  Hi, I have Windows 7 and the Sound Blaster Recon 3D PCIe audio device. In the last few weeks, I noticed that some videos will play without problem and some have the following problem: the music and ads are ok. Videos with speaking parts (last tested on the episode of Letterman with Tina Fey as a guest) does not work well. Specifically, I hear a noise when they speak. But if I keep place the volume of the speaker (on the icon) and keep clicking the open icon, the sound begins to get stronger and you can actually hear it above his ' ding ding ' by clicking on the icon of the speaker volume. I've never had this happen before. I don't think I did something different from my usual activities lately and haven't downloaded all new program. Music plays without problem.   Just an update.  Problem solved. Faulty speaker connections. Did not touch the connections before the problem, so not sure what happened to these connections, but the problem is resolved. Thank you.

  Keep in mind that WordPerfect 7 is a very old version - eight versions. Usually very old versions of almost any program do not work on newer versions of Windows. I don't know about you, but I suspect that you must upgrade to a newer version of WordPerfect.

  I am using SSH tunnels to create a SOCKS proxy. When I used Firefox 23 it works fine, when I use a recent version of every night, don't worry. I use an add-on of FoxyProxy normally, but I tried to turn it off completely and use the proxy settings internal (SOCKS, localhost, 6789) then it does not work either.

  I tried to run every night in safe mode and manually set the SOCKS proxy and it works as assumed.

  It is also indicative of a problem with an add-on. Use the method in the link I posted above to identify what is causing the problem.

• Problem with the touchpad: Tap to click does not work if I use a standard account

  Hi all

  I have a problem with my laptop that I don't understand and I need help from the community.
  As the title says... If I connect to my laptop using a standard account the touchpad does not work if I try to tap to click. Left and right buttons work, move the slider works, works of scrolling, but endearing tape... not even a single tap. If I log in with my account as an administrator, the touchpad works like a charm, no problems. Tap to click and everything you want. If I disconnect the admin account and sign in as a standard user, the problems are back again. I can move the cursor, click on the two buttons (left, right), but I can't type to click...

  I tried to reinstall the driver for the touchpad (which is MOMENTUM...) but it did not. I tried to see if there is any option that can prevent this tapping or something... but in the control panel > Touchpad > Tap is turned on. A strange thing in the control panel of the Touchpad is that [when loggend as a standard user] I get an error "unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click on continue the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click on exit the application will close immediately. "and a new line saying"index was outside the bounds of the array. If I click on continue the error disappears, but reappears if stationary "double-tap" enable/disable option. If I click on leave the Touchpad Control Panel closes...

  All this trouble occurs only when I use the standard account. With the administrator account, I don't get any errors so I soar options, disable them, activate them and most importantly, the tap to click works.

  What is the problem with the standard account?

  I have Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit Service Pack 1.

  As he works in an administrator account, then probably your standard user account have been damaged and would need a fix.

• Changes made to a script, and now it does not work

  Just sent you an updated version... I used the article 6. .your was using [] in a javascript expression. This concept means a JavaScript array notation, so you have to wrap the expression in a xfa.resolveNode ("string that represents the expression")... or pass to formcalc where the [] are allowed.

  Looks like we'll have to resort to cheating Photoshop using OpenGL drawing. Download these reg files *, open them in Notepad, change of 11.0 to 12.0 (because they have for CS4) and then run both with YOU on their behalf.

• Edition with added script AS2 FLA file does not work

  I hired someone else to do the writing of scripts for animation I created originally. He calls an xml file that displays 3 different items in the flash.   I can reproduce this problem every time by following these steps:

  (1) open a new tab, and I get a blank page.
  (2) select the Home button. I find myself at http://www.google.com/ig
  (3) go to the address bar type in a new URI, and press return

  Now, I leave my home page and go to the new page, but I can't go back to my home page.

  Similar behavior happens if I do a search on google for the address of quick search in the upper right.

  (1) start a new tab.
  (2) enter a search term and press enter
  3) click on one of the links to research and you transition to the new page, but the back button does not work.

  It works fine if I do something like:

• X 230 with Ubuntu 13.10. Just does not work?

  Took delivery of my new X 230 yesterday. This machine came without OS and I installed Ubuntu 13.10 as the only operating system. Installation went well. This love machine. Some problems, however. The following does not work at the moment:

  1 F8 + F9 buttons to clear up the brightness of the screen

  2 Touchpad has no function. Might be off but where and how?

  3 Trackpad no function? Also be cut perhaps?

  4 non-operational fingerprint scanner? (not a big deal for me)

  Would appreciate any help in resolving these issues
