  You can use a server OS in a pool of Terminal Server services.  If you want to set up a desktop computer, you will need to use a desktop supported OS.   You can find operating systems supported in the Administrator's guide, http://www.vmware.com/pdf/view31_manual.pdf.

  PC settings in my windows 8 does not respond. When I click on the "Change PC settings" option, I just came to the start page. Some of the software also do not react. I tried troubleshooting that was of no use. It adds that the system restore option is also insensitive. Any suggestions on how to fix this would be really useful.

  I recently posted this edition colors were funny and was an auto assign to the existing colors.

  Now, change the colors doesn't do ANYTHING. I select a color to be changed... change the color in the color Edition dialogue... nothing.

  Any suggestions on a workaround solution that does not take forever?

  I recently did a program that changed my desktop wallpaper according to the time of day.  He worked by entering a terminal command that looked like something like this:

  It was working fine, until recently.  Now when I enter the command to define 'fichier.jpg', it works, and defines it as my desktop background as it is supposed to, but when I replace it with a new image of the same name and path, the command affects my wallpaper the original image of the same name.  When I went to change my wallpaper in system preferences, it showed in my new defined image preview area, even if it wasn't.  I'm doing something wrong or is there a problem with my Mac?

• Changing the text does not update the name of the layer.

  With Win7 and CS5.

  I just noticed something with my text in CS5 that differs from the CS3 and also for me, a step back.

  I made a text layer with words.  The words appeared as the layer name in the layers palate (I typed 'TEXT' on the screen and the text layer is named text for example).

  Then I double-clicked on the text icon and this field selected the word on the screen.  Then, I changed the word 'TEXT' for some other say word "WORD".  However, this new Word I typed in was not carried over to the name of the layer so the ancient name of the layer remained.

  In CS3, the name of the layer is updaed when the words on the screen are changed.

  I really want the new text update on the name of the layer.  Is it possible to fix this or is it just something in my system.

  I just tested with Photoshop CS5 and CS6, and layer update for me names when I edited the text.  I have not configured something specific that causes.

• Process page not throwing no data found error when you remove the item in a table

  I'm trying to run a process page just before the process of MRU in tabular form and it is throwing an error no data found . Here is my code:

  F01 here is the checkbox column and the if statement is the cause of the problem because if I get rid of the update statement (leaving just the commit) then it still throws the error.
  
  When I click on a checkbox, and hit the Remove button what fires off times this process and then the MRU, I get the error not found data .

• Calendar Gadget has all orange background and does not show any date information

  My calendar gadget all orange background and does not display the date information. I tried the various help and resets listed in the site support, and also through a search engine search.  No solution that was out there was again active. I tried to reset the file .dll, re-installed McAfee, closed, deleted and re-installed the gadget.  I'm running to do a total reinstall of Vista (not), but I don't really want to do this for a simple gadget. I don't know that there is a difficulty there. I have install a registry cleaner and then uninstalled it, but I don't remember the name of the program. Thoughts?

  This behavior is observed if the XML registration is missing in the system. To resolve this issue, follow these steps:

  • Close the Windows Sidebar . To do this, right-click on the Sidebar icon in the Notification area, and then clickoutput (GK: in the case of Windows 7, press Windows key + R > typetaskmgr and press enter > Proccesses tab > selectsidebar.exe > click on the end process button)
  • Open an elevated command prompt window. To do this, clickStart , click principally made programs , Accessories , right-clickguest , and then click run as administrator .
  • In the command prompt window, type the following command and press ENTER:

  regsvr32 msxml3.dll

  Similarly, run these commands:

  regsvr32 scrrun.dll

  regsvr32 jscript.dll

  If the registration was successful, you will see the message DllRegisterServer in succeeded to for each executed command. OpenWindows Sidebar (sidebar.exe ) and check if the problem is resolved.  You will need to disconnect and reconnect your user account to check if the issue has been addressed.

  I have a client who is looking to buy captivate.  I told them to download a trial version for 30 days, and I walk them through it with one of their courses.  However, the two parties can not get audio to play within the edit view?  It makes no sense at all.  Any advice?

  It is possible that the edit view has become silent in the timeline panel.

  

  Beyond that, you may also need to make sure that the latest patch has been applied as well as following the steps described in the two posts below the link.
