Change the size extraction sql array by query or the worksheet

I have a function table in pipeline, used for debugging, which performs work on a potentially long period of time where the line of conduct is called periodically throughout the performance.

If the preferences for the sql fetch size table is set to 1, then the result tab displays each line as it is channeled on which is exactly what I want.

For general development, I prefer a value of 500.

Is it possible to set this value in a SQL worksheet so that I don't have to navigate the window preferences and then reset my connection?

I tried to use the SQL * set arraysize, but that had no effect on the results of query and executed as a script window was not helpful either.

Is it possible to set this value in a SQL worksheet

No, not currently.  The Sql Array Fetch size preference applies to all connections.  Looks like a developer once thought about changing this preference value whenever The VALUE ARRAYSIZE runs in a spreadsheet, but decided in the end not too - what is needed is a fetch size property with a scope at the connection level or even the level of the worksheet. Since a spreadsheet can use a connection that is not shared, which would give users precise control.

You might want to add this as a feature on the SQL Developer Exchange request: http://sqldeveloper.oracle.com/

Of course, it is not necessary to re-establish a connection to pick up this change of preference, but in fact can work that way in some cases.  I could be wrong, but probably result grids will pick up the new value without a reset of the connection.

Kind regards

  • Difficulty the front Dimension of the array, but allow the user to change the size of the array

    Hello

I know there are a few other posts on table and scroll bars but mine is a little different. I want to have the physical size of the fixed table control and allow the user to change the size of the array as required and a scroll bar if the number of elements exceeds the specified physical dimension. I wouldn't mind if, at the end of the scroll bar, the user sees an uninitialized element.

    Thank you very much

    Hello

The problem I have with the property Num Row node is it seems to replace the scroll bar. Whenever I try to change the line number, the table automatically resizes its physical size on the front and the scroll bar has no effect.

However, I solved the problem by taking row completely digital. I just said if the table size is > to a constant value (i.e. 3), add a scroll bar and my front panel dashboard to be a size larger than what the value of this constant is size. Once I begin to add values in sequential order and I get to the fourth value, the scroll bar is added and the scroll bar has a feature where it adds an element of null for you, so if I fill this null element I just increased the size of the table and another null element appears underneath.

  • change the size of array without initializing

    Hello

I'm trying to dynamically change the table size.

I'm doing a calibration of an instrument and from time to time I read 3 parameters and try to write in an empty array (do not reset) and caclulate interpolation polinom according to my measured data.

The table must be empty because I use the same table as input for the calibration procedure and it may not contain the zero but only the measured values and it will develop that my flow measurement.

I hope that my question is simple,

    Kind regards

    Sasa

    Hello Sasa,

    two options come to mind:

    (1) use the BuildArray to 'grow' your table of measurement points. Add only "not null" points to the table...

    (2) search the forum for discussions on 'remove items from the table', you will find something like this...

  • Puzzled by changing the size of the array of Bell Curve (or made gaussien)

I use an instrument which entered a table 1 d signal. When you draw the it, it looks a lot like a Gaussian function (it looks very good too).

What I want to do is to change the size of the array of this input function (basically I want to increase the size of table).

For example, when you look at the picture attached, you will see that the size of the curve in the picture on the left, which is the GROSS ENTRY, 70 =.

What I want to do is to change this size to a number of interest (for example, let's say 80)...

So basically I want to insert 10 new numbers in the table (in random places), but I want these 10 numbers to fit on the best-fit-the signal line (like you see in the image to the right).

So I tried to use Gaussian worthy, and cubic spline worthy... etc but none of these features allow me to change the size of the table of the output to adapt.

Any of them do not give you the equation of the line of best - fit either... so I can't solve Y for a known X.

It is very important for me to continue my project.

    Thank you very much

Look at the palette under Interpolation in the math palette.  You can find something that will work for you.  It will not add points on the equation, but should allow you to get more points along your curve.

  • How to change the sizes of elements of array programmatically?

    Hi all

I have a small question about changing the size of the elements in the array. I hope someone can help, because I am in a bind!

I connect certain intensities of a range of fibers using a camera. For the calibration of the system, I gain a picture of the camera, click on the image points to divide it into areas of interest. I have my image to overlay with a grid indicating the areas of interests - for example a 4 x 6 picture. I then have to select fibers - or Kings - I want to connect from.

I have a cluster type-def (a number and a Boolean value) to specify the number of fibers and to enable logging of this fibre power. I superimpose a (transparent) picture of this typedef on my image to correspond with the regions of interest. So here's my problem - I want to change the dimensions of the table for each control corresponds to my KING. I can resize the elements of law on the elements on the façade, but couldn't find a way to do it programmatically. The array property node > element of array > limits don't "change to write" it's the first thing I tried.

Its only really important elements alignment with my Kings - so adding in the gaps/spacing programmatically would also work for me... goal again once I can't understand how to do this! I've attached a screenshot of part of my image with table superimposed to show you all exactly what is my problem.

Thanks in advance for you help,

    Dave

I can get this working by selecting the Standard report column in the type of the column header . However this to say that I can't use the LOV LOV options involve removing the HTML characters.

Is there a way I can conditionally change the font with the above query and use LOV as well? Thank you.

  • Change the properties of a cluster element inside an array of clusters

    Hi all

A list or a tree would not have made it, so I had to use a cluster and make a.

The problem is I want to change not only the text but also the color of the text.

    Individually.

    I found this:

    http://www.NI.com/example/30904/en/

But it changes the property in all groups in the table, not just the one I need.

Obviously, even if in a table/list or a tree, you can change the property of an individual

cells (font, color), you can't do it in a cluster network, by a kind of magic.

the property of an element of the cluster (font, color) are all connected together, so made

the use of a table without value.

A possible hack is available using masking of control, a visible setting and the

other invisble, exchanging their position, whatever. This is a hack you have to perform,

Therefore, add another code to maintain.

Is that still the case, or is it now a more formal way to manage the individual cluster

Properties, not only its data? After all it is a common example of a real life which should

managed by Labview. In my opinion.

    David Koch

    Altenbach says:

One of the elements could be an indicator of 2D about the same size image. You can create text in any color using the features of the image.

Here's what I had in mind. Seems to work very well (I would refine the border picture fonts, etc., but this should help you get started).

  • change the property of element in array for 'initialized '.

    I'm a newcomer here. And it's a simple question.

The objective of this part is to record the data in the table.

You can see that if the array element is not initialized, it will be not recorded in the worksheet, which saves space in the disk. So change the property 'initialized' of this feedback to unitialized array element?

    Thank you

You can "right click on the item of data operations remove the element.

(This has nothing to do with "uninitialized". The size of the array is indicated by the light elements, the dull items fall outside the valid range, which has nothing to do with the size of the container. Your first table has two components and that your second table has three elements).

  • Change the font color in a report using SQL for APEX 5.0 queries

    Hello

I'm testing APEX 5.0 in my test environment to see if I can migrate my internal applications of 4.2 to 5.0.

How can I change the font color in a field based the SQL query? I know how to do it in 4.2, but I can't find the same in 5.0.

    Thank you

Well, I used to put html tags in the select text, getting the value of depending on the CASE, so I had to change the display column attribute in the report as "Display in text form (space special characters...)".

  • Change the width of the content of inputListOfValues inside the af: query

    Hello

I am looking for a possibility to change the width of the content inside my af:query.

For example, I have in my fields of application 2 (width 100) and an inputListOfValues (width depends on the width of the content max)

I want to display them with the same size.

I put all 3 columns the same width, but af:query always display the current max inputListOfValues width content.

Is it possible to achieve that?

    I found the solution

    http://www.jobinesh.com/2011/01/customizing-component-display-by.html

but it does not work for inputListOfValues, only for text input fields. Maybe some css, but how to add css inside the af: query?

    I use jdev 11.1.2.4

    Hello
AFAIK width for inputListOfValues inside the af: query depends on the size of the field in the database.
But we can change the with inputListOfValues inside af: query. This is the easiest way to do it:

    1. go into your view object - > attributes

    2. click on the attribute for which you have the LOV. Click on edit to change this attribute.

    3. click on control flags on the left panel. Change view width.

4 apply, Ok, save & enjoy

See an example screenshot. We are allowed to change other fields too. This should work for 11g R1 and 11g R2. Please share if you find another way. Hopefully this will solve your problem.

  • Bug: APEX_COLLECTION. CREATE_COLLECTION_FROM_QUERY_B change the query string

    Hi APEX Dev Team.

I found a bug (or I don't know how to get around unexpected behavior) in APEX_COLLECTION. CREATE_COLLECTION_FROM_QUERY_B. I think that it also applies to the CREATE_COLLECTION_FROM_QUERY.

What's happening: some strings are replaced in the query, I pass into the function. for example '22% ' is replaced by a white. It is not good if I have a query like this:
    SELECT MYCOLA, MYCOLB, MYCOLC FROM MYTABLEA WHERE MYPHONE LIKE '%22306%';
This returns no rows in the collection. If I run this query in SQL Developer she returns 5 rows.

When I change the declaration subsequently, it returns 5 rows in the collection.
    SELECT MYCOLA, MYCOLB, MYCOLC FROM MYTABLEA WHERE MYPHONE LIKE '%2306%';
Trace shows me, the first SELECT statement is replaced by
    SELECT MYCOLA, MYCOLB, MYCOLC FROM MYTABLEA WHERE MYPHONE LIKE ' 306%';
    Which is obviously false :-)

The changes seem to be limited to 22%, I found no other characters encoding URLS that are replaced in the query.

Please fix, as I can't find any workaround.

    Thank you
    Peter

    Hi Peter,.

Thanks for reporting this. This seems to be a legacy logic which is no longer necessary (the logic to replace the string '22% '). I corrected it to Application Express 4.1.

To work around the problem, you can concatenate this string in your application, allowing you to avoid this logic. For example,.

    SELECT MYCOLA, MYCOLB, MYCOLC FROM MYTABLEA WHERE MYPHONE LIKE '%2 '. 2306 ' %';

    Thanks again.
