CC 2015.1 error when changing Active color

Since the update, whenever I try to change the active color I get the generic error "could not complete your request because of a program error." In this case no matter how I try chnge color, as well as if I select a built-in tool that automatically changes the color. Funny it is, the color desired is active, but does not update the display of the active palette. What makes techincally functional, but it is still an inconvenience to have to erase the error every time I change my active color.

The error will NOT occur when I change the secondary color, but it happens when I flip through active/secondary.

This is only happening on my work computer Win8; my portable home Win10 had no problems since the update.

Any ideas?

Hi mpbMKE,

Sorry for the mistake. These program errors can be caused randomly and generally it is not a reason known for them.

A fix for it is usually to reset the Photoshop preferences: es.html #Preferences blogs.adobe.com/crawlspace/2012/07/photoshop-basic-troubleshooting-steps-to-fix-most-issu

Give that a try and let us know how it goes.

  • When changing the color of a font, color swatch adds 'stroke '.

    Sorry, people, but I am a newbie to iD...

    I'm trying to change the color of highlighted text, but when I apply a color of the sample added a 'coup' instead of simply changing the colour. What I doing wrong and how can I fix it (that is, do RIGHT)?

    Thank you

    Roy

    If you look in the upper left corner shades or panels of color or the bottom of the Toolbox, you will see two superimposed squares that may or may not be in color. These are the proxies of stroke and fill color. Filling is the top left, strong box, stroke is the lower right with the hole in it. Click on one and it comes forward and is active, so any color change will affect what it represents.

  • Excel freeze when changing cell color and HP LaserJet CM1415fn is default printer

    We use a HP LaserJet CM1415fn connected via Ethernet. The computer is running Windows 7 x 64 with the latest printer drivers available on the HP Web site as of today.

    When this printer is the default printer, there's a freeze occurring in Excel when we try to change the color of a cell, exactly as described here:

    http://answers.Microsoft.com/en-us/Office/Forum/office_2010-Excel/changing-font-color-causes-Excel-t...

    and here:

    http://answers.Microsoft.com/en-us/Office/Forum/Office_2007-Excel/Excel-not-responding-when-changing...

    Both messages suggested that set the default printer to something else solves the problem and that the problem lies in the driver printer, and indeed, the default printer to something other that our HP printer makes this problem disappear immediately.

    Could you please provide an updated driver or a workaround another that set the default printer to something else?

    To after what I read this peut be bound by printer drivers, but I doubt that the problem is caused by the printer driver. They do refer to is an editor of document to their default the Printers folder, which I do not have is - not - a printer driver. The XPS Document Writer 'prints' documents in a file, it is not really a printer driver at all and it's more a misnomer to consider it as such.

    The description of the problem, it seems always be attached to the Software Suite. If it is a problem that the effects of several printer drivers (according to the user), it wouldn't make sense to assume that the problem is the drivers for the printers belonging to users who have this problem, but the common factor uniting the experiences here, that would be the desktop software.

    What you can do is check the following link to ensure that A) all updates are applied correctly B) driver software is updated through uninstall/reinstall and (C) you ensure that the printer firmware is up to date:

    http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?cc=us&LC=en&DLC=en&product=4089468

    It is possible, it's a hangup in the software, but if things internally within the program that it would not make sense of how the printer HP programming works.

    I would like to know how it goes!

  • TSL color does not match HEX, I entered when changing the color of the object.

    Hello world

    I change the color of an image. When I type in the HSL numbers (which correspond to the HEXAGON), it's a completely strange color.  I know colors can look different on the screens, but these colors don't look like even those I need. What I am doing wrong?

    -Color I wanted to achieve: HEX #9E223F

    -The converter was told to use: HSL 346, 65: 38

    -The color looks pink rather than the shade of plum, I needed

    -I work in RGB mode because that those are the specs given to me to print.

    This is nothing like as I wanted it. What I've done wrong? I don't know how to fix or get a more desired result. I have need to change article 'pink' in a plum color.

    Thanks for the help everyone!

    http://forums.Adobe.com/message/5580527#5580527

    Carlos wrote a script in response to the above thread. He replaces CMYK black and grey black a shade called "black point". It's great, but it seeks only to paths. I made a few adjustments to keep it to make white objects and unpainted. I'll need to work on the text and degraded. Right now I'm working on the text.

    I tried to use the same logic that runs on the paths on the text, but I'm missing something. Help help.

  • Error when changing the language of the front panel in Japanese

    Hello world...

    I'm changing the front panel of the English language to Japanese. To do this, first I exported the strings through the Tools->Advanced-> export channels.  After that I changed one of the label in Japanese and saved with Unicode encoding (as with normal ASCII coding Japanese texts will not be read). I imported the same file I recorded in a Unicode encoding format. But it shows that the error given below

    "Error analysis during the import of channels

    "Saturday, November 28, 2015 11:09:14.

    (See the attached screenshot of error)

    So I tried to import the same file ASCII coding mmee, then it is successful. But the problem is that the modified label is not in Japanese that it shows a few points mark. I'm able to import the channel file saved in ASCII format code but the channel with coding ASCII file will not read Japanese texts. So please help me to solve this problem.

    I need to import a channel file saved with a Unicode encoding or in any case format to enable Japanese texts as ASCII coded format.

    I modified the configuration settings to activate the Unicode format as follows "UseUnicode = TRUE'." I'm using Labview 2014.

    Thank you...

Currently, I am only able to export the two together. Also when I import the unicode file that does not contain unicode characters, it shows the same error.

    Perhaps the requirement is statesd as such because the people who wrote the requirement had no idea, you can keep the labels even but change the subtitles only.  Changing labels is a massive effort that could have profound ramifications to the code itself.  Not the same with a legend.

  • 500 unexpected substitute error when changing the id of the application in - app. XML

    Hi, I'm debugging my app on the real PlayBook,

    I decided to change the application in the - app.xml id, since then, I get an error "500 unexpected substitute" when you try to run the FB4.5 application.

    This threa500 unexpected substitute at the launch of app browsing I understood the problem came from the ID of the application being changed, but not the inner packaging ID used to reference the app in the PlayBook.

    This is verified by looking inside the bar file for application id generated old and new application id, package id remains unchanged. (I think it's actually a bug in the SDK, I'd love to have confirmation of this from someone competent)

    so I thought OK, I'll just delete the app from the PlayBook to clear the former association IDPack applicationid and reinstall...

    but still no hope.

    Here is a detailed description

    old id of the application has been myOldAppID

    new application id is myNewAppID

    generated from the package id: myPackID (even for the two application ID)

    It seems that the PlayBook maintains a list of applications that have already been installed on it: I tried to delete the application from the command line using blackberry - deploy and the package id (obtained from the .bar):

    blackberry-deploy -uninstallApp -device 169.254.0.1 -password *** -package-id myPackID

    The app is removed as planned, it is deleted from the PlayBook, the command displays the result menu

    Info: Sending request: Uninstall
    Info: Action: Uninstall
    Info: Uninstalling myPackID...
    Info: Processing 0 bytes
    actual_dname::myOldAppID.debug.myPackID
    actual_id::myPackID
    actual_version::
    result::success

    The result, we see that the PlayBook concludes the old reference to my application and displays the ID of the application on line actual_dname

    now, if I run the same command, but with an obviously wrong package ID:

    blackberry-deploy -uninstallApp -device 169.254.0.1 -password *** -package-id someWrongID

    I get the result

    Info: Sending request: Uninstall
    Info: Action: Uninstall
    Info: Uninstalling someWrongID...
    Info: Processing 0 bytes
    actual_dname::
    actual_id::someWrongID
    actual_version::
    result::success

    Note the line actual_dname is empty, there is no reference for the application with package ID someWrongID

    Here, I'd rather see an output like "application not found for package id someWrongID" but anyway...

    So if I run the same command again, with my application package ID, I expect the line actual_dname will be empty, because the application has already been deleted, but the result is always:

    Info: Sending request: Uninstall
    Info: Action: Uninstall
    Info: Uninstalling myPackID...
    Info: Processing 0 bytes
    actual_dname::myOldAppID.debug.myPackID
    actual_id::myPackID
    actual_version::
    result::success

    Here, I see that the PlayBook still holds the former association of myOldAppID with myPackID, even if the application has been removed...

    I tried to restart the PlayBook, cleaning and reconstruction project, all without result... the reference remains in the PlayBook, and myPackID remains unchanged.

    NoI am blocked, if I want my app to debug, it seems that I must leave application ID with the old value...

    I would like to know, is it possible to remove completely an application and all of its references, of the PlayBook?

    And there at - there someone who can explain how the Package Id is generated, and if it's a bug or a feature?

    Thank you!

    Hi Julien,

    This problem is supposed to be fixed on the latest SDK version: 1.1.1. Could you please confirm what command line tools do you use?

    blackberry-airpackager -version

    will show you its own version.

    See you soon!

  • "Internal error" when changing Desktop provisioning settings

    This is getting ridiculous. Its a shame that VMware does no support whatever view assessment. A problem more like this and I swear that I will not buy this product...

    In any case, I have created a few office pools test but need to change the settings. When I click edit for an office pool, under "automated provisioning settings" it I cannot change the settings. For example if I want to disable the commissioning or decrease the number of workstations to be deployed, it gives me an error "internal error". If I try to disable the commissioning the same error occurs.

    Why is this? You can decrease the amount of workstations put into service once you create a pool?

    Thanks in advance!

    I see this error before when you try to change the settings on a pool that

    did not see it is assigned model.  Once I pointed to a valid

    model, it allowed me to change the settings.

  • IDE #1 error when changing from my dvd on the Satellite 2450-401

    Hello
    I just bought a Toshiba sd-r6472 dvd - rw to replace my old Teac on my Satellite 2450-401 dvd\cdrw. When I restart my computer, I get the error ide #1 and after loading the system (Windows and Linux) my new DVD - RW disc is not seen. I tried to install it under widows with the computer running is the same I don't see, but to the list I can open it (in there now). I updated my BIOS nothing. This DVD - RW works very well on a laptop of another producer. I tried to install another DVD - RW drive, it's the same thing. I have read a few forums and apparently the Toshibas have a few problems, readers are CSEL and put it into a slave (the player is all pine is plug and play) you must connect to pins or something like that. Can someone help me? It's stupid that a Toshiba drive does not work on a Toshiba laptop and works on another... If there is a simpler method to install it will help me much

    Hi Michael

    Before starting any discussion about your problem please use advanced search on this forum option and put the IDE #1 as search terms. You'll see on this forum, you will find a lot of similar topics. Check a little. You may find the answer. If this isn't the case, write again please.

  • Apex 5.0.2 error when changing the table name in the treatment of automatic line of process (process row)

    Hello

    I need a little help...

    For some reason, I have to change the underlying table for a treatment of automatic process (process Row) line (form).

    Although such a change is possible in the designer of the page (under "settings") Apex does not recognize the new name of the table, but seem to rather use the name of the original table "old."

    Pretty strange (new/modified) (the new table columns) are (correctly) error message.

    For example, the 'old' is: TABLE_1 and TABLE_2 new.

    TABLE_2 has a new COLUMN_NEW column (and corresponding P1234_COLUMN_NEW page element exists)

    Then the error message says something like: not found COLUMN_NEW column in TABLE_1. Althougt I changed the table to be TABLE_2.

    Maybe it's a bug or I do something wrong about this?

    Thank you in advance!

    André

    OK, just to get some - you changed the name of the table twice:

    -Rendering of section--> Page1234: Pagename--> pre-rendering--> after the header--> process of--> line from TABLE_2

    -Treatment article--> treatment--> process--> process of line from TABLE_2

    I thought, that always seek you the line of TABLE_1

    Indeed, I can reproduce the exact behavior even with Windows 7 64 bit.

    Add another driver that should solve problem withut wasting any use of the feature:

    While the list of printers, click Windows Update and leave a few minutes up to that list once again displayed.

    Under HP, select HP Deskjet 6980 and cmplete configuration.

    Now try printing using the driver 6980.
