  System Restore is not always a very good thing for applications.

  Reinstall is unlikely to help. But if your accounts are all imap and that you do not have a lot of other data (address book, for example) in Thunderbird, you could start from scratch.

  But before that, you should try Thunderbird started in SafeMode https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/safe-mode-thunderbird

• All the menu items disabled in the dialog box, very well in the palette

  I have to use a treeview in a palette and can add/remove columns with a right-click menu on the headers. This set works very well in a palette, but when I use the same treeview in a dialog (kDialogBoss), all the items are disabled. Even if I add the stock with "kAlwaysEnabled" they remain disabled. With "kCustomEnabling" "UpdateActionStates()" call is not made, but the path is very well. What can be the problem here? I couldn't find a sample menu in the dialog boxes.

• installed elements 14 on new pc using windows 10 and all the menu commands are grayed out.

  I can't change the preferences.

  I can't restore catalog etc etc.

  I then installed on the same pc 12 elements, and that's OK--that is of the menu commands everything works as expected

  This can happen if you are using the eLive currently.

  If you are in the Organizer, try clicking on the Media tab and if you are in the Photoshop elements Editor, click the Quick tab and see if it helps.

  Thanks Bob. I never knew what that was the real reason for the issue I described, but everything has been solved after a reset (trashed) my InDesign preferences in order to solve another problem.

  The following worked for me (of course, I had to put my custom again preferences):

  (Windows) Start InDesign and press Shift + Ctrl + Alt to a click of compounds Yes when asked if you want to delete preference files.

  (Mac OS) While pressing Shift + Option + command + control, start InDesign. When asked if you want to delete preference files, click Yes.

• In history more, many of my menu items are unavailable. Why?

  I am a member of the CC and history says 'Adobe Story PLUS' at the top. However, when I'm in the view creation and look in the file, editing, display, review, Production and add menus, many of these menu items are dimmed (unavailable). So, I can not add scenes, etc. For example,.

  for example features like Set/lists/actor, model, track changes, revisions etc Production work with film and TV scripts only.

  If you want to reproduce the plugin functionality of Stamper, copy the

  Plugin directory, then rename the project. I usually also rename all

  project files (making sure that they are always referenced by the project).

  Rename the name of the plugin and all global resources (for example all the menu items) by

  using your own prefix of developer. To find the items that need to be renamed,

  Search for ADBE in the project.

  This should create a new plug-in with the same functionality.

  Now that I see your code, it makes sense. The reason why it does not work the way you had it before, it is that you are actually getting an error when you run the application. The error is because not all of these menus actually exist in the runtime environment. Thus, the function to delete the Menu items generates an error, and the rest of the code is bypassed. The example removes simply all of the menus, and no error is generated, since only the menus that actually exist get deleted.

  If I run the present, select one or more cells, then right click to get the context menu, all context menu items to Clipboard (copy, paste etc.) are DISABLED. Why is this? More curiously, if I right click precisely between the lines - the items are suddenly turned on!

• No space under the menu item

  Looks like it was just a little minor additional coding. Remove the height of line here. Seems to fix for me.

• Missing the Menu item in the import Panel?

  I am using LR3 for over a year - last version 3.6. Without apparent reason, the menu item "Do the second copy" no longer displays in the import Panel. Imported files are copied to the specified location the last time that the item was available. I looked in all the panels help, but don "t find any way to disable the second copy function, or to manage the second copy function. I'm Mac 10.6.8.

  When you right-click on one of the headers Panel on the right side of the input dialogue, is "File management" checked? If not, click it or click "show all."
