Change of COMMON_APPDATA-path returned to the latest applications

If I install an app built in LabVIEW 2012 2013 on a Windows 7 machine as a service (srvany, with the key RunAsService in the application INI file) on a 64-bit Windows 8.1 or 7 machine - and the application attempts to store data in CSIDL_COMMON_APPDATA, the data ends up in c:\ProgramData.

That's what we always waited.

However, if I create the same application * now * (not only in LV2014 but 2012 as well) and install using exactly the same batch, script and srvany, the pathname returned when the application runs as a service and pray CSIDL_COMMON_APPDATA changed: C:\Windows\SysWOW64\config\systemprofile\AppData\

(This also happens if we use the native system VI instead of a call to the Win32 folder).

Anyone know why? The effect of the key RunAsService on the application itself may be changed (only logic here if 2012 got an update as well), or is this a change in Setup /-or Windows (which, for some reason, does not affect the old application/installer)?

The reason for the change in the path returned APPDATA was simply that the executable not found the key RunAsService in the ini file. We forgot a mistake in the name of the section in the INI file. So if your rusn asks as a service and begins to store data in a subfolder under Windows\SysWow64 or \system32 when you were really aim c:\ProgramData, the problem is probably caused by a lack or incorrectly stored RunAsService-key.
