CC guard add "Creative Cloud Files" shortcut to sidebar, last position

CC2015 added 'Creative Cloud Files' in the side bar of the Finder of OS x as the last element in the sidebar.

This isn't a bad one time thing.

But if it is moved to a different place in the list (for example, where we used to have with our other cloud services) or if it is removed from the sidebar, agent CC is going to replace it in the last position.

It does not meet our strategy of software deployment instructions.

How can we disable it?

Thank you very much

Ross

When I go to creative cloud here is what appears:

    probCreativeCloud.jpg

My question is simple: How do I add synchronization to change the location of? I'm exploring options everywhere, impossible to find this solution... And the online help was no help...

    Hello frederic gets!

I'm sorry, but my answer is going to be in English, so we can ensure that we get work - you'll be able to use the link translate this response.

I think that all you need to do is to move the location of the creative Cloud Files folder - is this OK?

    1. Open the CC app
    2. Select the drop Cog in the top right
    3. Select Preferences
    4. There are two tabs from the menu, general and "Creative Cloud" - select the 'Creative cloud' menu tab
    5. Under which there are 4 tabs in the menu: applications, files, fonts and Behance - select the tab of the menu files
    6. You will see a 'File location' option, simply use the drop-down list to change the location of the creative cloud files folder.

I hope this gets you work - if not just send a response and we can figure out what to do next.

  • Why have I not two record creative Cloud suddenly with different data in each folder (a folder called Creative Cloud Files (unknown))

This morning, I've connected and started working as usual. When I went to save on I noticed a new folder in the Bridge, called "Creative Cloud Files (unknown) without data in it. Weird, but what ever. So I recorded my file and dinked around a structure of files and cleaned a little. I have noticed that my sharing icon disappeared from records and questioned on this subject, but kept the job because I'm on a deadline.

So now it is wobbly data to the new file folder that does not match the original file of CC. I don't know where are my latest files and some files are all simple missing. I'm increased and confused about what is happening. Can someone shed some light on this?

With the recent update of the application of Creative Cloud Desktop (1.9.1.474), we have unfortunately introduced a bug that causes the creation of a new Creative Cloud Files folder and re-synchronization of all content. This will happen only the first time that the synchronization application runs after the update. This caused an understandable pain and confusion, for which we really apologize.

Creative application Cloud Files contains a logic that supports the use of several Adobe ID. This allows to disconnect from an ID and in, but keeps the contents of your separate creative cloud. When you sign out and change identifiers, the app moves the previous creative Cloud Files folder and it's content and he adds with the already signed in ID (User@AdobeID). Then, it creates a main folder and begins to synchronize the content of the identification of new.

The bug I mentioned earlier occurs, as the app believes an ID selector took place and as such, moves the current record of Creative Cloud Files and attempts to annex the already signed in ID. As no switch actually took place, it manifests as (unknown).  The application then creates a main folder to synchronize the data.

What you end up with is essentially a creative Cloud Files folder with your new synchronized data and a creative Cloud Files (unknown) folder that contains duplicate data.

This happens once, after the last update.

The solution is to simply delete the (unknown) Creative Cloud Files folder.

I recommend that ensure you that you have no pending change you can do offline and you check the contents of the folder new, main designer Cloud Files contains everything you expect of him.  If this is not the case, check the contents of the creative Cloud files (unknown).

If there is still an incompatibility with your data, you can check on creative.adobe.com to confirm that your data is there.

  • Miss me about 15 of my creative cloud file records

They are just GONE - and has a record that still has a "!" on each subfolder and file so that they are not properly synchronize. WHERE ARE THEY? I really need access to these files via my finder and not via the Web site. Help, please. I tried turning deactivation/activation of the synchronization, but nothing changes!

  • Why have I not 3 folders 'Creative Cloud Files?

Hello! I have a question about the cloud creative folder structure/synchronization.

I installed the creative Cloud Desktop application on my MacBook Pro and then installed the following programs: Lightroom, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat Pro.

Once I did that I turned on "line sync" on the Application Desktop toolbar.

I noticed that I have three different areas, called "Creative Cloud Files" and one of these folders is called "Creative Cloud Files unknown" (see the screenshot below).

    Screen Shot 2015-03-10 at 9.18.41 pm.png

Anyone know why there are three different places? What field can I save my files so that I can sync to the cloud? Can I remove one that says 'unknown' in the name of the file? I guess that the file listed in the bookmarks bar is in the same place as the "Creative Cloud Files" folder in my account?

  • Why is Creative Cloud Files sync does not?

Synchronization of files works now, having usually worked well for several months previously. I can't think of anything in particular that I did recently to cause this problem suddenly.

The problem is that my office files and the clouds are synchronization is no longer (fonts seem to be OK). Add or change a desktop file is not on the cloud version, and vice versa. Also, if I right click on a desktop file, options cloud creatives are grayed out. Similarly, tab files in the creative application cloud no longer has a sync option or the status indicator. Simply, it gives the possibility to open the folder (which opens my office creative Cloud Files folder) or open my folder in the cloud to Adobe. So two records are more in sync: remove files in one has no effect on the other.

I don't have a lot of files in Creative Cloud Files - about 1,000, less than 20% of my allowance of 2 GB. I tried to uninstall the application and delete Desktop folder then reinstall, nothing helps.

I usually use CC on OSX; I tried to install the creative application Cloud on Bootcamp (Windows 7) for the first time, but he also suffers a similar problem in that the office files and cloud are not sync. Is there a problem at the end of Adobe with synchronization right now?

I checked the questions of others on this subject and none of the fixed works for me. For the most part, they suggest turn Sync start/stop, restart, keeping at least 100 000 files, etc.

  • Creative Cloud Files vs. Document Cloud Files - what is the difference between them?

    Hi guys, good afternoon everyone.

Here I was wondering what is the difference between creative Document Cloud Files and Cloud Files?

I'm new here and couldn't find an answer.

    Screen Shot 2016-09-13 at 6.15.03 pm.png

If someone could help me, that would be very appreciated

Creative Cloud files are stored in your CC account synchronized.

Document Cloud files are the only pdfs stored with the sync Acrobat DC system.

The two are separate storage options. However, the DC option synchronizes perfectly with all your versions of Acrobat (mobile, desktop, etc.)

  • File picture looks weird after registration in creative cloud files

    Hello

I worked on a project of AE to my home PC (Win) save on Creative Cloud Files, but at the opening of the project to my work PC (MAC) images in my project looks weird. No doubt some noob in the event of failure in a frame or two...?Skærmbillede 2016-03-31 06.44.02.png

A project file AE does not contain assets that you have placed in the project. It simply records the links on assets. If you plan to work on a project on another computer, you must either have your files in a shared location (creative brief, Cloud, Dropbox, etc.) or use the command collect files to put everything with you.

In this case, there is a jpg file that is missing. What you see is the space reserved for the missing images.
