• Y550 BSOD / reboot several times per day

  At first, I thought I had problems with a recent update of the MS software, but now I'm leaning towards maybe (?) I have some hardware issues (hypothesis!).

  After a brief search, I ran memtest on my Y550, but one that is transmitted without any problems. In fact, in these last days, I notice that my Y550 will crash and reboot several times a day.

  I run windows XP I love and I don't mean to change. Until the last "update" my Firefox worked fine no problems and rarely experienced a failure. Since the update Firefox all seems to do is freeze and crash? not sure why nothing is different other than the update is automatic. I ran malwarebytes scan I did a scan with Kaspersky in-depth and also run tune up utilities, just in case nothing was found I have no viruses, but what I have is a Firefox that does not work. If I walk away from my computer for more information, then 10 minutes it freezes up, and I can't reduce it again and then it crashes.

  I looked through your forum I inspected my plugins (I have not much) nothing wrong with that

  I'm not very tech savvy please without lengthy explanations with 300 steps because I won't understand it. I just want to be able to take advantage of my Firefox again without it crashing several times a day.

  I have a mid-2013 11 "MacBook Air Yosemite 10.10.5 running.  Other specifications: 1.3 GHz processor Intel Core i5, 4 GB 1600 MHz DDR3.

  A few months ago hard breaks down started happens occasionally, so I wan't immediately concerned. But now they have increased in frequency to crash several times a day, usually when I use Safari or Firefox and at least once then running backup using Time Machine.

  I'm not familiar with reading reports panic then I cut and pasted the last being here. I am grateful for any advice or solutions here. Thank you!

  Looks like you found a kernel panic, and they are more and more frequent. There is a great article here that should help you determine if this is something you can troubleshoot I would recommend that you take a look:

• CS6 Dreamweaver crashes when you use Parallels Desktop

  Hello. When I use Dreamweaver CS6 on Mac OS 10.11.6, it crashes a lot. Sometimes, it will be immediately. Sometimes I can use it for a few hours. Do not know what triggers really crash if it saves files, undoing things. It's really random. I have Parallels Desktop 11.2.1 also installed so that I can run Windows on my iMac. I used to run Windows 8.1 and never had any problems with Dreamweaver crashing. When I installed 10 Windows, which seems to be when I started having problems. Not sure if this can even be linked or not. Is there a memory problem Windows 10 is requiring more virtual memory which is causing problems? Or maybe that Dreamweaver has been corrupted somehow?

  How can I contact Support Adobe by phone? He directed me to this forum. I still have the serial for Design & Web Premium key. Can I just download Dreamweaver and then use this key set of the to save so I can uninstall the Dreamweaver I and install again? Which will work? You do not know if this will fix the problem or not, but I thought it would be worth it. Can someone help me? Thank you.

  As John said, CS6 is old software.  But don't give up hope quite yet.

  The first thing to try is to delete the Cache of corrupt in DW.  Make sure that hidden files & folders are in your Mac Finder or Windows Explorer

• Dreamweaver crashes on the fatal XML parsing error

  I use Dreamweaver 8 with Vista 7 and it works perfectly since 2007.

  Today, it crashed for the first time.

  The box on my screen shows: the analysis of structure of document invalid fatal error line: 1 XML file C:\ etc\etc\ gives the file name.

  I have not changed this file since the last time that I used it when it worked perfectly.

  What can I do to get it working?

  Before you use the re-setup, try changing in DW, workspaces.  panelset.XML is a workspace file and yours seems to be corrupted.

  A corrupt cache file can cause all sorts of bizarre behavior, I never heard of this one in particular, but it might do the trick.

  Third attempt to get an answer to this question.

  I installed the trial version of acrobat XI on my system (first mistake).  Then I purcahsed the update the same day second huge mistake).  The acrobat pro XI product has now been purcashed and installed on my new PC.  However, the recall of trail-version to buy the product (an action I've taken) continues to appear on my screen and disrupt my work day.  I tried to contact adobe (thrid huge mistake) and got no help.  At this point, I wish I had just my old adobe 9 instlled and not made the mistake of giving money to adobe so they could hyjack my new PC.  HOW CAN I GET RID OF THIS REMINDER TRIAL VERSION WITHOUT UNINSTALLING THE NEW ADOBE ACROBAT XI I JUST DOWNLOADED TWO DAYS AGO.

  Thanks for this info and choosing the communities Support from Apple. I know how important is able to complete your update to El Capitan at a later date! The good news is that you can simply delete the "install Mac OS X" install app in the Applications folder on your Mac. Then you can open the Mac App Store when you're ready to update and restart the download from the tab updates or searching through the Mac App Store for El Capitan.   Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance).

  Sometimes, when I am trying to load a page (no matter if I just navigate in a Web site, opening a new tab/window, or by train to load a Web site for the first time) firefox will crash just completely. Here's my last five accidents reports:

  I tried to disable the hardware accelerator thing, but there was no change. This has happened for at least 3 weeks now, I think. Any help would be greatly appreciated because at this rate, I'll have to switch to Chrome to save my sanity. I don't really like chrome, but at least chrome does not crash all the time on me.

  To be honest it's not easy to say something about this problem, but maybe your laptop is overheating. Therefore, you must clean your laptop using a jet of compressed air. You can do this without hiding the computer, it takes only a few minutes. :)
