change of Win8 to Win7
I bought a laptop with Win8 installed 64. It is not a touch screen. I want to erase Win8 and go with Win7 64. What if any are the problems I have to face? The processor is AMD E2-1800, 8 GB of RAM, 500 MB HD
Erase the HD, then start the Win7 installation whatsoever?
Thanks for the reply,When I asked about getting the drivers I was talking about the Win7 installation disc.
Let me say it this way. I do not return back to Win8 should install Win7. That said, if I zap the HD, buy a copy of Win7 64 can I install and use this laptop?
Microsoft does not manufacture nor supported (produce drivers/software for) your material. If you want drivers that allow equipment of your machine and attached to your computer to communicate properly with any operating system, you choose to run, you must go the manufacturer of the components and get these drivers.

Just remove 8 and install 7.
Thank you.
Hello MinhyukQ8,
I'm sorry to hear that you don't like the operating system of Windows 8.
If your device has been manufactored with Windows 8, you will need to buy a copy of Windows 7 retail to change operating systems.

Is this possible?
Y at - it all drivers for Win7?What should I do?
I did 3 (DVD) system recovery disk, I can now begin the Downgrade process?TIA
HolfitIt is possible, why not
To check this:
http://APS2.toshiba-tro.de/KB0/TSB2B03F30002R01.htmYou need to make the necessary changes in the BIOS. Disable secure startup, and then assign him to UEFI MSC mode
> Are there any drivers for Win7?
Look here:
http://www.Toshiba.EU/innovation/download_drivers_bios.jsp?service=EU> I did 3 (DVD) system recovery disk, I can now begin the Downgrade process?
If you have the recovery disk, you will be able to put the computer laptop back to factory settings.
This allows you to use 8 to win again. -
Portege Z930 - a few questions after decommissioning of Win8 for Win7
Hello
I recently bought Z930 PT234E with Win8 pre-installed. Due to the policy of the company, I needed this downgrade to Win7 Pro 32-Bit (deleted all partitions and creates a partition must usually be made). I downloaded all the drivers for the OS and installed. And it all started after that;1. I'm trying to install TOSHIBA Smart Client Manager but returns with warning "+ before starting the implementation of TOSHIBA Smart Client Manager Client, copy an action for TOSHIBA Smart Client Manager Server header file to the installation folder. +"and I only have the file and the installation will fail. * Where can I get this file for a successful installation? *
2. you have + hwsetup + software preinstalled on Win8 but I couldn't find this sw / driver, even for Win8 to download Toshiba pages * where can I get this sw because it gives the possibility to configure the BIOS without waiting for start? *
3. I see that the battery is + opportunity + while I left my camera on hibernation. I have to unplug it from the power supply after that 100% charged and Hibernate, it. But after a few hours, when I turn it on, I see that it is 91%! I susbect it's because of ' + sleep and fresh + "is enabled from the BIOS, but I need to wait for the next boot. * Any comment? *
4-if I buy Toshiba online recovery support, this will help me to install Win8 as first boot and create the deleted partitions as in "+ * factory State * +". In other wprds, this recovery media will set my z930 to the State from the factory with the OS and partitions. + OK, I guess this media is a DVD and I know that I need to create a USB bootable for this media... No worries :) +.
Really thanks for reading and the comments / answers :)

This file is not known to me and usually something like that should not appear if install you the software in the correct order.
Before you start to install the Toshiba software you need to install the Toshiba value added for Windows 7 package!Only if this PPV was installed and restarted laptop, you can follow with other tools.
> 2 - you have hwsetup software preinstalled on Win8, but I couldn't find this sw / even Win8 to the download pages where Toshiba can get this sw fly because it gives the possibility to configure the BIOS without waiting for the start?
Driver package system that is available to win 8 is NOT available for Win 7.
Instead of system driver you have installed to VAP!> 3 - I see that the battery is used while I left my camera on Hibernate. I have to unplug it from the power supply after that 100% charged and Hibernate, it. But after a few hours, when I turn it on, I see that it is 91%! I susbect because of the option "sleep fresh" is enabled from the BIOS, but I need to wait for the next boot. Any comments?
Any comments? Option Charge & sleep, but also other options like the Wake Up LAN or keyboard may discharge the battery. So in case you n t want that, disable it in the BIOS

The laptop is a Satellite L875D-10N, which I bought in September 13.
Installation went well, except that 2 3 ports USB 3.0 no longer works.
I can stil fresh my phone or other devices, but the laptop is not "see". Also, USB drives and other storage devices are not recognized. In the Device Manager the ar two ports under "other devices" and no driver is installed for them.
I tried in different ways to find and install a driver, but it never works. Can someone help me with this? I would be very much greatfull!
Kind regards
Wilbert
Amsterdam, Netherlands> In Device Manager, the two ports are listed in the "other devices" section and no driver is installed for them.
Indeed the USB issue seems to be related to the missing drivers.
You must install this driver USB 3.0:
[Driver USB AMD v 2.0.7.176 Windows 7 - 64 bit: http://www.toshiba.eu/innovation/download_driver_details.jsp?service=EU&selCategory = 2 & selFamily = 2 & selSeries = 178 & selProduct 7534 = & selSh ortMod = null & language = 13 & selOS = 30 & selType = all & yearu pload = & monthupload = & dayupload = & useDate = null & mode = a llMachines & search = & action = search & macId = & country = al l & selectedLanguage = 13 & type = all & page = 3 & ID = 87792 & OSI D = 30 & driverLanguage = 42]In addition, you will need to make sure that this chipset driver has been installed too.
The laptop supports the graphics chip ATI and AMD chipset. The chipset driver is the driver of ATI graphics card and this is why you must make sure that this driver would be installed too. -

Intel HD Driver issues to the decommissioning of Win8 to Win7
Hi guys,.
I currently have a bunch of machines Pro3500MT HP that came preinstalled with Win8 on them, and after checking with HP, they stated that their compatibility to be downgraded to run on Win7.
The installation works fine up until the point where Intel HD drivers are installed and this causes the pc to BSOD with IRQ isn't equal error. (I'll add the dump shortly files)
Has anyone had this experience with these machines?
Hello:
I've seen situations on the other business office HP PC where this occurs when you install W7 (no SP1), and then try to install the drivers before the W7 SP1 update.
If that's what you were doing, the solution is to install W7, update SP1 before you install all the drivers, and it should work.
If this is not your situation, then I would try the video driver Intel HD directly from Intel.

2000-2c29W HP: downgrade HP 2000-2c29W of Win8 for Win7
I know I need to reformat the hard drive before installing Win7. What else do I need to know for an installation without problem on this model?
Thank you.
It seems that the disc while it is formatted in NTFS is still in GPT and MBR format.
Have you also convert the disk to GPT on the MBR?
You can use this free bootable tool that is supposed to be able to convert GPT on the MBR disks then you can format the MBR disk with the NTFS file system.

Control keys works do not, Win8 to Win7 downgrade. HP envy j011dx
I have a HP Envy j011dx provided with Edition (64b9t) to the home page of Windows 8. I put in an SSD and improved RAM and installed Win 7 Pro(64bit). Everything is working great except control keys do not work. When I hit the left ctrl key, I get [9 - and CTRL right, I get, l;]
I have searched and tried a few different drivers looked at messages on the demotion to 7 and have not seen anything on this issue. I ran all the updates of windows and tried several different drivers. I put the old HD with W8, and it works if it is not a hardware problem. I looked at the origin of this post before doing the downgrade and it gave me the confidence to move forward with implementing Win7 on. I have until Friday to take this back to the store if I can't make it work. Any help would be appreciated. I also checked the region/language settings.I discovered what it was! Hallelujah! Good so I uninstalled and reinstalled Win7 Pro like 8 times. The driver IDT High - Definition (HD) is that he was causing.
Finally, I noticed that when I hit the left CTRL mute volume was turn. Then when I hit the button Mute ctrl will work correctly. Mute on this subject would not work. Mute off it would work. I unsintalld the driver and re-installed several times to ensure that it is definitley the origin of the problem. Keys mute and volume were workign regardless if the driver has been installed. I was making reference to article http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Operating-Systems-and-Software/Downgrade-HP-ENVY-15-j011dx-to-windows-7-need-help-finding/td-p/3768928 to get the rest of the drivers. WEIRD question but it is the IDT Audio, 1.0.6491.0 Version 6.10.6491 Rev: A SoftPaqNumber: SP4958 that was originally there. It's SP4958.exe. Whooo! It was a guy. I'm so happy that I found it. I like really a few Windows 7. Not looking navigation on Windows 8 and 8.1 at all!

Help: Decommissioning of Win8 for Win7
I have a new HP Pavilion p6 - 2316 s office running 64-bit Windows 8
I have 2 things that are not win 8 compadable, and I bought the DVD of Windows 7 64-bit.
I went and turned off Secure Boot. I also changed the boot sequence so that it starts from the DVD.
He began to collect files for Windows 7 for a while, and then he went to the process of starting Windows with the logo of Win
but it stops there. Tried to do again but stopped in the same place. The Logo of Win seems distorted.
Anyway, I don't know what I'm doing wrong or if there is something else to complete it.
Thanks in advance for any info.
Joey
Oops, I noticed that I turned Legacy support above Secure Boot. I enabled Legacy Support tried. Everything worked well. I am trying to install Win 7.
Sorry for the wasted post.

Since installing Windows 7 ultimate, I have 2 problems (compared to XP or even Vista):
(1) online gaming is lag; the other players seem to move like ghosts, somehow jerky and jerky, but my ping is completely normal (low) and fps are good, too.
(2) direct TV experience is worse now:
When I watch a dvb - t transmission and switch to another app that I have at the same time (like total Commander, instant messaging, Notepad, etc.) I hear audio clicks and get video abandonment. The same is true when I'm not watching a transmission, but when I save it. The recordings are defective (video and audio dropouts). However, existing good records can be read without any problem, even when you switch like crazy between all sorts of substantive programmes and lots of tabs in my web browser. With these good records I get no problem whatsoever (for example: files in windows XP). It is only when I try to record something in Windows 7 that I get these questions.
I have used many different programs (from dvbviewer for progdvb for dvb dream to Windows Media Center). The problem is always the same.
This did not happen in XP, however.
Under XP, I can switch to background programs and switch between tabs in the opera 100 without being any 'clicks' or the number of drop-outs in audio/video on live television. The same is true for Vista, although it is slightly worse than with XP.
In Windows 7, interactive use of programs seems to have a strong (and negative) impact on live TV.
My system (not aware at all, but otherwise very good work, in XP, Vista, Windows 7 and Linux):
-Sempron 2600
-1 GB OF RAM
-Geforce 3 TI 200:
I know: not supported by Windows 7, BUT:
-J' also have an ATI HD4650 here, which IS supported by Windows 7
and who doesn't IS NOT IMPROVE anything!Since my Windows 7 installation is quite recent and not yet activated, I did not install a lot, especially any antivirus that could (maybe) deteriorate the performance of the system.
Apart from live tv playback/record and games Windows 7 IS (!) quickly on my old system.
In addition, take into account that the games I'm talking about are OLD, so my geforce3ti200 is quite enough for such an old game, like quake2 or quake1. - And as I said, I also have a HD4650 well supported by the ITA which does NOT improve lag problems in games!
I tried to disable nagle algorithm (as suggested somewhere), I played with registry settings like 'systemresponsiveness '; I also disabled the multimedia class Scheduler - all these things you will find in these many threads any lag in windows 7!
Does not really - or only partially:
Deactivation of the multimedia class scheduler service help (a little) but at the price of having audio problems:
When switching between the different programs of the audio player (e.g. windows media player or vlc) has now audio dropouts that wouldn't happen when the multimedia class Scheduler service is running. Therefore, this solution is not ideal.
Since I also tried to use wifi instead of ethernet, external sound usb instead of edge, different servers etc, and since there is that interference between the task of switching and stability of live tv, I come to this conclusion:
This must be a timer problem. Something in the Task Scheduler in windows 7 and/or priority system was changed, when comparing it to XP or Vista.
I see that there are more settings in the registry, as in:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Multimedia\SystemProfile\Tasks\Audio]
Where it looks like:
'Planning category '=' Medium '.
"SFIO"="Normal priority".
"Background only"="True".
'Priority' = dword:00000006
"Rate of clock" = dword:00002710
'GPU priority' = dword:00000008
"Affinity" = DWORD: 00000000So I'm expecting setting could something in a different way here (?) have a significant impact...
Last question:
Considering the number of threads (when searching via google) all delays in windows 7 games, is Microsoft aware of this problem - and Microsoft offer a fix, a hotfix or another type of solution?Thank you, egman
