CDR GW on TMS

Hi all

Does anyone know if TMS 13.1.x may collect or receive logs ISDN GW 3241 (v2.1) CDR?

There is a tab in TMS (in the system, records > call log), but it is always empty.

PS: The Gulf war is added as a system in TMS, with SNMP. In this context, they don t use TMS to plan calls.

Thank you

This is a known bug (CSCts33831), and a fix will be released in Cisco TMS 13.1.2.

You can get 13.1 TMS to pick up the ISDN GW CDRs by running the following SQL query on your database TMSng:

---- INSERT INTO objSystemCDRProcessStatus (SystemId, LastUpdated, LastAttempt, LastEventReceived) SELECT Id,'1900-01-01T00:00:00Z','1900-01-01T00:00:00Z', GETDATE() from objSystem where objSystemType_Id = 41 AND Id in (select Codec_Id from objFolder_System) AND Id NOT IN (select SystemId from objSystemCDRProcessStatus) ----

You'll only run the query once, unless you later add a new GW to your TMS.

• Dial stored in TMS detail report

Hi all

I'm looking for a way to export a CDR stored in TMS: I think that TMS does not export CDRs as XML, right?

In any case, I know that TMS database records the data traffic generated by GST: TMS database looking I found table filled with data and useful information of COR, but now I would like to know:

(1) procedure and the modality used by TMS to fill the table (that is to say, real time, twice daily, every 60 minutes, every 30 minutes...)

(2) as GST stores in its memory up to 2000 files (Ref. < cisco_telepresence="" server="" api-cdr=""> ), and the following data crushes records, are given on the table too crushed DB TMS or added?

Thanks in advance

I think TMS doesn't export CDRs in XML form, right?

Fix.

Anyway I know that TMS DataBase records traffic data generated by TPS: looking at TMS DataBase I found table filled with CDR useful informations and datas, but now I would like to know:

Please do not build business critical applications running on the database of MSDS that the database schema can change in future versions without notice. Consider yourself warned!

1) procedure and modality used by TMS for populating the table (ie real time, one time in a day, every 60 minutes, every 30 minutes...)

For the telepresence server: TMS builds a CDR in seconds from when the TS informed TMS that the Conference is disconnected.

For the MCU of telepresence: microcontrollers, new CDRs are collected every 60 seconds.

2) As TPS stores in its memory up to 2000 records (ref. < cisco_TelePresence Server API-CDR>), and the following data overwrites records, are datas on TMS DB table overwritten too or appended?

No data is never overwritten, unless the administrator chooses explicitly to purge data from the historic call.

• Conductor of telepresence

Hello

Any RDC to export report driver Telepresence is possible, as CUCM. or for having reported, we require MSDS. Pls suggest

Conductor send data CDR what whether you are looking for the moment, see bug CSCuj42268, in order to get the Conference CDRs, you'll need to add conference bridges in MSDS. Below the limits of statement are described with conductor conferences.

• Detail records (CDRs) of appeal conference bridges managed by TelePresence driver will contain all ConferenceIDs.
• Conductor of telepresence itself does not feed back any conference CDRs to Cisco TMS. Bridges will be however, if added to the Cisco TMS.
• According to the direction of the call, you could get incomplete of the COR, as outgoing calls can lead to incorrect data.
• Bridge usage reports is not supported for conferences hosted on a driver of telepresence.

To read these terms and others, refer to the conductor with the TMS (XC3.0 with TMS 14.6) Deployment Guide. You can also check the local CMR Deployment Guides for more information as well.

• Report the user in Question TMS Cisco CDR

Hello

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

I know that you can run the RDC in Cisco TMS user report, however, that draws its stats for all users within TMS. Is there a way to group users in a model may be to only run the report on these users?

Thank you!

Hello Mike.

It is not possible to the users group when you run the CDR of the user report, it appears that all users. The only option I see, you can do this, is to export the report to an Excel spreadsheet and manually group users as you want.

If this is something you would like to see, you can contact your Cisco account manager and ask them to create a feature request for you. However, with most devices that this report is based on (ie: video Jabber for TelePresence, EX60/90, E20), most to soon be EOS if not already, I doubt that they incorporate such an improvement.

• C20/SX20: is there a way to get the cdr with loss/jitter of the stats?

I'm trying to get a report with loss/jitter, but doesn't cdr can not find a way to do it.

(a) TMS is able to report COR but only on the participants/duration/encryption/protocol of appeal

(b) C20 web gui has information but only with a number of clicks on and only for a call each time

(c) API C20 (cli) I found some commands, but nothing for the loss/jitter
I tried xstatus Diagnostics appeal channels-> only for calls in progress.
tried xHistory recent CallLogs | Call-> nothing usable

Is it possible to get the cdr with jitter/loss for each C20/SX20 counters in a framework?

Methods to obtain these data is exactly what you have listed and must be carried out during the call.

• Reports > CDR > time user CDR

Hi all

I'm under TMS V13.0 with VCS 6.1 and we were see CDR USER CDR Records and now we are not. Is there a time limit as to how often they appear? If I make a call 8 PM CST and my server TMS in CSE. I hang up the call 8:10 PM CST I'd be able to go in the CDR Records and see the call displayed record immediately or is there a period of time it is updated. CDR Records have something to do with the replication Agent MSDS?

New to this part of TMS any advice would be appreciated.

Walter,

It's very interesting, your location is totally different from mine, yet we never had problems with our CDRs or MOVI CDRs.

• TMS does not COR of VCS Control collect

Hi all

Our TMS does not collect call Record of VCS control detail.

(Reports > call detail record > Gatekeeper and VCS)

He collected CDR properly until 2 August.

But it does not collect no COR from 3 August until today even if many calls are housed.

We have not changed configurations of MSDS and the VCS.

What should I check on TMS and VCS?

Any advice is welcome

Best regards

As mentioned in Magnus, is a known issue with X7.2 for CDR.

Symptom:

TMS will not to CDR data type 'Gatekeeper and VCS' and the journal-web - public.txt in TMS log file will contain entries that are similar to the:

---> Tandberg.TMS.SystemAPI.OakPine.InvalidStateException: expected to find, but on the other hand find.

at Tandberg.TMS.SystemAPI.OakPine.XMLFeedbackReader.AssumePositionedAtTag (XmlReader, String tag player)

-End of the exception stack trace internal-

TMS Version 13.2.1

Background:

Due to a change in the feedback XML VCS sends to TMS for events related to calls connection / disconnection, TMS is not able to correctly interpret the XML data provided by the VCS. For this reason, TMS is not capable of generating records CDR based on feedback data provided by the VCS.

Workaround:

Currently, there is no workaround known workaround for this issue when executing software X7.2 on VCS. X7.1 and earlier versions of the VCs are not affected by this problem.

This will be fix with the next maintenance release, X7.2.1.

• No CDR MCU logs on MSDS

Hey cisco-ster!

I have 2 simple questions about interoperability TMS (14.3.2).

(1) when it comes to Reporting-call detail Records-MCU, I couldn't see all the folders on the chart.

Even if the MCU is properly registered on MCU (4.1), the records do not show on this page. Also, I could see the proceedings of each saved settings.

(2) with the logs of packet loss on the MSDS report category, I couldn't see newspapers of the MXP endpoint C-series (TC6).

I missed some configuration? or both work as designed?

I'd appreciate a response to this topic!

Thank you

MCU software 4.1 is quite old (2010?), so we haven't tested it systematically with TMS 14.3.2. Would upgrading to 4.4 be an option?

I've done some research more and asynchronous bridge of TMS CDR mechanism requires MCU 4.2 and later. I highly recommend upgrading your software MCU.

If upgrading is not an option, check that the receiver of the feedback is set that correctly on the MCU and then create a network trace to watch how TMS responds to feedback. TMS always responds with a 200 OK? Whatever it be recorded in the log-web - TMS public.txt?

• How to watch a file .cdr on a mac?

Hi, I have copied a DVD to my hard drive using disk utility. I did this as a return to the top the DVD becomes damaged or lost. I can make a DVD out of it, so all right. But I want to be able to watch the DVD directly from the hard drive that is to say of the. CDR file.

Is this possible? Advice welcome. Alternative approaches welcomed if the above is not possible.

Thanks in advance.

Yes, you can watch a DVD on your Mac, but not directly from this file. You will first need to convert it. This process may or may not be legal; proceed at your own risk. (Most people hold that they should be allowed to watch their own DVD in any way they like.)

Download Handbrake (handbrake.fr) and install it. This software allows you to "rip" DVD, which converts the video in a format that is essentially useful and saves it on your computer. You should be able to use disk copy utility or the disk itself. Just point handbrake to one or the other when he asks for a source, and then type a destination (e.g. office) and name (for example my-movie-01) of the file in the destination field, select a preset (Apple TV 3 is a good starting point), then press the Green Start up button.

• Writing on DVD + R, DVD - R and CDR on M300 - what's up?

I'd like some comments on this post. I missed something - or Toshiba have a problem with their software on M300s distribution.

I run a small business, and have a network of 8 PCs. I am constantly evolving of DELLs - and I have just purchase a M300 after very careful consideration. I bought a Multidrive DVD.

I've gradually been bringing the laptop to speed by installing office software, my own files, partitioning of the main drive to separate OS/programs and my Docs. I then added the "additional software" (from CD) provided by Toshiba. Everything seemed hunky dory - so I thought I would create an image (using Acronis image) on DVD - just in case.

Imagine my surprise when I discovered that the placement of a DVD-R in the drive, it has not been recognized - and could not be formatted. Even with DVD + R. The error message made it clear that the OEM software provided by Toshiba (Sonic DLA) does not recognize these media types (or COR). After a lot of hunting, there is a short note to this effect, buried in the text "read me". By visiting the website of Sonic, they argue that some versions of OEM of DLA will not work with the write-once format discs.
So much for multiformat!

I then considered using the recovery disk, I had already made (and tested) using the Toshiba Recovery console - just to get the system back to a State first. However, I couldn't read the disc. Once again on the Sonic site there is a list of the compatibility problems with DLA - and one of these programs is WinDVD - one of the two programs that Toshiba provides on his CD "additional Software"! It still gave me problems with the reading recovery disk?

So now I'm almost snookered.

Fortunately, using a combination of Ghost and image I managed to get back to a working laptop.

Then, I uninstalled Sonic DLA and installed an alternative (Pinnacle InstantCD/DVD). Now I can record to CDR, DVD - RW, DVD + R, DVD - R.

So my question is this.

Was I forgetting something - or is the version of Sonic DLA provided (closed 4.95 - build 490B41C) inadequate? Similarly is it wise to group "additional software" (Win DVD) that is listed as having an incompatibility with DLA?

Hello

I'll try and help you with that. First of all, the drive is listed as Multi format to read multiple forms of media. However, and this is the crutch that not all media is the same and does the same specifications. As such, there are inconsistancies and incompatabilities, and while these are few and far between you will always get problems. Second, you cannot format a DVD-r or + R disc you can format only - rw.
According to the version of Sonic shipped on these machines is not a full version, and not later, because since the software was loaded on the machine and then sold Sonic may have released a newer version and why are they doing this? Well because find a fault or an incompatibility with some type of media and need to get out an update to make it work. It's pretty common, and if you use Sonic, nero or others that you'll find it. If you do a recovery DVDs on a DVD with compatibility problems you might get trouble. The fact that you show where able to make it work with another application the problem is with the software and DVD disc and not material in the machine. While I see that this doesn't help much, I want to emphasize that it is not uncommon and will be almost the same for all manufacturing.

Now, I personally recommend divert you to Sonic and use the latest version of the Nero software, this in my opinion is far superior and works with virtually all media.

In response to your question, no you don't have not overlooked anything. Is it wise to this software? Well I think for 99% of all cd/dvd media. If however you have the 1% or so this does not work then I guess that you have right to be annoyed. The most important thing is that you have found something that works in Pinnacle, I would go with that, its probably a better software package anyway.

• Combo CDR/DVD SDR2102 drive will not read CDs or DVDs

Hello

I have a mobile Ergo Elite 4.
The hard drive crashed and I bought a new one.
I have loaded windows XP by using a boot disk but cannot get the Toshiba SDR2102 CDR/DVD combo drive to work. I had to load windows on via USB
using a USB port.

I can see the drive in windows Explorer, but it will not read the CD or DVD.
I looked in the Device Manager, and it came with no warning mark.
I tried deleteting, re-startup and he's back in the Device Manager.

I'm trying to find a better driver, but it says that I use the best driver.
I tried various Web sites using sand everywhere tells me that I do not need a driver for this drive.
What I do, it seems as if the Combo driver is recognized but it will not be read whatever it is inserted, he said only: insert the disc.

Does anyone know what I can try? or know where I can get drivers for it or software to test the drive?

any help would be appreciated. :-(
Some.

Hello

You n t need a special driver for the CD/DVD drive.
CD/DVD players use the current Microsoft drivers already contained in the Windows operating system.

In my opinion, you should first test different types of media. Please note that not all CD or DVD s are compatible. Distribute readers can't handle bad quality mediums.

But we shouldn't t rule out a risk of hardware malfunction.
Disk failure and you may wish to contact your dealer for a replacement.

• Carpet * does not play a UJ - 846 s CDR and DVDR player

I think that the drive is a carpet * a s drive, uj - 846.
It used to play and read the CDR and DVDR, but now it doesn't.
How can I fix?

The computer recognize even there is a disc in the drive now when I put one less than his Blanck.

It looks a bit like a hardware problem. What do you think?

Before I will propose the replacement of CD/DVD drive you must remove the drive from Device Manager and reboot the laptop.
After the restart new BONE will again install the CD/DVD drive

In addition, you should access the registry and should remove the Upperfilters and Lowerfilters completely from the following registry key values:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Class\ {4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}

Last bbut not least, you should try different CD and DVD media.
If this wil help nto the chances are that the player works bad and must be replaced.

• Remove wheel status of cdr with photos on it

problem change the read only on a cdr with photos on it...

Hi qruvic,

Welcome to the Microsoft Answers site.

Looks like this read-only status has been added when you wrote the data on the CD.

You can optionally change the status read-only on a CD - R once data is written on this subject.

However, you can copy the contents of the CD, save it to your drive and try to change the attributes.

Method 1: Remove the read-only file attribute in the file properties

To change a read-only file:

1. right click on the file and then click Properties.

2. in the Properties dialog box, click the general tab, and then select the read-only check box.

3. to make changes to a read-only file, clear the read-only check box, or save the file under a different name.

Reference:

What is a read-only file or folder?

http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/what-is-a-read-only-file-or-folder

Edit a file read-only

http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/change-a-read-only-file

If you are still unable to do so by following the steps above, then you try this method.

Method 2: Remove the read-only attribute while copying the files using the Xcopy command

You can use the xcopy command to remove the read-only attribute while you copy files from a CD-ROM. Xcopy.exe resets the read-only attributes unless you specify another by using the /k switch (this switch copies attributes). To use this method:

1. click on start and then click Run.
2. in the Open box, type cmd and then click OK.
3. type xcopy drive letter:-*. * destination/e/h, where drive letter is the letter of the CD-ROM drive and is the path to the destination for the destination files and then press ENTER

It should work. Kind regards
