CC of the installation, uninstall CS6?

Just installed my first CC app (Dreamweaver), went well.  I'm a convert CS6 Design Premium.  Compliments to the designers, launched Dreamweaver CC and all my sites were there, no need to re - enter all info.  I have a question, can be a simple, but don't want to move forward without asking.  Now that I made the jump to the CC, I should unstall CS6 completely?  I'm holding out to make one application at a time to ensure that everything is fine, but who uses a lot of space to do it this way (not bad for space, BTW).  They (Adobe) may have done some mods already because this installation seems to be smoother.

Thanks for any input.

Tom

Hi Tom,

You can uninstall CS6 if you do not want to use the version and to save disk space.

However, you would not face problems if you have both versions installed together.

Kind regards

Devika S.

I went through the steps that have been proposed in other threads. It's on a FRESHLY installed Windows 7 64 bit.

When I try to use the Adobe downloader, I get error 101. When I received the Direct download files, I was still unable to extract through the installation of Adobe software. When I tried to extract the files using WinRAR, I got an error message stating that they are corrupt files. I tried to extract the files and download files on all three of my drives (SSD, HDD and laptop HARD drive) and get the same messages.

I'm on an administrator account. I have to retrieve it from my programs or any other folder where I would not write permissions, and I probably have enough space for the installation. Any ideas where I could go wrong?

Well, in case someone happens to have a similar problem... I downloaded on my laptop rather & then copied the files to my external HARD drive. The installation worked without a hitch. It seems that for some reason any the .7z file wouldn't download properly on my PC, no matter what method or the browser I used or drive I DLed to... Obviously a cause for concern on my end, but for now, at least he is finally working.

  • Failed the Installation Photoshop cs6

A year ago I bought an education version of Adobe Photoshop CS6 extended, installed and it worked fine. However, about 6 months ago my laptop crashed and I, of course lost everything. I tried to reinstall CS6 and received the following error message:

Failed installation. Inability to real audit of Adobe software. The product you want to install is not a genuine Adobe software and appears to be counterfeit. Please report a piracy or contact customer support for assistance.

I have not encountered this error before, and don't understand why I get it now. As I said it worked fine before without any problem to install at all. I paid for the copy, I have the code and numbers for verification of product that accepts the facility. I am quite frustrated at this point I've tried several times to install. Is there something I'm supposed to do to re - install or is there a problem with the software itself, and if so how can I solve this?

    HI Lopin\'Girl25 ,.

  • Where can I download the installation for CS6 files?

My CS6 is not on my computer. I installed Lightroom at the same time. I have the code product and serial No., but can not find the disc. How can I get another disc or download the program?

    You can download here http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/cs6-product-downloads.html

and, if you follow the 7 steps, you can download a trial through one of the links on this page using a browser that accepts cookies: http://prodesigntools.com/adobe-cs6-direct-download-links.html

and activate it with your serial number.

If you have a problem downloading, you don't follow all 7 steps.  as a general rule, do not carefully follow steps 1, 2 or 3 is the problem, but your browser must also allow cookies (a setting of restrictive browser) is another potential source of problems.

  • Reinstall the Ps Extended CS6?

I bought Adobe Photoshop Extended CS6 Win EU (Teacher Edition) in March and installed it successfully.

I want to rebuild my computer and reinstall the OS (Windows 7).  I understand that I will have to reinstall all my programs, however, I don't have the installer for CS6.

    Two questions:

    1) can you tell me where I can download this file?  If I go to:

    http://helpx.Adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/CS6-product-downloads.html

Click on "Photoshop CS5, Photoshop CS6 extended", then click on English > Windows > folder 1 of 2 I get this error:

    Access denied

You do not have permission to access to " " http://trials2.Adobe.com/AdobeProducts/PHSP/13/Win32/Photoshop_13_LS16.7z 'on this server.

    Reference #18.1eb7dc18.1375536324.104baa4

    2) once I download this file, rebuild my computer, and then reinstall the Ps, will my original serial number work?

Thank you very much for your help!

    (1) If you follow the 7 steps you can dl a free trial here: http://prodesigntools.com/adobe-cs6-direct-download-links.html

and activate it with your serial number.

If you have a problem dl'g, you don't follow all 7 steps.  the most common mistake is not meticulously follow the steps 1, 2, and/or 3 (which adds a cookie to your system, allowing you to download the correct version of the adobe.com site).

    (2) Yes.  but turn off your previous versions before you uninstall: help > deactivate.

If you experience problems printing, specify the exact brand and model of your printer, the size of the paper, the dimensions of the image in pixels (so many pixels wide by pixels high). If going through a TEAR, specify that too.

A capture of your settings, or the screen image could be very useful also,

Do a clean reinstall and delete the program folder before Firefox to (re) install a new copy of the current version of Firefox.

Make sure that your security software (antivirus) is not blocking files, preventing Firefox update all files in the Firefox program folder.

Download a new copy of Firefox and save the file to the desktop.

Uninstall your current version of Firefox, if possible, the settings in the software security and cleaning of the Windows registry.

    • Do NOT remove the data personal when you uninstall your current version of Firefox, because all profile files will be deleted and you lose personal data such as bookmarks and passwords from other versions of Firefox profiles.

Delete the program folder Firefox before installing newly downloaded copy of the Firefox installer.

    • (32-bit Windows) "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\"
    • (Windows 64 bit) "C:\Program Files (x 86) \Mozilla.

Your bookmarks and other personal data are stored in the Firefox profile folder and will not be affected by a uninstall and (re) install, but make sure that 'delete personal data' is NOT selected when you uninstall Firefox.

If you keep problems also create a new profile.

I need to uninstall the iTunes 12.2.0.145 in Windows 7-32 bit, but I don't have the installation of this version files. Can someone help me, please?

The problem lies in a PC with Windows 7 32 bit

For general advice, see troubleshooting problems with iTunes for Windows updates.

The steps described in the second case are a guide to remove everything related to iTunes and then rebuild what is often a good starting point, unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review other cases and a list of documents to support further down the page, in which case one of them applies.

More information area has direct links with the current and recent if you have problems to download, need to revert to a previous version or try the version iTunes for Windows (64-bit-for old video cards) as a workaround for the problems of performance or compatibility with third-party software.

Your library must be affected by these measures, but it is also related to backup and recovery advice if necessary.
