card memory sd 1 GB on the Tungsten E2

Anyone know why my Dane-elec 1 GB sd memory card does not work on my e2 tunsgten? I tried soft and hard reset but the palm still does not recognize the card. The power lights when the Palm is off if I insert the card, but it is said that there is no card inserted. What should I do? Does it matter what brand sd card I use? Please let me know. Thank you

I figured out. It was really bad cards I had. They were tag 1 GB, but both were in fact of 2 GB, which does not work on a tungsten e2. A Kingston 1 GB and they work fine.

  • deficit of memory on the Tungsten E2

I used a tungsten for Epocrates medical software for several years with no problems. It recently fried and I bought Tungsten E2, but cannot successfully download Epocrates on it due to lack of memory. I deleted all the old entries in calendar, bare-boned the Epocrates download and use absolutely nothing else on this PDA. If I use a memory expansion card, the Epocrates transfers to it but it runs too slow to be of any use. Are passed by the library of knowledge several times. Did the hard reset 3 times. Epocrates will not help cos they say their program is very good for my PDA.

I am tech challenged and cannot understand this.

Please help and also, keep in mind that I do not understand the tech terminology.

  • Upgrade memory, video cards, flash drives? What is the best?

I have a Toshiba Satellite L305 - S5957 bitb with Windows 7 32. I have a lot of downloaded games I play and my computer and he slowed down a lot. How do I p [ay my games and still have enough memory to my computer run?] Here's what I spent my system for graphics.

    Hi Luggiana,

your laptop is not a true "game system.

    (1) a graphics integrated solution as "Mobile Intel (r) 4 Series Express Chipset Family" is not sufficient for most 3D games. They can work but slowly and far from that possible framerates.

    (2) for most of the games, "available total graphics memory" is a phantom value. The only thing that matters is "dedicated graphics memory. In your case, which is 128 MB. Not bad for older games (2000-2006), but certainly too little for newer games (> 2006). Some games will not work with less than 256/512/1024 MB "dedicated RAM".

    (3) "computer memory" is a minor problem here. The 'shared RAM' will cut certainly some amount of your available RAM total but it won't help in problem gambling, and it is rare to play a game while performing other tasks consuming memory.

    (4) put the games to a flash (SSD) drive is also a strange idea. You will get more benefits if you put your operating system (Windows) on this subject. The operating system must respond to all the interventions of the user and program requests, here the speed is an issue. A game, on the other hand, follows its routines, it must store temporary data much, so relying on a certain minimum of RAM but things like quick / fast writes are not so important.

  • Resolution is dependent on the video graphics card memory?

Resolution is dependent on the video graphics card memory? If that's true then how much resolution a 2 GB card can support? I mean on what map I'll be able to run a game like 'NFS RUN' on a resolution higher, if I have 2 cards with the same specifications but difference is 1 GB and 2 GB, I don't speak of GDDR3 128 bit NVDI GT 440. ?

Resolution is dependent on the GPU, and not on the installed memory. The memory will help the screen refresh more quickly, and video help in smoother race.

    According to the specs here:

    http://www.GeForce.com/hardware/desktop-GPUs/GeForce-gt-440-channel/specifications

You should be able to get a maximum digital resolution of 2560 x 1600 and an analog-resolution 2048 x 1536 (VGA). This assumes of course that your monitor will be very high. The highest card ira is limited by the capabilities of the monitor also.

Thus, the memory card more than video, that you, smooth graphics should work, but it will have no effect on the resolution.

  • ya need to ready boost like thing for the video card memory

an if there are something like that out there... where?

I have the alienware i7 - up to 3.5 Ghz with 16 GB of RAM and 80 GB SSD. The laptop is fast enough.  But I still wanted to make it faster. So, I use card memory 32 GB as a readyboost. I found that speed up really. Before using readyboost, it is best to ensure a speed reading / writing of USB or the memory card is high, otherwise you will have not the advantage of readyboost because the bottleneck of folklore.

In my case, I used the class 10 SDHC memory card for my readyboost. The memory card is still able to take 3D videos and capable of storing video shooting 3D. My conclusion is don't blame the blessing of readyboost, just you have to find the right type of memory/USB with your existing laptop / computer.

Use readyboost and enjoy the best performance

  • HP Pavilion 500 - 200 t: card memory HP Pavilion 500-200 t and upgrade information

I'm about to take my 10 GB of RAM RAM 16 GB of RAM and 500-200 t has only two slots for memory card. When I replace (2 x 8 GB cards) I have two 5 GB cards flying over. I need to know the exact left specifications more cards? I want to put the card in my Dell XPS 8500 4slot who has already 2 x 4 GB cards in there. And the specifications on Dell cards are cards of DDR3 1600 MHz. Can someone tell me the specs on the HP 500-200 t maps?

Please see the specifications of the product HP Pavilion 500-200 t and configurable Options page for the information you request. Based on the specifications, the factory in your computer memory should be 10 GB (1 x 2 GB, 1 x 8 GB) DDR3 PC3-12800. The speed is DDR3 - 1600 MHz. The size is a guess based on your statement "I'll have two 5 GB cards flying." Memory is available in sizes based on the binary progression... example... 1 GB, 2 GB, 4 GB, 8 GB, 16 GB, etc. There is no such thing as a 5-GB card.

As to put in your Dell... it may or may not work depending on the latency and/or refresh, or if it is dual channel.

Suggestions or quick solutions is useful

    Hello

I really put t believe Toshiba has tested this slots with adapters with the supported cards.

If you can not read other cards as well try to restore the system to an earlier time using System Restore utility. In this way it is not possible to give a precise answer because who knows what did you and try with your unit and this adapter (maybe installed a driver).

There is no quick fix for some issues. ;)

  • Satellite L555 - 10 M graphics card memory

    Hello
I bought the Satellite L555 - 10 M mobile a few weeks previously. the product describtion says that the graphics card has 1024 MB memory and it can also use RAM. Now, I noticed that it uses 1768 mb of RAM, but for me the 1024 MB of memory are sufficient. So, how can I change the graphic card memory settings?

    Thanks for all answers

    Hi mate

It seems that you have no idea how to work things together.
The graphics card sharing memory automatically! Everything is controlled by the graphics driver.
If the graphic needs of memory then the driver could affect the value and would take a part of the main memory automatically!
It is not a switch not an option that could be used to change this value.

So if you ask this-> + why buy a laptop with 4 GB of ram so I can not us it? +
I have to say; Show me a mobile graphics card that doesn t share memory?

  • Replace the video card on Pavilion m9450f - what "s the orphan?

It probably doesn't matter, except that it is driving me crazy.  I just replaced the graphics card on a m9450f.  The original was a GeForce NVidia 9800 GT with 512 MB of memory, I do not know the manufacturer.  The other, a PNY NVidia Geforce GTX 550Ti jumped to the (yay for empty arrays!) and seems to work very well.

Here's the thing.  The old card, in addition to the connection of normal PIN on the bottom and the normal power at the end of the map, a connection two sons near the front of the card on the side not pinned. A twisted pair red and black fell from there on the edge of the motherboard.  I'm unable to find information on what connection did and why he didn't need to do this on the map again, more powerful. I feel that my IKEA futon will collapse because of the surplus allen screw when I finished editing.

    Can anyone help?

    Hello

The two sons who came from the card would the SPDIF header on the edge of the motherboard.  This allows the motherboard route audio digital HDMI video cards that do not accept no digital audio via the PCI-E slot.

  • Card memory ThinkPad E540. Which one to buy?

    Hello!

    I am owner of a 00HFR of 20 6 E540 which came with a card memory made by Samsung (4 GB) (4 GB 1R8PC3L - 12800 S-11-13-B4 M471B5173 EB0 YKO 1432 says on the label)

I would like to increase the amount of available memory, but the cheapest way. So I have a couple of options if I'm not mistaken:

Buy a 4GB module pair with the existing, for a total of 8 GB.

Buy a module of 8 GB for a total of 12 GB.

If I'm not mistakent, the option are possible, but the 8 G module will be less good preformance over the same module size in both slots.

    I have a few questions:

Which module should I buy: Corsair, Crucial, Kingston, G. Skill? (Here is the brand my dealer sells)

I would be very happy to get a P/N for options 4 and 8 GB.

Thank you very much in advance for your help and response.

I'd say go with the configuration 4 + 8GB. Any generic 8 GB DDR3L 12800 S should work (avoid even if Corsair; there were a few problems with it and ThinkPads in the past).
