsoft Word > Word Document), clean it in Word, and then recreate the PDF file.

  Look in the library, Audio file. It has a generic name, but you can rename it.

• [Captivate 8] HTML5 Publishing - first slide shows locally but not on test server

  Hi all

  The Question

  Anyone running in this number of the first slide shows on HTML5 (or SWF) until you open the table of contents and select the recalcitrant zipper and then it shows (and works) very well? Not on project load, just at the time when it is selected.

  Description

  I use only 8 Captivate for a short period of time, and I ran face first in a bit of a bigger obstacle than I expected. At the present time, I have a simple linear Captivate project containing essentially a Powerpoint (customer specified). Everything worked fine until I tried a preview of HTML 5 to 8 Captivate and first slide does not show. After that some research my solutions to the problems that I encountered were to:

  • Local preview sometimes causes a glitch. Solution: Publish locally and (pre) discovers the result. It did not work.
  • Group all the objects on the first slide, and then attach the Show action to this group. This corrects the problem.

  After that I published on a host server (server test for the moment, but in the end, it will be the direct dev server). I met the same problem, so:

  • Tried the Group thing, above. No joy.
  • Open the table of contents and navigated to other slides. None of the buttons (previous slide, next slide) worked.
  • Renamed the "Mouse.mp3" to remove that annoying click. Result: All buttons worked on the project, but the first slide showed (grouped or another).
  • Removed all the objects on the slide of the slide. No joy.
  • Removed the button (action: next slide) and reduces the time of reading of the slide to 5 seconds so that the blade will play during the loading, then just go to the next slide. No joy.
  • This SWF and HTML 5 publication tried.
  • All this with only tried SWF.

  Again, when I open the table of contents and go to the first slide ("Page title") the blank slide that is filled only by lonely borders becomes the title slide, as it should. Furthermore, glimpse local file (\project\index.htm) works very well.

  Of course, Miss something. It's probably something incredibly obvious, so I thank you for your patience.

  I've created a little demo that had a FMR slide in it.  The published final result must be available for the computer laptop and iPAD.  When I published to SWF/HTML5 and hosted on a web server, the demo worked fine (SWF version).  However for HTML5 demo worked well, with the exception of the slide FMR who plays at all and just had a loading message which remained on screen.  After reading this and other forums and google, I replaced the FMR slide with a slide CPVC still to SWF/HTML5 and edited tested but have the same result of loading for HTML5 output message.

  Anyone has any ideas how to fix?

  Hmmm, I'm especially successful when a dia FMR does not play by replacing it with a CPVC-slide (which is output to MP4, H264, which is compatible with HTML). How did you test: try to publish and upload to a Web server.

• Captivate 9 - 'on output - jump slide"works not

  I recently upgraded to 9 Captivate and I converted an old Captivate file to the new version of Captivate 9.  Some of the blades, I have all the actions for the slide 'out', 'jump to slide.  Unfortunately, the blade is not jumping to any other slide; It continues to the next slide, as if there was no set of scripts.  I tried to remove the slides, adding new slides, update the existing slides and still the "output on", "go to slide" does not work.

  Does anyone has an idea about this or can be recreated to see if it works for you?

  I just tested the Cp9 on a new project and it works very well, even though I agree with Lilybiri that aid on the output isn't usually the best way to go.

  Could you please try test of a new created in Cp9 project to see if the problem exists?  Maybe it's that you have found a bug that only occurs in old projects upgraded to Cp9.

  I created demos of software simulation with text-to-speech voices in Captivate 5.5 on Windows 7.  Recently, on the one hand projects, I replaced the text-to-speech by importing audio files to MP3 successfully. Whie repeating the same effort in another project, Captivate crashed.  This behavior is true in all new and existing projects to import everything or modification of audio data. Captivate freezes in the following circumstances:

  1.

  Open a new/existing project.

  Import audio to the slide - mp3. The file is imported successfully.

  The Captivate is suspended shortly after importation.

  2.

  Open a new/existing project.

  Import audio to the slide - mp3. The file is imported successfully.

  Save the file and continue working with the application.

  Click Edit Audio option in the properties. The grip of Captivate.

  Note: By clicking on the option Delete Audio in properties is running without any problems.

  3.

  Open an existing project.

  Select audio for a slide, and then click Edit Audio

  The grip of Captivate.

  Has anyone ran into similar problems? Help, please.

  Rodward thanks for your reply. I found the solution to search the forum Archives. [I just renamed my preferences directory in C:\Users\[user name] record Captivate 5.5 \AppData\Local\Adobe\Adobe. That fixed the problem.

  I have a course with multiple files in the tree. Captivate times as its content only to fines, and it triggers the following file, after studying all the slides view (s).   Maybe turned on bookmarking and LMS works this way in this case. Check Quiz preferences, the LMS customization settings. Try to check the option "never send RESUME data" and publish again.
