  I would firstly like to thank you for answering my question. My camcorder is canon hv20 PAL. When I look at the setting of the project, it's HDV 1080i 25 frames per second anamorphic. Duration of the timeline is 56 minutes. I'm sorry about misinformation in an adobe forum. Yes you are right this is not MPEG 1440x1080i 24. I chose MPEG and choose MPEG2 1440x1080i 25 and it convert .m2v file. I couldn't see because Windows media player does not open the m2v files, but I didn't do anything about in order to open the file. I want to learn: my initial project captured is 11.2 GB. But shows on screen m2v files is about 21000 MB. This means that 20 GB! It is same quality my project captured MPEG) and Cup project m2v? What is another way to export? I'm sorry that even once it does not error message about the m2v files. I think I got confused, I think when I chose MPEG, 25 HDTV high quality, I saw the error message but I don't know what is the error message.

  My system is not allowing me to capture images.  It usually indicates that the device is in offline mode.  Sometimes it will show and let me put in images, although this is very irratic.  I've never been able to be able to control the device through the creation, or any other program.  However, my computer does not read the read-out unit.  I'm trying to use my XL2 via firewire to bring in the images.  What I am doing wrong?

  I do not erase the cards immediately after the transfer of photos to my computer.   Photos will use the time current system as the time to interpret the timestamp on the pictures in the camera.

  If the camera time is different from the time of your system, it makes it easy to import, if you set the area of working time in the preferences system at the same time basis as the camera before importing new photos.

  .NET examples come with our vision acquisition software, but you must specify that you want the samples installed during installation.  Usually this option is automatically selected if the installer can see that you have already installed the development environment.  In order to install the NOR-IMAQdx and other examples of image acquisition driver, you will have to repair/installation of the software, then select examples to install.  First you must go to the Windows Control Panel-> programs and features:

  I'm working on a VI to control a firewire camera. I am currently using a while loop with a structure of the event control functions of cameras inside. I also want the camera to start recording images in a folder when a button is pressed and stopped when you press a stop button. I wasn't able to get this feature in the original everything in a loop, but I added another while loop, but it does not work. I've attached an example where the first while loop is simplified (it contains only a displayvideoproperties node) to my real VI the first while loop has about 10-15 different cases for different functions as digital subtraction, triggers, etc... How can I get these parallel while loops to work together or how could I get the second while loop in the first?

  You need to change your code.

  1. use a unique Structure of the event.  One of the top loop will do.  You should have all the events of the user in the same Structure of the event (you can have more than 1).

  2 remove the left lower corner of the Structure of the event.

  3. low While loop must contain a State Machine.  In this particular case, I would spend the Structure of event reports the State using an ActionEngine (or functional Global Variable) machine.  In this way, your While loop bottom could continue to loop through the same State and continue to update the image control, image capture, etc..  There are other ways, but this one is probably the simplest.

  4. the Summit would deal with the imposing of the event: control of the functions of the unit, start recording, stop recording, save to file, stop/exit program.

  I'm taking a laptop that I have on my desk and it captures is currently running 'C:', which I can deploy it to 20 laptops more.

  I did the Audit mode and install and uninstalled the software required for the business and also have SysPreped machine use OOBE.

  I am approving the device sideways server so that I can do the live image capture and put it in the storage of images on the server to deploy on.  I get the same error when I try to join and approve this device on the server.

  Hi, I have a problem... I hope that it is easy to solve.

  I did a VI using enter IMAQdx so that I can acquire images from a USB camera and record a video. It works great and I acquire and store the video. The problem is that when I try to do this as a Subvi VI it does not work. For the Subvi I use a terminal to display the images. When I run the program I do not see any image (all of the images because I use grab and looks like a video), but it seems that woks of Subvi because when I open the file where the video was recorded, the video is there but I can't see at the moment on the front panel...

  Your main vi will not update the image that you acquire in the sub vi because you will perform your sub vi inside a loop (I guess). What you can do is to create a global variable of indicator to display Image and update the indicator inside the Sub vi. In the main vi create another loop while and read the global variable and display it in the main vi. Need a better solution? Please your postal code.

  OK, but I am not able to understand at all, please help me:

  2) is better if I'm going to tilt upward or toward the bottom of the camera on the tripod or it's better picking upwards or downwards the tripod bar?

  (3) if it is better to do a combination of tild and rotate and move the camera how do I know the optimal combination?

  I don't know which is technically great, but there is a practical convenience aspect here, as well.

  In my experiences with it, I moved physically the tripod in the direction of left and right and then refocused the camera vertically as required in order to put the target in the desired part of the image. I was happy with the results, although I did no comparative study deep.

  IMO what technique allows you to perform a sufficient variety of acquisitions reasonably attentive, without being too difficult, and who does not renounce the analysis tool, will probably be good enough.
