  DVD in Windows 7 not working/visible player

  2. click on enter
  3. expand your list of CD in Device Manager tree
  4. right click on the optical drive
  5. click on uninstall
  6. restart the system and see if the DVD player works correctly now

• the shortcut for the external drive icons do not appear on the desktop

  Running Windows 7 Home Premium.  None of the shortcut icons of the program (on my external hard drive) appear on the desktop.  Default icons took their place and launch the correct programs when you click it.  I tried to change individual icons in the correct program ones, but that they would not.  They all used to be there!

  I tried to reboot several times but that has not changed anything.

  The only program added or deleated recently was free archiver B1.  I uninstalled immediately after installing and do not actually use it.

  Two possibilities come to mind. • External Drive Icon does not display desktop Mac Mini

  I have a Mac Mini with two connected external drives (2 Tera) and (3 Tera). Yesterday, Tera 2 icon disappeared and when I restarted the icon for Tera 3 missing but the 2 tear icon showed.   The cable was ok because I used on my old hard drive from the laptop into the second slot and it was detected, but you have reason my friend only nt use the cable when he tested the ssd to the computer.
