Why then! t I live capture nikon d500 on lightroom.

Is this a relatively new release of the camera? It is not on the list of supported models. You may need to wait for the next update of LR.

    Pretentious salvation,

If you're on the latest version of MAC, Nikon is not attached with Lightroom.

  • D810 Captive Capture

Could someone please help before I go out my hair

I've never done captive capture before but I have a shoot coming at the end of the month where I have to shoot captive.

I have a D810 with 15 ft Teather Pro USB 3.0 cable connected to a MacBook Pro under OS X El Capitan and Lightroom CC.

Before moving to Lightroom CC (today), I had LR5.7 that was supposed to support captive capture with the D810.  However, lightroom could not / would not detect the camera.   I contacted Adobe who advised the upgrade to LRCC that supported this captive capture with the D810.  However, Lightroom, for reasons unbeknownst to me, seems to refuse to recognize the camera.  I tried a number of different methods of connection and turn it on, but nothing seems to work.

I saw the link Adobe captive troubleshooting online for capture, but nothing of what is described work or seems relevant to my particular problem, and to be honest, it seems outdated too.

Am I just being stupid and overlooking on something really simple or captive capture with CRD and Nikon D810 just doesn't.

All the answers, including the parameters of the camera that I could be on would be greatly appreciated before that I find myself completely bald...!

    Thank you

  • The update to Aperture RAW Nikon D500 6.06 to 6.19 (support) 3.6

    Hello everyone

I am running Yosemite 10.10.5 (see below for details) and it's probably time that update to Capitan!

He had just bought a Nikon D500, I realized that my version (3.6 - RAW 6.06, BUILD 819,4 / DCR-6060-194, 4 does NOT work with its raw).

Searching on the net, a photographer friend of mine (he doesn't have a DCR Capitan AND openness RAW 6.19 3.6, build 844.1, 6190 - 221.1) is able to open and work with D500 naves, but I can't find any way to do this minor update in Aperture or the Apple Store, or anywhere else.

I am reluctant to use Photos that seems much less powerful than the opening, at least on paper. Is it possible to upgrade? I think in a way, he got a notification update of its opening was lower to 6.19... None?

I forgot to mention, I also found this thread , but since I'm downloading El Capitan, I fear little to do this operation at the same time, I might end up screwing up everything.

  • CC of Lightroom update fails, iOs 10.11.6.  Problem importing raw Nikon D500

CRD won't let me import my new Nikon D500 camera raw (NEF) files.  When I select the folder where the files are, it is said that the previews are not available.  If I hit the "import" button, I get the following popup - results of import.  Some import operations were not performed.  The file is not recognized by the support of raw in lightroom, then the file number. NAVE.

When I go to Adobe Application Manager and try to update creative cloud (Photoshop and LR) the update of photoshop downloads successfully, but update to LR fails.  I get the following message - impossible to extract the downloaded files.  Press Retry to download again.  I hit try again dozens of times and each time it fails just after reaching 50%.

In reviewing comments/responses to this question in the old posts, I tried the following suggested solutions with no luck:

I downloaded the latest update via updates of product, open the disk image, open the folder/packages, find all .dmg files in the packages, open, then clicked and installed the update of the installer.  The result is the same, no preview and will not import NEF files.

I click on Option/Go in the Finder, choose the folder library/application Support/Adobe/AMMUpdater, then deleted the 1.0 file open Adobe Application Manager again through the update of the LR process.  He is still unable to download.

I also read a post you need to remove the 1.0 folder by following the above process for computer/library... and the users/user/library..., but I have no idea how to do to access any other library folder on my iMac than I find by pressing Option/Go in the Finder, and then by selecting the folder library/application Support/Adobe/AMMUpdater.

    I have 2 questions-

    1. can you give me the solution to fix this in simple, easy to understand language that one business savvy tech like me can understand?

    2. If not, can someone tell me how I can talk to a real life person of adobe support who can guide me through the process of solving this problem?

It's extremely frustrating to say the least!

The D500 requires Lightroom CC 2015.5 or later version.

Try to download and install the latest update (2015.6.1) from here: keeping up-to-date for Lightroom

  • NEF in Nikon D500 files

I have an old version of Lightroom, which is no longer opens files NEF in Nikon D500. I wanted to buy Lightroom CC but by installing the trial version cannot open files even with it. There is the possibility to open these files?

You must upgrade your Lightroom CC to Lightroom CC 2015.5 or later to be able to open these files NAVE. Use the links to keep updated of Lightroom to do the upgrade.

  • Nikon D500

Can I upload photos directly from my Nikon D500 in Lightroom? I work on a Mac with OS X Yosemite desktop, version 10.10.5. 13 items does not recognize my new camera and thinking about upgrading to creative cloud.

2015.5 CC LR, LR 6.5 or the Camera Raw plugin 9.5 or newer (CC 2015.6 LR, LR 6.6 and 9.6 ACR were just released yesterday) is needed to treat the camera raw files.   14 may be able to be updated to ACR 9.5 or newer, but sometimes this time of year PSE ceases to make the updates so I'm not sure.

LR can generally upload photos of any cameras, it supports raw files, but sometimes things in the way, other programs, OS drivers, etc, so without testing this camera-OS combination, I can't say for sure.  You should be able to remove the camera memory card and put it in a card reader and have LR read photos on the map even if the connection to a camera on a cable does not work for some strange reason.  A card reader is usually best, anyway, because they are generally faster, and you don't wear the camera USB connection every time unload you.

If you haven't tried it yet, then download and install LR CC and see if it works, assuming you already have the camera.  The trial period can not 30 7 days, as it used to be, then don't start the trial period by installing and using LR until you are ready.

The Plan of the photograph is $ 120 / year, charged 10 $par month and includes both LR and Psalm

  • Nikon D500 NAVE High ISO NR problem with the LR [double wire: locked]

    Hello

    My setup is D500 (firmware: C1.01, LD2.013) + LR v6.51.

I pulled two photos of test ISO = 25600. One with NR off and a NR = norm. Of the LCD screen, I can say that each NR is noisier.

Guess what? previews of these two files are the same in LR, i.e., both are very loud. The output files JPEG (with the default expansion parameter and no reduction of noise in LR) are also very loud. Two 10 MB JPEG files are only 2 bytes off the coast!

However, using Irfanview 4.35 directly display both files NAVE works as expected. In other words, the NR = norm is cleaner.

Obviously, LR v6.51 ignores parameter NR of D500.

    If anyone can check this?

    Thank you!

    Steve
