dv5-2070us screws for hdd insecure on the laptop

I watched the service manual for this laptop and images on hard drive showed the screws to secure the hard drive on the laptop, but hard drive of my notesbook does not have slot machines, a carter or holes to put the screws on. The hard drive is just lying with cable connection on the motherboard.  Without screws to fix the hard disk, it will be sensitive to vibrations or 'clash '. Could be a factor for the hard disk to fail?

A question unrelated to problem laptop let l. can reach us screenshots in our messages? Thank you.

Yes you can attach screenshots. There are icons in the toolbar above the 'Show the Message' box, and one to the right the 'link' is to display images.

You need a rubber bumper and a servant like this:

Those who lack your laptop?

See Page 60 of the manual. 'S called it the "insulator" which sounds like a movie with Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Well, you have the difference between SATA and IDE hard drives.
This laptop was certainly equipped 2.5 HDD that support the IDE interface.

I know that some L10 notebooks were shipped with 40 GB and 60 GB HARD drive.

  • Equium A100 - malfunction of the laptop keyboard

    Hello

I have a laptop Toshiba Satellite A100 and when I press u on the keyboard on that I get 8u, when I I I ki, press o, I get lo, press press 2, I get w2. I checked the keyboard for defects on the cable to the motherboard, also shortcut keys off.

I tried an external keyboard and it worked well. I ended up buying a new keyboard which worked well for a while, and then all of a sudden, he started doing the problem mentioned earlier.

I uninstalled the driver and then reinstalled it but no difference. I am running Windows XP Home SP3.

I hope someone can shed some light on this problem.

    Thank you.

    > I tried an external keyboard and it worked well. I ended up buying a new keyboard which worked well for a while, and then all of a sudden, he started doing the problem mentioned earlier.
You bought the new keyboard and it solved the problem for a while.
    Well, in my opinion, there are two possibilities;
You had a great misfortune and the new keyboard started to malfunction too, or there is something wrong with the keyboard on the mobo controller.

But it's just my personal suggestion and if you want to know what's not exactly then you should ask a Toshiba ASP in your country for a control of the laptop.

By the way; I hope that you use the latest version of the BIOS.

  • I need help for online with my new laptop mini

    original title: online

I bought a laptop mini JC Penny, which is supported by micrsoft 5.0, everyone don't know how I can get online?

    Hi LEEHill H,

What is the manufacturer, brand and full model number and of the notelbook (I want to look it up online to see if there are instructions available)?  If you do not have this information, what is the reference number of JC Penny?  It come with an ISP account or you plan to use your?  How do you intend to connect to the internet (wireless via a router, cable, wireless by satellite link,...)?  If you want to install it anywhere (which means a satellite connection), your current ISP is perhaps not able to manage and you may need a separate account for this.

The laptop come with instructions - or links to the online instructions?

If XP is used for network access, then the installer should be easy once we understand how your ISP account is set up and how to access the functions of network configuration (if this is not the full product, but only parts of it).  Answers to the questions above should help us determine how to proceed (I hope).

    Thanks and good luck!

  • Freezes and the laptop HP 8460p not close

When to stop the laptop, it disconnects, displays "sutting down" and freezes at this moment, and remains so.

Must press off for 5 seconds, stop the laptop. After the restart of a message is displayed, which

There or closes normally, give the choice to the safe mode or normal boot. Normal usage starts the laptop starts normally and works fine. Next time I stop it may close normally, but about 50% of the time he does. I use Windows 7 Pro 32-bit.

I downloaded and installed, but seems not to do anything and I can not find the diagnostic tool

My laptop (Dell Inspiron only 3 months old) is displayed on an external monitor, but not on the laptop screen. I am running Windows 7. It was running and display very well last night. When I turned on this morning the monitor lit up but show just a gray-white screen and no office. When I attached an external monitor, I could see desktop and all other programs and Windows 7 routines seem to work very well.

    MB

Press the Windows logo key and the p key, and then set up the PC to display on the built-in monitor only cycle through with the arrow key.  You can make this Store if you want - key Windows-p, right arrow once, paused for a few seconds & the laptop monitor should then appear normally.

You can do so at the end of each session using the external display while you are ready for the use of the laptop on its own later.

  • dv5 1002nr difficulty for the black screen and 2 flashing lights

    Hello!

So I have this laptop (dv5 1002nr) and of course just after the warranty goes out did the laptop. This original computer was one of my friends who took to Best Buy Geek Squad and they told him to fix this laptop it would cost $400 if not more.

So to make a long story short, she got a new computer and I helped get parameter and everything and then I asked for this laptop (I have set now free) did not work if I could have. He was a useless piece of junk so she agreed.

After about an hour of resistance tests, transistors, etc., I can verify that all energy through the computer is as it should. I spent maybe 30 minutes on Google without success, and finally I decided to try everything. I started with the new ram without success. I tried all the silly little "trouble shooting tips" HP has for this laptop.  I'm running a little more than 2 hours working on this seemingly useless task when I finally managed to make it work.

I did about 3 - 5 times now and it works every time.

First I remove all the ram and then turn it on. (of course it doesn't)

    Turn the power off.

Then remove the processor and turn it on. (attention)

    Disable.

Put the processer back in and turn it on. (still not working)

    Disable.

Put the ram back in and turn on.

That's what I did and it works every time for me.

Since I was only 17 and a little short on money I can't go just around portable computers purchase like these with this problem and test this further.

If anyone has this problem please try this and let me know.

Oh and HP. thank you very much your 'support' really helped me... at the expense of my portfolio.

    Oh and one thing...

I did the 'live chat' and they said that my laptop having is not a display might be due to my hard drive or the motherboard.

    1. the hard drive would not effect my monitor does not. Or on a hard disk of the computer AFTER.

    2. except when he said to the motherboard he also lies the processor he was wrong, once again.

    3. it is a faulty laptop and I know other people have had this problem I hope, they read this insead of wasting their time with "HP support".

GYM - after 2 years dead my DV-5 is back to life.

Turn on your computer - press and hold what ESC - then the END button repeatedly.

  • change the properties of VI for all screws in a library at the same time

I want to change the properties of VI for all of the screws in my library (specifically the execution properties). Is there a quick way to do it if I can avoid individually open each VI?

You can do this in a script.  Open a refers to the edict of VI the VI, and then save it.  Here is an example that can do this for the edition of the documentation of a set of voluntary initiatives.

Rather than wait for the 2010 version of LabVIEW, you can do this now. Download the attached .zip file. Unzip and place the files in this directory:

  • Remote mobile dv5-2070US laptop computer States included, but does not work on the custom template

Someone of you have a problem with the mobile remote on the DV5-2070us, I just bought a custom model and the remote control does not work.  I had to call HP to get the remote control has sent to me, he was not in the box, as indicated on the site.  My guess is that the custom templates do not work with the remote control.

Called HP customer service, they have me advised that this version if the model basic or custom, won't work as my other laptop DV4 series.  This remote will work only while watching a DVD or internet TV.

  • This hard drive is compatible with my laptop? Apple 80 GB HDD 3.5 SATA for my Compaq CQ62, the hard drive that I have for that one is a "WD 500 GB 2.5 SATA II.

I plan to buy an Apple 80 GB hard disk 3.5 SATA for my Compaq CQ62, the hard drive that I have for you is a "WD 500 GB 2.5 SATA II.

Ports appear as it will keep and everything, but I'm curious to know, if I get this drive, I'll be able to install my Macintosh on that hard drive and use it on my laptop Compaq CQ62 or not?
If this isn't the case, then I'll be able to install Windows 7 or uBuntu on this hard drive? The hard drive will fit even on my laptop? Thank you!

Why you want to replace a 500 GB with a 80 GB drive it?

Macintosh is not an operating system

A 80 GB drive is too small for a win7 PC

But you should get all the details of ASP Simple contact with them guys.
