  You can try to enter the password in the section "WPA - PSK", instead of "WEP encryption" section, to see if it will work. It won't hurt to not test.

  Follow the steps below and check if it solves the problem:

  1 open the Mcafee Virus and Spyware Protection software you are interested in, click on calendar and perform analyses. Click analysis in real time, and then click stop. Select until I restart the PC and confirm by clicking the button turn off.

  Hello.

  I have the HP Photosmart C4580 printer, printer all-in-one, and every time I turn on the printer, I would get the message that the cartridges are missing or are not detected. I tried the solution from the cartridge and the message still appears. I tried cleaning them and then unplug the power cord and it still shows the error message.

  I tried to print before and it was fine. But sometimes shortly after, the message appears. I really need to find a solution soon because I need to print some documents.

  I moved frromm Dubai in Cyprus there are 6 monhs with my printer Photosmat CC310B. Sound of ink now and I bought a complete set of the correct cartridges (HP364) for this region and called HP support. They told me to try a series of keys to the printer to create the code to change the region. It did not work, so they told me to take the printer to only authorized service HP on the island centre in Nicosia. I tried to call, but since I can't speak Greek, I can't see someone who can help me in English. Its a round of 160kms will trigger to visit them and don't want to waste all that time and fuel if they can't or won't help me. I'm stuck and I really hate to throw a $200 printer which works fine and buy a new one.

  Any ideas? I wanted to make a complaint with HP but couldn't find a link to...

  I saw your post on the issue of "print quality" you have little matter where you want to print from your Photosmart C4580.

  I understand that you have already tried several troubleshooting steps however, browse the guide below and if anything that you have not yet tried, try them.   Hello! I have a HP Photosmart C4580 and just got a Mac. Number of issues,

  (1) after that I finally found the duplex printing option for my powerpoint documents it wouldn't let me not and was gray/gray. I had to change the printer driver to something else to chance, and click on allow "duplex" (tried to do some research). Then when it let me print duplex he'd let me not print in color!

  (2) when I go to HP Scan Pro to try to scan something it says "error, sorry, scanner could not be initialized. Scanner not found. "My printer is on and can print documents, and my software is up to date. So a little confused.

  I have a HP Photosmart C4580. It was connected to my Wireless network. The other day I decided to change SSD and WPA key my route for security reasons. The printer has stopped working so I again installed the software so I could configure the network printer information.

  Problem is that now it never acknowledges that the printer is active wireless. I tried in a computer with XP and a macbook pro with snow leopard. In both cases the critical points of configurations in trying to find the printer. I realized that something happened to the printer wireless radio, because when I run the printer, the wireless has become active and then it stops just the printer. The buttons and the display of the printer becomes simply does not. Likewise, I can't get the printer because the power button is unresponsive. I have to disconnect the printer taking and during startup, go to wireless menu and turn off the wireless radio, so it is not blocking the printer quickly. I also (at start and quickly) restored the default radio wireless configuration. But that has not solved the problem. Also tried to reset the printer unplug the power cord in the back and in the decision-making. Nothing has changed.

  I have no idea what makes the printer freeze. Probably something with the edge router? I just change the WPA key and SSD.

  Hello, I have a photosmart c4580 running on wifi... I have two mac osx on 10.7.4 but when I print, it says 'printing 100% ' then I get a messase saying 'this printer is not responding' IV ' e removed the software from the computer off and removed the printer and reinstalled but it still has the same problem...

  Unfortunately, the problem of compatibility makes it is a bit difficult.  The update of the firmware will fix the problem, but it does not work with 10.8.

  The only way to get the updated firmware update is to find a system that uses OS X 10.5 or more.  The update utility lists Mac OS x 10.4, Mac OS X 10.5 and Mac OS X as in charge.  I suspect that the last option, although it is not listed, is 10.6.  10.6 may work, but I recommend you find a 10.5 system to ensure the update will be a success.

  By mistake, we hit the button settings label number 3.  We do not have memory installed maps.  The instructions say that this:

  As I mentioned in the first post, I tried the hot and cold nothing works reset procedures.  I finally came to my senses and remove the printer and let windows 7 install the drivers again.  Then it worked.  I should have done that right away.

  Connected to a HP Photosmart C4580 printer via "wireless".   Although Print 'presets' show the color still seems to me that power print in black and white. System preferences under "Printer" Apple doesn't give me an option option color/black and white?

  Also checked and my HP software updates are all up to date. When I select 'Preview' option on PAGES/FILE/PRINT the document is displayed in colour - but printer still prints in black and white!  Advice please?
