I use a Windows 7 computer. I open cmd.exe to laugh and try, I've been on the standard user account, I changed the administrator password and I do not know. I don't have a reset boot disk.

With a Dell with Windows 7, you press F8 at startup, not Ctrl + F11

CTRL + f11 was for XP and Dell.

Do you have what version of obiee installed? If you have installed 11g, there is a bug, which does not allow to choose the language for the installation and always default language based on the language of the OS. See ( Bug 12824489: OBIEE ADMIN TOOL INSTALL DON'T REQUEST NO LANGUAGE).

  • How can I remove the Administrative Tools, network connections, printers & Fax and scanners and cameras my desktop icons?

Recently, I installed a trial version of Tune Up Utilities 2009. During one of the scans/tune-ups, he gave me the option to display the Administrative Tools, network connections, printers & Fax and Scanners & cameras icons on my desktop. I checked ok, however, now, I think it's too crowded in my office and you want to remove them... right on the desktop, not everywhere else they are located. I tried everything I know to remove them without success. Anyone knows where is the menu option to display on the desktop so I can uncheck or choose Delete? I don't want to have to change all the .ini files or .bat to because I'm afraid I don't do it correctly and create other problems.

    Hello tellis1230

I don't know what you have tried, but have a look here

    Right-click Desktop-desktop/properties/Office/Customization

    Uncheck what you don't want

  • I need help to change the administrative password

How can I change the administrative password when the computer was a gift and I do not know the password. I need the password to set anything in the computer, including the time?

Can you log on under an admin account - any admin account? If this isn't the case, then you must ask the former owner for the password.

    Hello

You cannot use a Standard (Local) account to change the administrator account. You can only use an administrator for this account.

Open the control panel (place the cursor on the bottom/left corner of the screen... and right click, select Control Panel from the menu

In Control Panel, select user accounts.

    Select Manage another account.

This will show all the user accounts on the computer. If there is an administrator account, it will show this designation.

To log off and log on with an administrator account.

Back to the account user/screen control.

Select Manage another account , then select the Standard account you want to change.

Select the option Change the account Type .

Select the administrator option to change the account and click Change the account Type .

If there is no other administrator account, let know us and we can try another method of recovery.

    Tell us what you find.

  • SPR in OBIEE is different from that of the administration tool

I have edited the RPD (new.rpd) and deploy it to the server. When I opened OBIEE, I got the new area of topic, but when I change online the RPD in the administration tool, the RPD was the old one (SampleAppLite), so I can't edit online the RPD. Can I know how to change online the new RPD? I want to change online the new RPD. Why has this happened? Thanks master

    Dear Sir

I think you're wrong to choose the port. try to watch your em, then go in Business Intelligence - coreapplication - availability - process tab. I guess you are using 11g, but if you use 10g. simply stick to the word of availability, you can find this in Capacity Management tab. Then look at the BI server, check the host and port. Start making your DSN from that. I hope it helps

  • Unable to display the users in the administration tool - identity, OBIEE 11 G

    Hi all

    I used OBIEE 11 g on Windows7

I can't see all the users in the administration tool-> manage-> identity-> users tab in the right pane.
However, the application roles are visible.

I am able to see users and application roles in the administration console.
All new created user is not visible. Due to this setting log level for each analysis individually became a problem.

Could you get it someone please let me know what could be the problem?

Ugh, you have to go ' Actions / Set filter user online ' and put a * in the box. Oracle, in their infinite wisdom decided to set the default value to show any user (I submitted a request for improvement for this a year ago...)
