Care strange battery X230T

Hello!

I got a X230T replacement. Interesting thing, the battery specifications are different. There are still several Volt and Watt-values printed on them. Now I wonder which one would be the better one or if they are actually similar and calculations with Watt, volts and amps are just different. Battery 1 has been used for a year already, so I keep a new independently of its specifications?

Battery 1
Li - ion 00
FRU 45N1079
ASM 45N1078
EU min 5300 mAh
NAME 11, 1V 5.6 Ah 63W
11, 1V 5.3 Ah (apart from some Asian languages)

Battery 2
Li - ion 20
FRU 45N1177
ASM 45N1076
NAME 10, 8V 5.8 Ah 63W
EU min 5139 mAh
10, 8V 5.13 Ah (apart from some Asian languages)

Thank you for all the advice!

Power Manager should tell you what manufacturer makes the cells. The consensus is that the Panasonic cells are the best available.

  • Strange battery and/or AC on Satellite M30x and Vista behavior

    Hi all!

I have Windows Vista and laptop M30X on board. Since a few days ago something strange was going on.
Sometimes (can not know when) system is suddenly goes to the battery. Sometimes the two LEDs of AC and battery are flashing (rappid on and outside) and sometimes one battery LED going off (whithout flashing). When I remove and replace taking AC, everything goes back to normal for a while.

I checked the Jack - nothing happens when you move (so I think that's not bad taking question). Battery works also very well (on 2-2, 20 h under Vista).

Anyone has idea what is happening? It would be Vista ACPI question? He must check on another system, but it is quite difficult to reinstall all things repeatedly.

How I tested AC power, battery, and other stuff to find out what is happening? And most importantly - how to reach or where to set?

PS. just he curled for any race day - nothing has past. So I guess, this problem is only when the laptop is moved (eg. organize, towers and woking on it). I think it means that electronics and OS are good, the question must be somewhere on the cable or / and socket - am I good?

    Hello

    > Could it be Vista ACPI question? He must check on another system, but it is quite difficult to reinstall all things repeatedly.
I don t think that this problem has something to do with the software or installed Vista.

I think it sounds more like an electronic power supply malfunction.
You should check the pins of the battery and if the AC adapter cable is not broken.

If the output voltage of the adapter is abnormal or if power outages, AC flashes orange.
In your case the two LED flashes orange and so I think that it s a hardware failure.

  • Behavior strange battery on the iPhone 5 with iOS 9.2

After installing iOS on iPhone 9.2 5 phone consumes my battery unusually quickly and in a very strange way.

Specifically, after be recharged to 100%, it can go up to almost 60 to 50% within 1-2 hours of waiting use or with some very basic internet as e-mail, facebook, whats app etc. (not youtube or other battery consuming requests, no call phone and not a lot of applications running on the bottom). If I do 2-3 a few phone calls, the battery can easily go to 0. Another strange issue is that sometimes when the battery indication is around 60-65% the phone is suddenly switched off indicating low battery. I can't turn back on until I plug in power. Then my battery will immediately 0% back to 60-65% and charing. If I disconnect the cable again and wait a few minutes, it climbs from 60 percent to 15 percent. If I connect the cable again, as it did at 60%. A few more times, he spends 40 to 45% to 10% in both directions.

My wife has an iPhone 5 with iOS installed 9.2 and has similar problems with the battery. On previous versions of the software that we have never had such problems, the battery is sufficient for use throughout the day with plenty of internet and other applications and a few phone calls. My phone is now almost useless, the only way to take the battery throughout the day is to have it on the stand mode with all applications closed and no phone call, and once again the battery remains close to 100% for a long time.

Is a known, issue y at - it solution or something I can do like downgrade the SW, or should I wait for the next version of the software be released?

Make an appointment at the genius bar and have checked phones.

Some units of the iPhone 5 have been manufactured with a defective battery. Apple has a program in place to replace them for free. You can check here serial numbers if your phone is part of the program. https://www.Apple.com/support/iPhone5-battery/

  • Satellite A100 - strange battery issue

My battery takes more than two or three days to load completely, but when the cord is pulled it will not provide any power. My research has led me to believe it could be a bad battery, or BIOS related.

  • E5 - 572G strange battery issue

    Hello!

I have an Acer Aspire E5 - 572G (bought 19 days ago not even a month) and I started to meet something weird with my battery 4 days ago. While normally using computer laptop, he went suddenly into hibernation mode and the battery dropped 26% to 5% (critical level) without notification. Now, down from about 36% to 5%.

My question: why it's like this, the battery is new and I do not think he already needs replacement. I want to just my battery to discharge normally. Thank you!

You may have a bad battery or a hardware problem. It would be best to return it for Exchange or refund.

    Hello

Use a third-party software testing such as:

    http://www.Softpedia.com/get/system/OS-enhancements/battery-Eater-Pro.shtml

4 out of 5 stars seems good.

    http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=321957&prodSeriesId=4145198&swItem=ob-112229-1&prodNameId=4145326&swEnvOID=4058&swLang=13&taskId=135&mode=5

BIOS improvements: resolves an issue where the laptop battery is not working properly at the end of life.

This battery may be new, but it does not mean that it is in excellent condition. I suggest to upgade of the BIOS to version F.21.

  • Problem strange battery

I went to work and my Droid has been 80% load. During lunch, the phone warned me that my battery was 5% and I do not use for all the time, it was simply to sleep, no GPS, no WiFi, so I turned off and when I got home, I put plugged into the charger and the phone displays 60% battery level... wtf?

What is a kind of software bug or something? I hope someone can help me answer

Probably just a one-time glitch. They occur. I would recommend you kill the battery fully, then let it charge all night. Sometimes you need to the State of the battery so that the sensor is it properly. If this happens again, go into the settings > on the phone and look in the use of the battery. This will tell you what is a battery impact. Knowledge is power.

  • A2109A: Strange battery charging through USB

My 1st try with stock ROM ICS has been, an A2109A stop never laoded 80% at night from a shutdown of PC with a standard cable to PC. Then I upgraded to JB and the same pc with the same cable it loaded to 100% within hours. I loaded several times this way.  And then it does not load more than 40% for 2 days. With the original charger I could charge to 100%.

Someone at - it similar experiences?

USB ports are only spec'd to support 1/2 amp devices which need power.  Some may deliver more, but the specification is 500 my (1/2 Ampere).  Your charger tablets delivers full 2 amps or 4 times the power that a USB port is supposed to provide.  USB 3.0 ports can offer 950 my or almost double the power, but still only half of what it takes, most of the tablets what whether the brand will be will not charge out of a USB port.  It is not a problem with the Tablet, but a limit of the USB specification.

  • Satellite L850 - after 1 year of use battery runs out quickly

Hi, through programs such as care or battery battery I see a Toshiba Satellite L850 * 48% battery wear * currently. I notice that a game, the battery runs out quickly, as the warm up by many things and often descalibra and behaves erratically.

The laptop is a year old. Is it normal that the battery to wear so much in so little time?
Would you accept a warranty or replacement of the battery may claim the wear caused by improper use?

    http://img690.imageshack.us/img690/6976/4f7k.jpg

First, please note that the battery working time depends on the use of the laptop.
Running applications heavy performance as a game would drain the battery very quickly. Why? Because parties such as GPU and CPU and cooling to highest performance and this modules needs power.
Also using the laptop with higher brightness may drain the battery faster.

You should also know that each battery would start to loose own performance after about 500 charge cycles. This is nothing unusual and happens to all batteries.

In order to avoid or slow down this process, its recommended to calibrate the battery from time to time.
Calibration of means of loading and unloading the battery fully.
Charge the battery until it could be fully charged, then disconnect the power adapter and keep the battery discharge up to his completely empty. Repeat 2-3 times in the line.

  • Early 2011 MBP battery/SMC issues

Hello guys I have a problem strange battery with my mbp in early 2011. One day, he suddenly showed an x on the symbol of the battery and after having looked through the forums, I did a reset of the MSC. She failed the first time but then he got running. A few days later, a similar situation occurred still worked after a smc reset.

Now for the 3rd time in 2 weeks it occurred again but this time without effect on resetting the smc. I was actually a little busy so couldn't at the apple store for a check up and that 4 days later I picked the done a smc just for attempts and the battery is back. How to prevent this?  Battery seems fine (270 cycles) and on a 1000 Mah lost in quality (5400 now 4496).

Is this a battery problem?  Or a malfunction of the logic board?

Also it was not in a closet for a few days and where I live is pretty wet and it's winter could be condensation?

    Your help is appreciated

It works fine now, but I don't want the recurring question, and as he is very good at the moment there is not much sense to take it to the store (it's quite far from here where I live)

The battery in a MBP is DESIGNED to operate up to 1000 cycles, but age is also a factor (among others).  If you get five years of service in a farm, you have found the right value, but batteries do not have an infinite life span.  I suspect that it is time for a replacement.

Apple can sell you one, or if you decide to go with a third-party battery, I can't THAT recommend NuPower sold by OWC or Anker batteries.  Bargains from ebay are highly suspicious and I would avoid them.

    Ciao.

  • Satellite A200: Should I remove the battery when working on the power supply

    Hello

I've been running an A200 machine for the last 2 months, bought as a desktop replacement in order to fit in my small apartment. I realize now that I never ued work on battery - it is always powered on sector. Since this is unlikely to change, should I remove the battery? Deing battery degrades remaining in the machine while it is continusouly by the industry feeding, or does it not matter?

Thank you very much in advance for your reviews.

    GW.

You can remove it, but it should not be done. For me, it's stupid to remove the battery and let the dust make the battery place dirty. The batteries we use today are very good and Scott wrote the electronic power supply just to check if the battery is full and care the battery and the battery capacity.

  • Battery related question CQ50 139WM

I have a CQ50 139WM and I was wondering how long am I suppose to charge the battery for it to be fully charged and its okay if I use my cell phone all the time on the Ac Adapter because Ihate the idea of having to use it on battery power unless I really need it.

    Hi ridz20,

I found this version of the service manual for the CQ50 online: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c01572022.pdf on page 10, it tells you the battery status light and various degrees in which he lights up (fully, blinking, off) [see the below pasted text]. Based on these descriptions (below), I would say your laptop is fully charged (for the 1st time and each subsequent charge period), once the battery light turns off. On a separate note, I have 2 personal and 1 laptop computer work, and I ALWAYS leave each of them connected to an external power source, unless I am traveling...

However, your post inspired me to dig a little deeper, and I came across this article as well: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c01297640. This article gives to think that if you go to work exclusively on sector more than two weeks, you can extend your battery life by removing it from the system for the use of exclusive output power. (See: 'Practical care recommended battery'.) I hope this information is useful!

    The battery light

    On: A battery is charging.

Flashing: A battery that is the source of power available only reached a low battery level. When the battery reaches a critical battery level, the battery light starts to Flash quickly.

Off: If the computer is connected to an external power source, the light is off when all the computer batteries are fully charged. If the computer is not plugged into an external power source, the led remains off until the battery reaches a low battery level.

  • Sony Vaio 13 Flip do not charge to 3%

    Hello

My Sony Vaio 13 SVF13N13CXB Flip will not charge when plugged in and remains at three percent. Battery icon says "plugged in, not charging."

Charge light amber does not illuminate during usage and only flashes for a moment when I hit the power button to turn the computer on or off.

Is there a boot program or process, that I have disabled potentially who charge controls of this laptop?

A few days ago I installed the Iolo System mechanic and he disable programs a bit, so I don't know if it's what he does. I've been through, and it's not like I've disabled something vital...

I have upgraded to Windows 10 in early November and there was no problems until a few days ago, so I do not think this update had no effect on the battery does not charge.

I also tried the care function battery in the Vaio Control Center without result - I turned on and after-hours care function to try to revive the battery charges and neither have worked.

I also disabled the computer and left it plugged in UAB and conversely the computer turned off and left unplugged overnight (this problem is ongoing since almost a week).

I tried to solve this problem in Vaio Care and who does not, I even reset my computer.

Is there a possibility of charge cable is defective and that's all that I have to correct, because that would be the simplest solution.

And if so, where I acquire one of these load of the cables since these laptops on is no longer on the market?

I hope this isn't my battery, aka, I hope I don't have to send for repair.

Any input or advice is much appreciated. Thank you for reading.

    Patrick

    RESOLVED:

I left my computer completely die in having not plugged and turn until he went into this weird reset mode where he was turning power on and off until he eventually just turned off for good. Then I plugged it it in and AHA! -the charging LED amber light turned on and the computer began to load. I think that the computer has become sensitive and he knew that he would die so he is healed itself to charge to stay alive (IE. He understood that I was killing and allowing it to become a brick, but it also has a will to live it fixed itself). I'm just glad, it doesn't have the arm and I worry about the internet connection because it can communicate with other sensitive machines and start to take over the world.
