  As mentioned by Keith, yes we are aware of the current issues with the last update of Lightroom and are currently working on this issue.

  For now, I suggest you follow the steps below:

  • Go to the Lightroom preferences > General > uncheck 'show add photos screen '.
  • Lightroom preferences > Performance > uncheck "use the graphics processor.
  • Restart Lightroom, and check if you are able to import
  • If the steps above do not help, then roll back to the last version and refer to this article for the same thing: https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom/kb/roll-back-to-prior-update.html

• CC 2015 inDesign crashes at launch

  I use a Windows 8.1 machine and recently installed Acrobat DC and Illustrator CC2015 without any problem. At the same time, I installed InDesign and Photoshop CC 2015 at the same time. Initially, I got the message (I don't know which program was this error, it was either InDesign or Photoshop):

  So I did as instructed and downloaded from Microsoft.com vcredist_x86.exe and installed with no problems that I could say and restarted my computer. I opened Cloud to launch Photoshop and InDesign to test them, and it says have been updated, so I ran the updates for InDesign. When I tried to launch InDesign, I received the following message: Adobe InDesign CC 2015 has stopped working. A problem caused the blocking of the program works correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available. It does not give a code error or any other information. I did not run updates for Photoshop and can open very well now. I uninstalled InDesign and tried to run it without updates, and still, it crashes at launch, giving me the same message: Adobe InDesign CC 2015 has stopped working. A problem caused the blocking of the program works correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.

• 9.2 CC InDesign crashes when you open the data merge Panel

  I have a document that is in a book (for multiple files) with cross-references to other documents in the book. I also almost all of the content in an inCopy assignment in order to manage in multiple versions/layouts with the same content. All references are separated InCopy as page numbers vary from book to book.

  That said, so that other documents in the work of book very well, this one is having issues. Whenever I try to view the data merge Panel, it crashes. I had a similar problem with other files where if I try to select a merge data source it would break. I've solved the problem of the registration of a copy, the deletion of all pages of the document, by selecting the data merge source (who now works with any content on the pages), and then copy and paste the content on the pages back. Not sure why this works, but it did.

  The problem is that I tried the same solution on this document and it worked until I tried to click on the data merge Panel after you follow these steps, inDesign crashes. If I open the data merge Panel, THEN open the document, it crashes as well.

  I'll try to redo this with panel data fusion open while I copy and paste content back in and see if I can refine the problematic content if that is the question.

  I use InDesign everyday, had my Macbook since September and have had no problems with the opening of the program at all until about 2 weeks ago. It appears with the graphics of opening with all the license information, and 5 seconds later, a window opens saying "InDesign quit unexpectedly", as well as loads of text on the threads, frames and the rest. (A copy of the text is available to InDesign Crash Info - Pastebin.com , in case where anyone can somehow choose something from that!)

  I tried to reset all my preferences and reinstall all of the CS6. I also had a problem with the fonts in the past, so I have deleted all my additional fonts and just now the default fonts library. The only way I could make it work is by setting up a different user account, and now it opens properly, but only when using this account. It's just a pain the * having to keep switching between user accounts all the time! I didn't know if there would be a quick solution to this, rather than having to transfer all my files, preferences etc. from one account to another and basically a new account from scratch.

  Any help would be great appreciated.

  According to the accident report, you must always update InDesign to the latest patch (8.0.2 for a perpetual license, 8.1 for the subscription).

  If that alone is not enough, delete or rename the files of two preference from your old account (see replace your preferences for where to find them) and copy the same folders on the new account.

  Your problem may be a corrupted project (need to start the project) or after you move the files that is declining not yet correctly (crash rather than show an error) or similar.

  The path of the defective module is the same and its blocking because of the Intel Graphics Driver on your computer, "ig7icd64.dll" corresponds to the software driver for intel.

  We recommend that you update the drivers from the Intel site now and see if that helps.

  Whenever I select the page tool it crashes... new existing document document, no way to use the page tool, a few seconds after selecting it, closed InDesign itself!

  Whenever I try to open a web page that has a video to vineyard inside, firefox crashes. This happens every time. Same opening http://www.vine.co will crash firefox.   Hello disappear, what kind of sound card do you use? Mozilla developers are working on a fix for some models that hang on some content audio html5, which should already be present in firefox nightly - for more details you can also check the #970147 bug.

  Hi Mike,.

  The cause of the accident is intelocl64.dll which is the file to Intel graphics card drivers.

  Make sure that your graphics card drivers are updated.

  If this does not help, follow these steps:

  • Quit Photoshop
  • Press windows and keys r to open the run window
  • Type w and press enter
  • Open Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CC2015.5\Adobe Photoshop CC2015.5 settings
  • Move the sniffer file on desktop and relaunch Photoshop
  • Check that it works fine now

  I have the feeling that the file is corrupted or something. But how can I recover or repair? I'm on a Mac, 10.8.5 and using Indesign 5.5.

  I tried to make an alias or name something else - does not work. I'm not able to export it to an IDML because it crashes before I can do it. What can / should I do? Of course, this is a large document and I'm supposed to download to the printer tomorrow. I was making the last corrections when this happened... arg!

  I could not run the script. I ended up back on my backup HD and was able to open the file from the previous day. I was able to save this file as something different and just because a few hours of work to catch up. Thanks for your help.
