Care function battery in HP?

Hello

I run my HP g002ax for several intensive tasks of performance on AC. Are there any other sw HP with the likes of battery care offered by Sony vaio function?

I don't want the battery 100% charged and still connected to the source as is afftect the battery life.

It is a silent since the Sony support site if you are not aware of what battery maintenance fn of sony's.

http://eSupport.Sony.com/Tutorial/572/BR/en/

I the fact manually by going to devc mgr/batteries/second option () / disable. But I find a lil odd and assume that it does not work either. Please help me in this regard.

Thank you.

I just HP AC power control utility. It was already there in the computer. Although he doesn't have the ability to set the threshold, and has limited control options, it does the job for the moment.

Thanks HP! Hope that the sw improves to include other features like adjustable threshold manually at a given time

    Hello!

I got a X230T replacement. Interesting thing, the battery specifications are different. There are still several Volt and Watt-values printed on them. Now I wonder which one would be the better one or if they are actually similar and calculations with Watt, volts and amps are just different. Battery 1 has been used for a year already, so I keep a new independently of its specifications?

  • Sony Vaio 13 Flip do not charge to 3%

    Hello

My Sony Vaio 13 SVF13N13CXB Flip will not charge when plugged in and remains at three percent. Battery icon says "plugged in, not charging."

Charge light amber does not illuminate during usage and only flashes for a moment when I hit the power button to turn the computer on or off.

Is there a boot program or process, that I have disabled potentially who charge controls of this laptop?

A few days ago I installed the Iolo System mechanic and he disable programs a bit, so I don't know if it's what he does. I've been through, and it's not like I've disabled something vital...

I have upgraded to Windows 10 in early November and there was no problems until a few days ago, so I do not think this update had no effect on the battery does not charge.

I also tried the care function battery in the Vaio Control Center without result - I turned on and after-hours care function to try to revive the battery charges and neither have worked.

I also disabled the computer and left it plugged in UAB and conversely the computer turned off and left unplugged overnight (this problem is ongoing since almost a week).

I tried to solve this problem in Vaio Care and who does not, I even reset my computer.

Is there a possibility of charge cable is defective and that's all that I have to correct, because that would be the simplest solution.

And if so, where I acquire one of these load of the cables since these laptops on is no longer on the market?

I hope this isn't my battery, aka, I hope I don't have to send for repair.

Any input or advice is much appreciated. Thank you for reading.

    RESOLVED:

I left my computer completely die in having not plugged and turn until he went into this weird reset mode where he was turning power on and off until he eventually just turned off for good. Then I plugged it it in and AHA! -the charging LED amber light turned on and the computer began to load. I think that the computer has become sensitive and he knew that he would die so he is healed itself to charge to stay alive (IE. He understood that I was killing and allowing it to become a brick, but it also has a will to live it fixed itself). I'm just glad, it doesn't have the arm and I worry about the internet connection because it can communicate with other sensitive machines and start to take over the world.

  • Satellite L850 - after 1 year of use battery runs out quickly

Hi, through programs such as care or battery battery I see a Toshiba Satellite L850 * 48% battery wear * currently. I notice that a game, the battery runs out quickly, as the warm up by many things and often descalibra and behaves erratically.

The laptop is a year old. Is it normal that the battery to wear so much in so little time?
Would you accept a warranty or replacement of the battery may claim the wear caused by improper use?

    http://img690.imageshack.us/img690/6976/4f7k.jpg

First, please note that the battery working time depends on the use of the laptop.
Running applications heavy performance as a game would drain the battery very quickly. Why? Because parties such as GPU and CPU and cooling to highest performance and this modules needs power.
Also using the laptop with higher brightness may drain the battery faster.

You should also know that each battery would start to loose own performance after about 500 charge cycles. This is nothing unusual and happens to all batteries.

In order to avoid or slow down this process, its recommended to calibrate the battery from time to time.
Calibration of means of loading and unloading the battery fully.
Charge the battery until it could be fully charged, then disconnect the power adapter and keep the battery discharge up to his completely empty. Repeat 2-3 times in the line.

  • Satellite A200: Should I remove the battery when working on the power supply

    Hello

I've been running an A200 machine for the last 2 months, bought as a desktop replacement in order to fit in my small apartment. I realize now that I never ued work on battery - it is always powered on sector. Since this is unlikely to change, should I remove the battery? Deing battery degrades remaining in the machine while it is continusouly by the industry feeding, or does it not matter?

Thank you very much in advance for your reviews.

    GW.

You can remove it, but it should not be done. For me, it's stupid to remove the battery and let the dust make the battery place dirty. The batteries we use today are very good and Scott wrote the electronic power supply just to check if the battery is full and care the battery and the battery capacity.

  • Battery related question CQ50 139WM

I have a CQ50 139WM and I was wondering how long am I suppose to charge the battery for it to be fully charged and its okay if I use my cell phone all the time on the Ac Adapter because Ihate the idea of having to use it on battery power unless I really need it.

    Hi ridz20,

I found this version of the service manual for the CQ50 online: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c01572022.pdf on page 10, it tells you the battery status light and various degrees in which he lights up (fully, blinking, off) [see the below pasted text]. Based on these descriptions (below), I would say your laptop is fully charged (for the 1st time and each subsequent charge period), once the battery light turns off. On a separate note, I have 2 personal and 1 laptop computer work, and I ALWAYS leave each of them connected to an external power source, unless I am traveling...

However, your post inspired me to dig a little deeper, and I came across this article as well: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c01297640. This article gives to think that if you go to work exclusively on sector more than two weeks, you can extend your battery life by removing it from the system for the use of exclusive output power. (See: 'Practical care recommended battery'.) I hope this information is useful!

    The battery light

    On: A battery is charging.

Flashing: A battery that is the source of power available only reached a low battery level. When the battery reaches a critical battery level, the battery light starts to Flash quickly.

Off: If the computer is connected to an external power source, the light is off when all the computer batteries are fully charged. If the computer is not plugged into an external power source, the led remains off until the battery reaches a low battery level.

    Can you help me please?

Looks like you upload a complete project of Cordoba to BMP. You should not.

    Try this first:

    -Move www root config.xml

-Adjust the paths to the icons/splash in configuratie accordingly

-Zip up the contents of the www, not the directory itself

Once you have built it, please come back here, so we can guide you how to fix your remaining configuration errors.

  • Invaded memory (stack) between _tmstartserver and tpsvrinit recall.

    Hi all

    And thanks in advance.

We are trying to set up a Linux with the two Smoking And Oracle XA environment.

    Details:
    Linux Ubuntu 9.06
    Tux Linux 01 x 86 (downloaded as tuxedo10gR3_32_Linux_01_x86.zip) 10gR3_32
Client Oracle 10201 Linux 32 (downloaded as oracle_10201_client_linux32.zip)

Unfortunately, we met a saturation of memory (stack) between _tmstartserver and tpsvrinit recall.

We have implemented 2 breakpoints a _tmstartserver and the other on the tpsvrinit reminder entry.
Now about 1 stop, we have setup one shows an address of local variable (say char x [25] = {0} ;) said to another function (battery).)
Now breakpoint 2 we see the stack overrun.

    * There is a way to predict the local address of variable in memory.
Note: When you actually get the corresponding function we can see clearly that the values in the table are the same values as more running.

We also get a little message in the ULOG:
    143046.ubuntudev! tmp.16277.3025016528.0: NLS:4: cannot open the message LIBTUX_CAT, the value 1, num 262 catalogue; check TUXDIR=/usr/local/bea/tuxedo10.0, LANG = fr_FR. UTF-8

    Thanks TechSgin

    Hello

My suggestion would be to try your server on a supported platform. Ubuntu is a Debian-based distro, and as you noticed is not a supported Linux distribution. You can also try using the command ulimit to increase the size of the stack available to applications, as the stack size by default Ubuntu that I think is quite a bit smaller than the default RedHat or SUSE.

    Kind regards

I have an iPhone 6 more, an official version of China, it shows a battery indicator when I turn off support, is this normal? I can depulicate this function to another iPhone? I know how?

I remember reading somewhere on the Apple site in recent years on some models of Chinese iPhone with this capability. No other iPhones display this and there is no way to enable it. I can't find the article which includes this information.

  • NB200-10Z - battery care

I recently bought a netbook NB200-10Z. I'm not really sure the battery care.

Should I keep the battery charge all the time, when I do not use the machine or only to connect the battery to the hand when it is unloaded.
In short how I look after my battery to maximize its life expectancy.

    Hello
I have three golden rule for my battery...
-For the first and the second time, you should drain at all then a charge to full capacity.
-L' another time, remember to recharge the battery when reach about 30%.
-Remove the battery when the Netbook has been plugged for more the 8 h.

Also try to download this tool http://www.batteryinfo.de.vu/

It gives the level of your battery and other useful info.

  • Made 2.4 car amp 6 s of my iphone battery charger drains?

    Hello world

I bought a car charger Griffin Amp 2.4 (12 watts).

They told me that this charger gets 5v and 12v out inout.

In fact, I can't undrestand the difference between volts, amps and volt.

I just want to know if this charger is draining my battery or it is not so bad?

This is the overview of the charger if it helps.

This low-profile charger works at the catch 12 volts in your car and is optimized to provide fast, safe load levels for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch.

    • Works in the bycatch of DC 12 volt console or dashboard of your car
    • Includes Lightning removable connector cable for charging and syncing
    • Pull tab to remove easily
    • 12 watts of load power supply: 5 volt 2.4 amp.

    Help, please. Thank you

so more to kill volts a device

amps is however how many amperes a device can get a charger before lowering the tension because it cannot follow

amps is as how fast your car can! car not at how fast she runs when you start

you could load with a 2.4 MegaAmps with no problems

  • battery + car charger
