Cells, vCenter Proxy service does not. Qrtz_tables request?
Kia Ora.
Have vCloud 5.5 (latest), vcenter & esxi 5.5u1 in a small 2 host environment.
Just noticed that no one can perform operations that affect the vCenter. Restarted the lot beautifully. No change.
Looked at the topic vSphere resources vCenters and have checked status green, but with the words "error performing operation". When I open it it there was an error "Could not find the cell performing this listening port."
Which lead me to the cloud (2) cells that have no check mark vCenter error "No cells have an ongoing vCenter to run proxy service". Perform a reconnect has not fixed this State.
I remember that 'back in the day' lol, you jumped in the SQL database and discarded around the qrtz_tables. Such as found in this link.
http://www.Boche.net/blog/index.php/2011/12/16/vCloud-Director-and-vCenter-proxy-service-failure/
Someone at - it suggestions? Following this link for vCloud 5.5 would be still valid solution to this problem?
Cheers and have a great day!
the process is still valid for 5.5.x generation.

vCenter Server Service does not start after P2V
Hello community.
A problem that I have not been able to solve and looking for help.
Problem:
vCenter Server Service does not start after that Windows Server was P2V would be. We get an ERROR 2 of the Service. Get the error of the system Windows 7024 event log.
History:
The client, I currently work with that tries to smash to the high location of the DEV VCENTER. Location of DEV vcenter works now all for this site (domains, dns and all development servers). If its VCENTER PRODUCTION of this location. Currently, SQL Server (dedicated to vCenter), VCENTER and SSO are all sitting on the same box. Let's break the SSO, SQL and VCENTER in their own servers. However, the client wants to re - use the current physical server for SQL Server. So I need P2V physical server existing until I can start the new environment.
I was able to get all of the services working on the virtual vCenter (SQL, SSO, Update Manager etc etc) but have been unable to get the real vCenter Server Service works. Fails every time with the 2 ERROR Code. I was unable to get a KB of VMWARE item that corresponds to the issue I'm having. ERROR 2 code has many articles and none have worked.
Details:
vCenter 5.1 Build 799731
SQL 2008 R2
Windows 2008 R2
When the vCenter Service tries to start it will stop at the 50% mark and gives this error: (I removed the names for security reasons)
Windows could not start the VMware VirtualCenter server on <server name>. For more information, see the system event log. If it is a non-Microsoft service, contact the service vendor and refer to service 2-specific error code
When I saw the Windows system event log I get this error:
EVENT ID: 7024
The VMware VirtualCenter Server service stopped with the error special service that the system cannot find the specified file...
When I go through the vpxd log file I see this at the end of the newspaper: (I removed the names for security reasons)

I pulled the virtual machine in a laboratory and all network problems that would be removed to isolate. Now the VCENTER is shouting at this topic it can't find one of its guests in the vdxp log, but that shouldn't matter. All Services have been changed for local accounts. All network and ODBC parameters are able to see the server... aka the server can see. I didn't remove any software or drivers for the VM (techniques it is my third P2V to the same server for testing reasons)... And the only thing that won't start is always VCENTER SERVER... SSO is started, SQL is launched...
Also everything remained the same on the virtual machine (DNS, IP, NAME etc etc). Stop the physical and start-up it upward don't show any problems. Only when its summer P2V would have done that themselves.
I can't get this number. Need help.
Thoughts?
Thank you
BostonTechGuy
In this case, we have finished rebuilding the vCenter and all migrate on. Wish had better put up-to-date, but ultimately, it's what has been done.
Thank you

vCenter VC service does not start
vSphere 4.1 running on WIN2K8 R2 ENT 64 bit.
The center of the vCenter Server virtual server service does not start.
I migrated just box 32-bit physical in a 64-bit vm and the following documentation for VMware, I migrated to the database successfully last week. Everything seemed to work ok after. However, when I arrived this morning, I noticed that I can not connect, so I opened vSphere client on the host computer and consoled in. I noticed that the service wasn't working, so I tried to start it and I received the following message:
Event ID 7024 with the following in the system log:
"The VMware VirtualCenter Server service stopped with the error special service that the system cannot find the file specified."
I restarted the VM server, but neither VC service or Web services Mgmt Services were running. I started VC temporarily, but he stopped.
I checked the system event log and found this error event:
"The service of Server VMware VirtualCenter ended unexpectedly. It has done this 1 time. The following corrective action will be taken in 300000 milliseconds: restart the service. »
After digging in the application log, I seem to have the found guilty (EVENT ID 9002):
"For the 'VIM_VCDB' database transaction log is full. To find out why space in the log cannot be reused, see the log_reuse_wait_desc column in sys.databases"
I know this has something to do with SQL, but there is no SQL Studio Mgt installed on this box.
How can I there to remedy?
Thank you
Alex

This view instance has 4 brokers of the connection running on Windows Server 2008 R2:
The environment has been upgraded 2 years of view 4.6 see 5.0. When view 4.6 was used there were 2 additional 32-bit Windows connection brokers in the mix as well, but they were all disabled both in the from view 5.0 5.0 update requires Windows 64-bit. They have been disabled but NOT completely removed from the view. As part of my troubleshooting this problem, I decided to delete these two brokers disabled connection of the system since it seemed as if they were causing errors in synchronization between brokers.
Here are my steps, I took this day and in this order as far as I remember the:
1.) restart vCenterServer services, including the management of VMware webservices
2.) full restart the server vCenter
3) Started digging through logs of connection broker to see if something stood in there - found that there was a warning message not being able to connect to https://< vcenterserver >: 443/sdk. Found a number of articles and posts on the service account no longer works. Verify that the service account was not locked and that he worked in logging on to the server vCenter via RDP successfully.
4.) published at the entrance of the vCenter Server View Manager and re-entered the account password and ensure he was still able to connect successfully and that it can.
5.) other searches on the site of VMware KB and communities find an article indicating that the time on connection brokers can be out of sync. Double and connected on each of the brokers control the weather was everything in harmony and it is.
6.) checked to make sure that all LDAP databases are synchronization correctly - this is where I decided to remove former brokers not used environmental and force a replication successful each of the neighbors brokers by using the repadmin utility.
7.) after forcing replication, I went in a restarted the Mangment vCenter web services again. -At this point, the connection between the broker and vCenter server came back, but the pool that has a removal pending task has not continued and seemed stuck.
8.) about 5 to 10 minutes the communication error with the vCenter exploded back up again.
Also of note, this environment is connected to a different vCenter and working well with no error or stuck tasks.
Someone at - he of the additional things I should try?
Thank you
Jason D.
Has worked with VMware Support on this and it appeared that the brokers were not quite in sync, even after forced synchronization, I ran previously. Finish restarting brokers (a both of course) to make things synchronized back to the top.

vCenter Server service does not start after you run Windows updates
On a regular basis, my vCenter Server service fails to start after the automatic updates of windows are applied. The vCenter server is a datacenter 2008R2 VM.
The only other running applications are PerfectDisk and agents of ESET NOD32 - vCenter is in 4.1. I tried to adjust the vCenter Server and WedAdmin service of delayed start, but that doesn't seem to make a big difference. The following errors are displayed in the case of the newspaper which lead me to think the issue is related to SQL:
SQL Server is not ready to accept new client connections. Wait a few minutes and try again. If you have access in the error log, look for the informational message that indicates that SQL Server is ready before trying to connect again. CUSTOMER:: 1
The description for event ID 1000 from source VMware VirtualCenter Server can not be found. Either the component that triggers this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.
If the event is on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.
The following information has been included in the event:
Could not initialize the VMware VirtualCenter. Closing...
the message resource is present, but the message is not in the string/message table
Anyone encountered this before?
Hello.
I didn't know this, but the info in Ko 1007669 may be useful.

vCenter server service does not start
Prakash,
Some of the steps I followed:
vCenter 4
(1) check check DB connectivity - according to your type of database via ODBC
(2) check the vpxd.log file and capture the symptoms of failure (focused on mistakes just before the closing msg vCenter service)
(3) search DB size values and details of free space
(4) is it any change password next to DB? If so update via command-line vpxd.exe
(5) if the troubleshooting DB is clear - so focus on components vCenter as corruption of the inventory service
(6) Finally the permissions on the folder of installation of vCenter
vCenter 5
(1) check check DB connectivity - according to your type of database via ODBC
(2) check the vpxd.log file and capture the symptoms of failure (focused on mistakes just before the closing msg vCenter service)
(3) search DB size values and details of free space
(4) is it any change password next to DB? If so update via command-line vpxd.exe
(5) if the troubleshooting DB is clear - so concentrate on vCenter components such as SSO
(6) make sure SSO listening on the correct port number SQL (checking the value in DB SQL via sql management studio console) - ask your team to SQL
(7) once all SSO components are clear then check for the inventory service
(8) Finally the permissions on the folder of installation of vCenter
NOTE: I tried to collect most of the steps based on my experience and you can open cases with VMware for better troubleshooting steps

Hello!
As you can guess Windows Update is not installed for a few months. Cryptographic services does not start . CPP is the beginning.
Error: 80070426
Already tried a few suggestions MSKB.
Method 2: Set Cryptographic Services to automatic, network logon. Result: Error (unsigned) 1083
Method 3: Rename the Catroot2 folder
Reregister DLL files that are associated with Cryptographic Services.
However, suite couldn ' t be installed.regsvr32 initpki.dll
regsvr32 gpkcsp.dllregsvr32 sccbase.dll
regsvr32 slbcsp.dllDCOM service - access denied when running.
sfc/scannow couldn't fix some corrupted files.
Computer HP laptop came with Vista pre-installed, so I do not have the repair disk.
No doubt the system restore won't help, as I remember recently that c-Cleaner wiped the old restore points.
NOD32 Antivirus + Spyware Doctor still running. Already run MSRT and Super Spyware, but nothing much.
Kindly help!
Kind regards

Finally, I worked it out myself. But it's painful to watch than virtually any other that Uday has responded to my problem. Something I've been waiting for so eagerly.
I applied my common sense and defragmented the dirives then sfc/scannow, and it worked. Cryptographic Services said when I began to log in as network account. So my problem is solved. Now, windows update works fine.
Interestingly, Microsoft Fix it, says it cannot start the Cryptographic Services. Are God, while the _____ you supposed to difficulty? It made Internet Explorer icon on my desktop and other places.

The proxy server does not-Windows Internet Explorer
After completing the windows updates, I started getting the following message every time I tried to enter in IE10: the proxy server does not-Windows Internet Explorer.
1. try changing the proxy server settings in Internet Options > connections > LAN settings. All the options are greyed out, cannot be changed.
2. I checked that I am an administrator on the computer user.
3. get the same error message, both wired and wireless configurations in.
4. do you have a restore point at an earlier date - the same error.
5A attempted to use Firefox 15.0.1 and I get the error message: the proxy server refuses connections

the inventory of VMware service does not start, the wrong function, bad sql server port
I've migrated vcenter SQL database to a new server after this KB
but now most of the vcenter services does not start cause of according to the inventory service. I see service log of inventory which is the problem, it tries to connect to SQL Server by default, 1433 port, but my SQL server instance is listening on a different fixed port, I don't want to change. Where can I configure the inventory service we another port of SQL Server? According to a KB related to the above, it is possible to do
but unfortunately I have vcenter 6 and the instructions above do not seem to apply, I can't even find ssocli, the mentioned folder structure does not exist on my installation
Thank you.I solved this. Despite what has been reported in the newspaper the issue was not the port. The new database is a named instance, the connection string for vcdb.properties, he entered as the server name = hostname\instancename in fact, it is necessary to use two slashes return hostname\\instancename :-/

VMware View Manager "service does not work correctly."
Location:
I have 2 view connection Server 5.1.1 (VCS01 and VCS02) and VMware vCenter 5.0 1 u1 (VC01). The vCenter server is added to the view configuration and works without a problem. I don't use composer in this configuration, and I have a certificate installed, valid SSL on 3 servers.
question:
If I could connect the console administrator from view of VCS01 and I change something of the setting in "View Configuration\Servers\vCenter servers" vCenter server, vCenter server service turns red in the dashboard view admin with the status: 'the service does not work properly. This produces a few minutes later.
The setting I changed allowed caching of size on a particular server.
If I check the log on the second server View (VCS02), I see the following errors:

I had similar errors when I enabled cached host and had to give my user VC the privilege to change the configuration advanced options for guests. It's so she can allow the CBRC in advanced settings. (not in the documentation).
It seems however, that your VC username missing certain necessary rights. I suggest double check for you rights user VC and take a look at your logs of VC. It should give you some info.

Hello. I have try to add view transfer Server Infrastructure and get the problems of follow-up:
1. after that I have add forwarding server to "transfer servers" in the view manager, he is "on hold" and "missing transfer Server Repository. But on the record transfer servers 'System health' dashboard of my server in red and error is "the service does not work properly.
2. If I try to put the server in maintenance mode, status is changed to "pending maintenance mode" and nothing happens at all. Server to remain in this State forever.
I tried with two servers, Windows Server 2008 R2 and Windows 2003 Server R2. Both the same problem. I can't get another clue what is the problem.
NIC is E1000, static IP and 'LSI Logic parallel' as a SCSI controller
What can I do?
Thanks for all replies.
Change the role of the administrator of your view (or whatever the account that is used to manage the server transfer has role) on vCenter and put a tick in the box for Global-manage custom attributes.

at one point in time and after any particular event, my laptop (Pavilion x 2-10-n109nl with Win10x64) started does not recognize the audio device. It displays a red x is close to the 'Volume' icon in the taskbar notification as if no audio device installed and lists an "unknown device" in Device Manager. Find that this unknown device has been "Intel ESS Audio Device (WDM)" and managed to install it with Intel drivers went back to 01/12/2016, so for the moment I had all audio devices is properly set up and works, but the Red Cross disappear and if I try to start Windows troubleshooting service it says "Audio services does not. This who can I try to do to get the problem resolved?
Thank you all,.
F.

You can try to do a reset of the BIOS. To reload the factory-installed BIOS configuration settings, perform the following steps:
In the BIOS Setup utility, select the tab out.
Select message Load Setup Defaults.
Select Save Changes and Exit (pressing F5 and the Enter key will also load default configuration).
Press ESC, then press Enter to exit the installation program.

Equium M40X: Cannot print - not done. Print Spooler service does not
My notebook Equium M40X has suddenly decided to stop from allowing me to print, gives me the message "operation was not completed. "print spooler service does not. I get this message even when you try to install the original installed printer drivers.
To resolve this problem, I went to the services.msc to attempt to start the print spooler, but the command is not here present and seems to be missing. I also tried to launch it by clicking Start and then run and typing "net start spooler", but even once, it does not. Can anyone help with this?
My laptop is an Equium M40X and the operating system is Windows XP Service Pack 2.
Hello
This error occurs because the spooler service has not been started or has stopped working.
It seems that this error is known to Microsoft and they decided to public an article in the knowledge base that could help solve this problem.http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/314876
As you say that the spooler service must be restarted.
To start the spooler service, follow these steps:
1. click on start and then click Control Panel.
2. double-click Administrative Tools and then click Services.
3. double-click on the Printer Spooler service and then change the startup type to automatic. This option sets the spooler service starts automatically when you restart the computer.
4. If you want to start the spooler service immediately, click the Start button under the Service status fieldIf you will not be able to restart the spooler service, you can try to restore the Windows operating system to the point initially by using the Windows System Restore tool.
