    Hello

I've updated to the latest versions of CC but when I try to install an extension using the Manager it will not install the extension more and the extensions Manager does not list all programs, I installed (photoshop etc) it just says: 'other' under the product list. The extension installed the other day when I downloaded older versions of CC to my new Mac, but now I updated to the newest versions of CC I feel no joy. I also tried to uninstall and reinstall the Manager extensions, but still no result and I get an error that says please make sure that the manifest.xml of this extension is valid and that the extensions Manager recognizes at least a product that supports the extension. Help, please

    Thank you

Hello, the extension manager is no longer compatible CC 2015 and beyond. Please read the article on this topic here: Adobe Exchange

  • Uninstall Adobe Extension Manager CS6 - are not not in Control Panel programs

    • 8.1 Windows Pro 64-bit
    • Photoshop CS6, CC, CC installed 2014
    • CS6 Adobe Extension Manager (version 6.0.8.28 installed)
    • Adobe Extension Manager (version 7.3.2.39) installed CC

I want to remove the CS6 extensions Manager. According to the online documentation, I should: go to the Control Panel, select "Add or remove programs", select 'CS6 Adobe Extension Manager' and click 'delete '.

Unfortunately, when I go to add / remove programs in the Control Panel, "Adobe Extension Manager CS6" is not listed. If I just search for 'Extension', I don't see "Adobe Extension Manager CC". If I search in the list of Adobe applications, it is not to be listed.

However, when I hit my Windows key followed by Q, I can run "Adobe Extension Manager CS6". I was able to run the program to provide the version number.

I want to delete Photoshop CS6 and CS6 Adobe Extension Manager.

Because I is not "CS6 Adobe Extension Manager" in the programs section in the Control Panel, how to uninstall it?

Each installation of the CS6 product program contains the CS6 extensions Manager. that is to say, EM CS6 is not a stand-alone product. So it is not listed in "Add or remove programs". When we remove all products CS6, CS6 EM will be deleted as well. If PS CS6 is the only CS6 product you have installed, please remove PS CS6 then EM CS6 should disappear.

  • Extensions manager not finding Dreamweaver?

Little about exactly what it says - it found all my other products CC, but when I went to install a dreamweaver extension, he says "Dreamweaver 6 or later version required" and I was like "I CC" - but then I looked in the 'my products' column and all EXCEPT Dreamweaver was listed. Any ideas?

EDIT - tried to restart and reinstall. did not help.

EDIT EDIT - it's CC and CC Dreamweaver extensions Manager - so that they are the correct versions.

Found an older thread and resolved and while the 'official' solution did not work for me, I started talking about another contributor (Spenny) on the wire, and he found the solution that worked for me - namely, check out CC in the main application of CC, update of all my products and the re-login in. you can see our discussion at Re : CC Adobe Extension Manager problems.

  • Adobe Extension Manager CC shows no Apps on OSX 10.7.5 (German)

    Hi all!

I downloaded and installed Adobe Extension Manager version 7.3.2.39.

As far as I know, this is the latest version of the September 25, 2014: downloads updates of Adobe Extension Manager

    It is installed under:

    CC Manager extensions/applications/Adobe /Adobe Extension Manager CC.app

After the application starts, it will not recognize one of my installed applications of CC as:
    InDesign CC v9.3.0

    InDesign CC v10.2.0

    or others.

    What can we do?

    Uwe

    Hello Uwe

A frustrating process for you, we agree! It is not a known issue with InDesign and Manager extensions, so on this issue, that we assume that the next time you restart your computer and open the extensions Manager, there is a good chance that InDesign appears. If this isn't the case, you can use the CC Office application to remove and reinstall InDesign which should encourage the extensions Manager.

It's ok to delete the folder OOBE to install automatically the next time you launch the extension manager. The latest version is 7.3.2.39.

InCopy comes with a list of pre-loaded extensions, but for other applications, they are not preloaded so that this point of view is normal. When you start the installation of Add-ons on the Add-ons site, they list in the extensions Manager.

    Kind regards

    Adobe Exchange team

  • I can't see the add-on, I have installed via the extension manager in Lightroom

I bought the add-on of the instant Hipster Presets in Adobe Exchange, and I can't make it work.

First, I tried the install method, but it did not download.

Then I used adobe extension manager to install it, and it shows that it is installed and activated, but after restarting Lightroom it still does not show in the presets folder.

I also tried placing directly in the Presets folder, but I could not extract the. File type ZXP on my mac.

The installed. ZXP end in the Lightroom develop presets folder after you have installed the extension manager.

But still after a restart of Lightroom, presets appear not in the predefined development module.

    I use a Macbook Pro 13 retina end 2013.

I was able to get installed it. Has taken some time. Download ZXP file and use the extensions Manager to install. It creates a zip file in the download folder. Here's what trip me the ZIP file has a date of 7-11. So I found it immediately. Once you unzip the zip file, it creates the folder instant Hipster. Right-click and select copy to folder. Then goto Lightroom\Develop Presets\User Presets folder. Way simpler to access goes into Lightroom and select "File preset Lightroom Show", then goto Lightroom\Develop Presets\User Presets folder and paste in the folder. Lightroom is restarted and it will be there.

I love the preset. It's just like using Instagram. I hope this helps.

  • Failed to install extension Manager

I just opened an account creative cloud and installed Premiere Pro. Then, I downloaded and installed PluralEyes 3. When tried to install the connector of the first in the extensions Manager, I received the following message:

Cannot install the Creative Suite Extension "PluralEyes Collection: Extras: PluralEyes 3 Connector for first Pro.zxp. Please make sure the manifest.xml of this extension is valid and the extension manager recognizes at least a product that supports the extension. The extension will not be installed.

I also tried to install Adobe Exchange and received the same error message asking a valid manifest. What is the problem?

I just encountered this problem and doing things (maybe 2) 1 to resolve the issue.

Make sure the application extension manager that opens is the CC extensions Managerand not the Extension Manager CS6 (which is installed with CC for Fireworks CS6 only).  This means that our questions are from the same CC.  If this installation attempt is not correlated to the appropriate extensions Manager, out of The Extension Manager CS6 and run CC extensions Manager.  Select install in the CC extensions Manager and point your Connector 3 PluralEyes for Premiere Pro executable of the dialogue window.

The other thing, I tried to realize the evil the default extensions Manager, was unzip the PluralEyes 3 Connector for Premiere Pro and extract to the same location as the file itself.  I expect this was important, because he alone has not resolved my problem; the use of the appropriate extension manager was rather the final solution to my problem, but I mention it just in case it was a contributing factor.

    Hope this helps

  • The extension manager crashes

I use CS4 Design Premium and when I try to add an extension using the extension manager, it blocks.
When I first noticed the problem that I could not even run the extension manager, it would break the launch. I went to ~\Library\Application Support\Adobe\Extension Manager2\Configuration\Extensions and moved all extensions to another folder. Then only the extensions manager would charge. I then added the Extensions one at a time, and now the extensions Manager load OK.

But if I'm going to load a new Extension, it starts to load the extension and then crashes. I tried this with 2 new extensions WebAssist that I just got and an extension of JQuery_API, so I don't think it is specific to the extension.

I'm on a MacBook Pro under OS x 10.5.6 and Creative Suite 4.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Well, it seems that Safari 4 is beta solves the problem. I would have guessed this earlier.

  • Shop for fonts and the extensions Manager WHY is it so difficult?

I am trying to install the add-on from the shop to the police. I can not yet do a smart search in the 'Adobe modules'... search can't find the FontShop module even if I type the term a few obvious ways.   YOUR RESEARCH NEEDS SPELL CHECK AND FIND * CLOSING MATCHES. There are SO MANY problems of usability in this forum and in the modules Adobe Adobe it's ridiculous. Basic stuff - usability 101.

But I can directly download the add-on from FonstShop... But it will not install in my Photoshop CC 2015. The problem is 'Adobe Extensions Manager' will not appear Photoshop CC 2015 even if I installed it (via could Creative).

How do you get the extensions Manager recognize Photoshop CC 2015?

The short answer, as Stephanie, is that you don't have. It is obsolete. Check out these resources: Adobe Exchange, specifically this one: Adobe Exchange

I had CS5.1 Photoshop and Lightroom 5.  I now have the new creative cloud Lightroom and Photoshop CS 2015.  Can I get rid of Adobe Device Central CS5.5 and Adobe Extension manager CS5.5 or these are still used by the new software?  Mike

CC has its own extensions Manager and Device Central is dead and has been for CS6. Feel free to remove them.
