Change color in Photo-JPEG QuickTime format

Why the output file in this format is not equal to the color of the source ???

But in black and white area ok (green arrow). Only in colors (red arrow).

"Match Legacy After Effects . QuickTime Gamma adjustments" does not help.

I already did this comparison a year earlier () or two). Et everything was fine !

How can I now go back normal color?

I have several black silhouettes which are JPEG files - is there a way for me to change the color of the clipart in indesign?

The previous answer is not quite accurate. It depends on the color of the jpeg mode.

InDesign can colorize grayscale mode or "bitmap" mode (1 - bit black and white) images that don't contain transparency. JPEG files don't support transparency, so they can be colorized, if they are true grayscale or black and white, not RGB or CMYK that "looks like" in black and white.

Place one of these images and select it, then go in the info panel and check the color mode. She said levels of grayscale or bitmap, you that's ready to go if you need to use an image editor to change the mode of color first.

If the mode is good you can either select the image with the direct Selection (white arrow) tool, and then choose a shade to use as a color fill, or you can simply drag a swatch in the Panel and drop it on the image. The color will be applied to 100% for the black pixels, 0% of white pixels and something in between for grays. You can also use a color fill on the picture frame which is different from the color that you apply to the image itself for an effect from a Duotone of sorts.

  • Re: Question of color photos JPEG export

Just discovered this problem myself, it of a big disappointment since I work in a studio doing Visual effects and tried to defend the features of After Effects as a tool of great composition of hordes of users Nuke looking down the tip of their nose to After Effects for years.   After trying everything to solve this problem, including scouring bulletin boards and forums without finding a solution to this, I finally got on a chat session with someone from tech at Adobe.  After they me asked to run all the tests that I had already run unsuccessfully, final suggestions for the Adobe agent was this:

"Well maybe can't do after effects; I'm sorry. »

Despite the expertise of this person, I refuse to believe that there is no solution.  But until there is one, I have to make my Photo - Jpeg using Nuke quicktimes, which will probably lead to my finally give up After Effects and pass it once and for all.  I hate to throw away years of experience and to make each AE plug-ins you can name, but if I can't do my job because Adobe can't make them then, that leaves few options.

  • Lightroom 3 and CS5 color change when recording to JPEG

Desperately need help on this one...

In a nutshell if I use lightroom 3 only and print the images printed images are exactly the same on the screen - so I guess the calbration of the screen is correct.

If I use lightroom 3 and export to CS5 to continue to make adjustments more when I save the image in jpeg, it seems to have saved well. However if you then maximize the photo in full-screen colors change - radically. Basically, they look aweful. They become quite dull and lose it saturation settings (which were made originally in Lightroom). They print this much too.

It drives me crazy. I don't think that it has nothing to do with the calibration because it is OK when just using LR3.

I played with it quite a bit to try to find a solution and have found that if I export for CS5 and Lightroom makes no changes to the photos but just save - she always changes the colors

Sorry - if it makes a difference... may not, but I have not exported from lightroom for CS5.

Everything I do is select the right click, click on edit in the > Adobe Photoshop CS5.1...

Then in CS5 it opens and appears exactly the same as in LR

From there, I click on file > save under > Jpeg formats and there is an another labeled checked - ICC profile: Prophoto RGB (not really sure what it is and there is no other options to change)

I tried to show a difference in color by joining the photo.

Photo right is edited in Lightroom. These colors are what you see when it is maximized on screen and the colors print correctly too. This photo has been open and then in CS5 (photo left) (with LR adjustments) and saved as jpeg and you can see how to change the colors. But you do not see the change unless the screen is completely optimized - and she that prints a lot too.

I don't know what to do someone had similar problems?

    LR3 and CS5.png

Yes.  Had something similar last night, but with LR 4.1. I suspect that we each have a color profile mismatch, although I had no time to solve my problem yet.

My first thought is that the native LR color space is Prophoto default, but PhotoShop must have its 'working color space' specified by the user.  Unless Prophoto is specified in PS, there will be differences in color on a Prophoto image scale (sensitivity) of color-travel will vary from one image to the opening image.

To change the workspace in PS, pull down the Edit menu and select "color settings".

Don't forget to check the box to inform you and ask how you want to handle the inadequacy of the color profile.

As the previous poster said, prophoto is a bad choice for the use of the web.  probbaly the most commonly used color space sRGB is relatively low

    Good luck.

  • How to stop the b/w photos change color?

I use LR 2.7 on a Mac and this weekend for the first time, I put my camera in black and white mode and took a series of raw photos. When I imported all fell on black and white film, but as soon as I started to see that they have changed color. I know that the raw file contains all data of color etc.  but I wanted to really work on the black and white camera image and not from a color image? What I've done wrong? How can I stop it changing in the future when I shoot raw files?

Lightroom knows little or nothing of your process parameters in camera. Then, setting the unit of B & W and wait for the images to display properly is futile. Next post Forum FAQS should help to explain why http://forums.adobe.com/thread/358016?tstart=0

If you really want your images to appear under the name B & W in Lightroom you can apply one of the B & W presets to develop during import.

I made a slideshow a few years ago using iPhoto and exported in the form of film. It uses transitions strongly, especially of crossfades. • Photo-jpeg lacks 2015,3 QT output module settings?

I just installed the latest version of AE (2015.3) on a new computer Win 10. I'm trying to set up the same way, I am using AE on my old computer, but I'm stumped when it comes to rendering. I had a defined output Module that uses the QuickTime format, and the video codec is Photo-jpeg. It was not listed as a codec available in this new facility. So I thought, okay, I have to install QT (even though I was trying to avoid it making).

So I installed QT, but Photo-jpeg still is not listed. What I am doing wrong?

    Thank you

    Ken

This article (and most of the others I read on the issue) is terribly exaggerated. For troubleshooting purposes, uninstall QuickTime and reinstall completely. (Just don't browse the web anywhere very suspect and click a QuickTime component, while it is installed.) And try that.

  • 6520 HP scan the docs of color like B & W a MacBook - PDF & color scanned photo docs are fragmented

    I have a HP Photosmart 6520 all-in-one printer/scanner/copier... I use a MacBook Pro, which has Mountain Lion OSX 10.8.2. I've linked the 6520 wireless via a "n" wireless TP Link ADSL2 modem/router.

I scan a document of color for the MBP, using 6520 display panel, if I choose (in the settings) "Scan Type > Document (PDF)", the result is a PDF black & - not white. I would have thought that he would transmit the color scanner. It never occurred to ask me about it when I bought the camera.

If, on the contrary, for the same color paper, I select "Scan Type > Photo (JPEG)" the result is more "fragmented".jpeg files, each showing only a small element of the scanned rather than see the page as a feature complete in a single file (but they come out in color!).

I'm something wrong or missing something? Is B & W PDF standard? How can I force a color document can be completely copied into a .jpeg file? Once more, any advice will be accepted with gratitude.

    Hello

    6. in the expanded menu now, open the drop-down next to the Mode
    7. now select the color option, and then click OK to save the changes. The next scanned using this workflow is displayed in color.

In addition the default workflow analysis configured to identify the bigoted elements. Be sure to change the scanning settings to not crop the area swept as follows:

  • Problems with Photo JPEG mov

    Hi people,

I need to edit Photo JPEG and MJPEG files in Quicktime (mov) on Windows 7 format in first Pro CS5. When I play the files from Quicktime player, they play very well, at 1280 x 720. But when I import into first or Adobe Media Encoder, it tells me that they are 160 x 120. If I have more I just get jaggy fuzzy artifacts. In fact, I noticed in Quicktime that they will open by default like 160 x 120, and only when I select "Normal size" they play at 1280 x 720. These files play very well in VLC before even I installed Quicktime.

No idea why first think they are 160 x 120? How can I get to recognize these files to the appropriate size of 1280 x 720?

    Thank you

    Lyle

Try MPEG Streamclip for Windows; It is downloadable for free, without installation required.

Of SBDAs with Streamclip to open, and then select file > save as choose MOV serving of container (should be default) and choose a name/location; Save the file. This will basically copy the video to the first file in a new and correct of the weird questions like this is sometimes useful.

If it works, you can add all files to a batch (under the menu list) and do the same for each of them. It should be fast because there is no reencoding past, just a repackaging.

  • 'Windows 7' color scheme is missing from the menu "change color scheme".

I restarted my netbook once after trying in vain to change my background, and suddenly the taskbar, the start menu and all the windows that I raise look old, like Windows 98-style. I searched "themes" and got "Change color scheme" on a result. All that was there were four options of "High contrast" and "classic Windows". I googled the problem and a solution I found was to do EXACTLY what I did... except on the menu they showed, there was a color scheme option "Windows 7 Basic" in the same menu. I guess it has been deleted in the menu scheme of color somehow; is it possible to restore it?

    Hey, Jordan.

I know that this could be solved more easily if you had access to the personalization Gallery to choose the basic theme.  Unfortunately, it is not included in Windows 7 Starter.  My best for you right now would be the system restore, restore your system configuration "in time" to before the beginning of the question.

Please note that the system restore only restores the backup copies of the key system files and run a system restore will lose not or "roll back" any of your files, emails, documents, photos, or anything else.  In addition, if you run the restore and you don't like the results for some reason, you can cancel it immediately.  All the restoration takes about 3 minutes.

To start, type in the word "Restore" in your search box on your Start menu.

If it solves your problem, click on the link "Propose as answer" below and vote as useful by clicking on the green triangle for the lelft. Thank you!
