• Update Menu or menu items

  Hello.

  I can't change the behavior of the menu items.

  I first create a menu with menu items x.

  Later, on a particular event, I want to change a menu item n or (as a backup) I can recreate the whole menu with a new set of menu items.

  What I've tried is to use Menu.deleteAll () and Menu.deleteItem (int n) and both fail to remove a menu item.

  I then thought, ok, maybe that I can not change already created a menu/menu items. Maybe it's only available in makeMenu (although I have not found any such instructions). But! If I add a menu item to the menu even (even after deletion methods) the menu item gets on the menu and is displayed correctly.

  Maybe we can add but can not remove existing menu items?

  Now, what happens?

  All I want to do is change a legend menuItem and its run() method (i.e., replace an existing menuItem).

  Anyone have any ideas?

  My app has a lot of States, and in some States, some menu options should be withdrawn.

  It turns out that it is preferable to use MainScreen.removeMenuItem instead of Menu.DeleteAll ().

• I want to get rid of the Bing screen, but there is no "menu at the top of the Firefox window" for me "Select tools and then select the Add-ons menu item.

  Versions of Firefox 3.6 + have a feature to allow the user to hide the Menu bar.

  Press the Alt key to temporarily show the Menu bar, then open view > toolbars and select menu bar, so it has a check mark.
  
  The F10 can also be used on most PCs to temporarily reveal the menu bar.

• Menu items hang on the screen randomly

  I have a problem with my vista 64 machine.  The menu items to hang on the screen after being selected.  That one hangs at the time, and the same that one can suspend all day, or change at one point to the other.  As I type this "Explore" appears in a box in blue light on bottm left of the screen.  It's not too bad, sometimes a menu item will be suspended in the middle of the screen, and the only way to get rid of it is to reboot and hope that something less obnoxious block next time.  I've updated all my drivers, software and bios.  It is a processor I7 920 on Asus P6T motherboard with a nVidia 9800GT video card.

  Thank you for posting.  I just looked into your question and noticed that you are using a videocard of Nvidia desktop/game.  The combination that the nvidia drivers have had some problems with Vista and this could be the root of your problem.  Video card manufacturers generally has really intend to their home desktop video cards to use in the environment of heavy graphics CAD and 3D modeling software.  Another note, it's that both your processor manufacturer and card mother manufacter have compatibility problems between their product lines, then you want to check possible BIOS updates for your motherboard.  Nephilum i7 is a very recent product range and could have issues as well unknown.  In the last year or more, I noticed an increase in stability problems when they are used together.

  What you see is the expected behavior.  The ApplicationMenuItem runs in a different process where your application was run.  You have two options.

  You can store the subject of the Message in the RuntimeStore when the ApplicationMenuItem is called.  Your application you are undertaking could then read the subject of the Message of the RuntimeStore.

• Problem with VGA card after Windows Update

  Hi all.

  Today I start to address a problem with me second VGA card (Matrox G200 G2 + / QUADP-PL/7) after a yesterday updated windows.
  I am able to see the other 4 monitors, but with a yellow triangle.

  This problem may occur if the VGA card drivers are updated after the installation of Windows updates. I suggest to follow the steps below and check to see if problem persists.

  1. Click Start and stop in the search box, type Device Manager.
  2. On top, on the start menu, click on "Device Manager".
  3. In "Device Manager", double click "Graphics card" expand. "."
  4. Click on "display Matrox G200 G2 + / QUADP-PL/7 ' and click 'properties '.
  5. In properties, click on the "Drivers" tab and check if the option 'Return to the version' is 'active '. If so click on "Roll back" to restore the previous version driver.

  DO NOT install Cuda, because there is not a single Mac Mini that has a compatible card NVIDIA CUDA. Installation of CUDA will be completely foul up your machine.

  Second, be careful the program names. You have opened the rendering engine of the effects after no After Effects. Looks like you're very new. Please, start here: basic workflow. If you do not take the time to go through basic training you'll be completely frustrated with AE and assume that it is working properly.

  Or you can have a collection of ArrayCollection which manipulate you using the methods in the ArrayCollection collection (addItem, removeItem, etc.), to have the correct items for the type of connection.  If your dataProvider is something that implements ICollectionView, mx:Menu listen to collection change events (CollectionEvents) and update the menu accordingly.

  You can also change the dataProvider.

• Messages arrive, but the "Inbox" or any other folder open even if the content still there (and almost all the menu items do not work)!

  Using last Thunderbird on Windows 7. Had problems with the operating system and had to use a system restore. When I opened TB, it displays the folders in the left pane, but the credits of "Thunderbird Mail-...» "and the 3 topics: E-mail; Accounts; and advanced features. None of the files would open. I used the "Search messages" function and has been able to show existing and new messages in the 'Inbox '. Also wanted to know if files are always in my 'profile'... and they were all there where they should be. (And almost all the menu items are disabled).
  I wonder if I need to reinstall Thunderbird... maybe the OS issues this morning - and restore - have corrupted or damaged key elements of the program?

  System Restore is not always a very good thing for applications.

  Reinstall is unlikely to help. But if your accounts are all imap and that you do not have a lot of other data (address book, for example) in Thunderbird, you could start from scratch.

  But before that, you should try Thunderbird started in SafeMode https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/safe-mode-thunderbird

• After a recent update, the bookmarks menu has an extra folder called "All bookmarks" which seems to be a copy of the bookmarks. It is at the origin of the problems and how to fix it?

When I try to add a new bookmark, all bookmarks folder is the one indicated in the dialog box.   Window "Ready to Install" Firefox "Software Update" appeared. The folder "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\updates\0" contained the files update.mar, update.status and update.version. Each of the 3 files have been deleted. The next time that Firefox has been started, no update occurred because update files were missing. In the Menu bar, clicking Help showed in the menu drop-down that "apply downloaded update now" was always on the list. By clicking on "Apply downloaded update now" open "Software Update" window "Ready to install update", so that Firefox still considers that the update files exist, but they do not. In the window "Software Update", by clicking on "Restart Firefox" restart of Firefox, but once again it there's no update, and remains "apply downloaded update now" on the Help menu. How can "Apply downloaded update now" be replaced by "Check for Updates" so the update files can be downloaded?

  You can manually reset the software update feature by closing Firefox and remove the file "updates" (which seems you have done) and the two files "active - update.xml" and "updates.xml" - these are in the installation (C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox) directory or in the profile folder (C:\Documents and Settings\nom_utilisateur\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\something.default).

• dynamically create and destroy the custom menu item

  I have a standard TestStand platform that I use on multiple systems.  On some systems, I have a few sequences of calibration and I would like to have the Update menu to have the RunSequence of these sequences of calibration.  I know how to manually create these menu items, but they are no longer valid for some sequence files.  I would use the sequence SequenceFileLoad to dynamically create menu items and the SequenceFileUnload to destroy these menu items.

  I've played around with the API, but cannot determine the correct path to get to the create and destroy the custom menu items.  Does anyone know how this can be done?

  Yes, see the online help for the members of the following APIs:

  EditTimeMenuItem

  Basically, you get a collection of tool using Engine.GetEditTimeToolMenuItems () menu items and then call EditTimeMenuItems.Insert () or EditTimeMenuItems.Remove (). If you insert a you get returns an EditTimeMenuItem object on which you can change the settings.

  In addition, since it has an expression to hide items in menu tool, you need not necessarily to destroy, you can hide them instead.

• Menu item "Available networks" appears not-Windows XP.

  After a few years of use, all of a sudden my wireless stop working. When I follow the instructions of Windows and go to control panel / connections network and Internet, Microsoft Help guidelines say connect to wireless network, under available networks, click the wireless network to which you want to connect.

  But there is not 'available networks' showing. There were once! I used it, the PC has hung up, I rebooted and that you have not been able to connect from.

  I looked for answers here and haven't seen those who specifically say that the menu item is not displayed.

  If you do not see the list of available networks, your wireless network card may be cut or broken.  Many laptops have a switch that turns off the wireless radio.  Maybe it's a physical switch or a key combination (e.g. Fn + F2).

  You have an external wireless adapter or one that is built into your computer?

  If it is external, what is its brand and model?

  If it is integrated, what is the brand and model of your computer?

  Open the Device Manager (start > run > devmgmt.msc > OK)
  Expand the network adapter category by clicking on the +.
  What is the name of your wireless adapter (make and model)?
  Right-click on the entry of your wireless adapter and select Properties
  What appears under the "device status"?
  What is stated under "use of the device?

  What version of Windows, including the service pack is installed? Do right click my computer and select Properties, if you do not know.
