  I apologize if I chose the wrong forum for this.    HP Pavilion P6610f Windows 7 family Ed Office.  Internet Wi - Fi of 64-bit (Qwest DSL) middle of experience in technical (I think).  Windows Defender No Windows Live Security Essentials yet, (oops!)  When I signed out of AOL and returned to my desktop, the taskbar, start icon and menu start would not appear.  I tried CTRL + ALT DELETE, to try to find out if a program is interfering, (nothing was running) could not arrested except to do it manually, so I did and pressed conitnually f8 when starting upwards.  I tried 'last best configuration' (did not help) went to HP Support Assistant, ((Heureusement, la barre de HP advisor était en haut de mon écran de bureau) I tried all diagnostic & troubleshooting steps HP Support Assistant.) When I tried to go to Windows Explorer from there, or attempted to open the configuration of my system, he kept saying that the (HAPSLC) (or something close) leave work and he wanted to know why, but never did. I tried it 4 times.  I was hoping to reset back a few days but could not find a way to access this page. Scared to try something else. I did a factory reset on September 1, 2012. Have a record of system repair that was made in may 2012. I think that Windows was the installation of the updates at the time wherever I discovered that these things were not working.  You have any advice would be greatly appreciated.   After having pulled up the Task Manager, the problems stopped. but after awhile it started to come back again so I rebooted the Task Manager and it stopped again, but evertime I've done it time that the problems went got short, and now it doesn't work at all.
  -Pulled up the Task Manager and any suspect google looking for background programs (that didn't increase much info, because I have very little knowledge of what the substantive programmes should and should not work.)
  -Looked around, this site (found nothing)
  -Used A Windows virus scan and it have nothing.

  Trial of runing the CS6 on a Windows 7 laptop (x 64). I was in Photoshop (64) and noticed that when I pressed the space bar for the open image panorama, would show the hand icon, but the tool will not work. No matter how many times I click and drag, the image remains. If I select MANUALLY select the hand tool, it works, but the SPACEBAR shortcut key does not work. This problem persists through the 32 & 64 bit versions of Photoshop.

  Now, it's embarrassing confession time. I did more tests and found that the problem has persisted through various Adobe Applications. So I started looking for the causes of the problem with my system and noticed that TouchFreeze, a utility to disable the trackpad of mobile during the seizure to prevent the cursor jump around the screen of the Palm of your hand, was running (I only turn it on when I went to type extended). And, as soon as I left it, the space key hand tool shortcut has started working again. I use a wireless USB mouse &, so I do not know why the conflict occurred. Guess on some small level, the two could not agree.

  I am concerned when I saw many similar messages from the forum as paulburd, which dates back to earlier versions of CS. Hope he and others manage to find other easy patches - I feel like I got lucky.

  I'm a novice user, today, this is the 3rd time I even worked in Dreamweaver... I usually use Frontpage 2000 up to present a quite a change for me. < :)

  I do a simple gallery with thumbnails and wanted the full image view to load into a custom size windows. I used the "onclick" and behavior 'open the browser window' for each thumbnail and it previewed in IE and Safari. Windows have been great, but I noticed that the standard arrow pointer appears on the labels, even if they are links to full images... so nobody would they are clickable. : /

  Is it possible in Dreamweaver CS4 to get the cursor changes shape 'hand' indicated he is a link? I guess it's maybe something to do with a trigger "on mouseover" on the thumbnail, but I see nothing on the sliders.

  Probably, the hand cursor does not appear because you did not apply the behavior to the anchor tag. Anchor points are what cause the browser displays the hand cursor.

  Before applying the behavior of the image, link to the file that you want to display by using the Connector tool. Then apply the open browser window behavior. You will then need to modify it slightly by adding «;» return false;' so that the main window of only reloads the new page. For example:

  You can create shortcuts to your favorite in the Favorites web pages and the favicons will be there. Or you can create a favorite on a link bar in Internet explore and that display the "logo".

  The problem you are having is a common one in terms of URL shortcuts are considered. When you create a shortcut to a Web site, or add to Favorites IE, Internet Explorer downloads a file icon named "favicon.ico" from the Web site. This is the icon file that contains the icon that see you on your shortcuts.

  Windows Vista does not support customization of shortcut icons Internet Explorer on the desktop other than the steps in my previous post. These 'logo' to mark specific icons are called the favicons. Favicons do not appear on the default desktop shortcuts in Vista. If the favicon doesn't exist for your shortcut that will be located in the temporary Internet files. If you can find it there when you browse after step 2 of my previous post, you can use it. If it isn't there, using another icon, is your only choice.

  Internet Explorer stores the favicon file in the folder Temporary Internet Files itself. This means that whenever you clear your temporary internet files, or after a defined number of days when IE erases the file icon file is lost. Accordingly, because Windows is no longer able to find customized icons for Web sites, it is the icon of Internet Explorer by default.
