  I have two Western peripheral connected to my computer.  I store all my backups picures and Painter on these two devices.  When I first boot my computer into the AM sometimes readers are recognized and other times they are not.  I can't understand why this happens.  On my old computer also running windows 10 my discs were always recognized.  On this computer when the error occurs, I have to go into the Device Manager and find readers and indicate the update drivers in order to make them work.  Both drives work fine until I turned off the computer during the evening and restart the morning.  Other times, that my devices are recognized all away without me having to do something for them.  Has anyone else encountered this problem?

  I have solved my problem.  I had problems with my computer last week not to open some programs installed HP and spent two hours on the phone with a HP technician.  During this time the technician has literally on my computer to see what was going on.  The technician had crossed and disabled all of my menus start to see if it would solve my problem.  A disabled element is the WD disk start up, so I have now enabled it and so far it seems to work.      The technician explained that they met some problems with windows 10 and how it interacts with the computer.  This new computer came with windows installed 10 while my old computer has been updated to 8.1 to 10 and I don't have the problems that I'm having now.

  I added a few elements of custom button to one of the skins in RH9 and finds that they are not reliable.

  Here's what I found:

  • If I navigate to the local level directly that contains the generated webhelp pro of the project and open the project of a browser, the buttons are there
  • If I press F1 in my application to call the webhelp pro Server system help, aid load correctly but the buttons are not there
  • If I right click on the page that appears when I press F1 and choose Properties on the page and copy the URL from the Properties dialog box and paste that into a browser and load the page, the buttons are there

  In summary, it seems that the buttons do not appear on the server by using the URL that provides the documentation (http://[ip address] Server/robohelp /? project = [insert project name here] & area = [insert domain name here]) but the buttons appear if I cut and paste the URL of 'real' resulting from loading the page with the URL documented If that makes sense.

  Hi Rocky. I'll assume you use RH 9 Server and there is nothing unusual about the "custom" buttons (code, etc.) which is a problem. JavaScript actions are usually very good. In addition, it would be good to know what browser you use see it.

• Changes made to files not appearing edd does not in DITA 1.2 applications

  I made changes to files in the folder of DITA 1.2 ESD, but they do not appear when I use applications that are related to them.  The changes I made are not going until I import element definitions, and I don't want to do this for each file.  Does anyone else have this problem?

  After the ESD, you must import the corresponding models. Make sure you do not import of ESD in the wrong model. Note that the default configuration for DITA 1.2 on the FM band is to have applications separately for each type of topic structure. This means that you need to maintain separate EDDs and sc_results.php for each. The EDD are set up to be shared where transferred (via inserts text), but it can be difficult to keep track of who goes where.

  The best approach is to clone applications by default to make your own name applications, so you can always test with the default applications... because you * will * eventually break something and don't know what happened.

  first of all a new folio you post of DPS, the folio will not appear in the App Store, but in the library of the application.

  I just picked up a clients flex project and I can't get the app to reflect even a simple statement trace.

  Before that I took over, the project was built last successfully with the environment/sdk Flash Builder Beta 2. I have the latest version of Flash Builder 4.

  To import the project into FB4, I get a ton of errors.  Most of them, mainly because of changes made to the beta2 sdk for free.

  Some of the things that I fixed:

  -player video count: many names of the State for the video player component had been changed, more correctly States had been added.  There are also other related component video and property names that needed to be updated.

  But I have corrected this and the application is finally able to compile (but with a few caveats the type of variable in double especially)

  The only thing is now that any change I make to the project is not reflected in the build (debug or release).  I have changed the existing traces, added additional traces. Nothing is displayed.  I even removed the applicationComplete property in the main.mxml.  Still, everything worked as nothing has changed.

  Also I can't debug the application.  Whenever I try to debug... Flash builder said... "Swf application contains no debug information required...". "

  Anyone has any idea how to even begin to tackle this? Any help or pointers would be greatly appreciated.

  Have you tried to project-> 'clean' the project?

  Also, instead of wasting more time with the import, I try and create a new project in FB 4 and copy all the code sorce and assets in the new project. Flex 2 has been a long time ago.

• "Change in" dialog no longer appears in LR3.5 - missed something?

  After LR3.5 I noticed that when you choose the option "Edit in" updated, I no longer see the dialog to choose the weather or not I wanted to "edit a copy"-"first edition" or "copy with lightroom adjustments.

  Thanks for the reply.  Its good to know that I'm not the only one seeing this.  I confirm your observation.  I have PSCS5 and PSCS5.1 installed.  PS CS5.1 is made automatically the default editor, and I've linked CS5 in the custom replacement.  When you choose to edit in custom substitution proposal "change in" dialogue appears - when you use the Default CS5.1 - no dialogue appears.

  EDIT: With a little more research I learned that everything works as it should - the default editor does not show "change in" dialogue and always apply some settings in lightroom, you did (flatten the image of what format you choose in the preferences) - However, you can have full camera raw editability by choosing 'open as smart object' which will allow you to open the raw format in Camera Raw in Photoshop.

  You also have the editor 'default' also recorded as external editor custom - registering as a preset - and selecting the preset - which will bring up the dialog of "change in".

  You can use a text editor such as Notepad ++ and the plugin in comparison to compare the XML from the analyses and differences in merger.  That would be the fastest easy/more...

  Just a word of warning - this is completely not supported by Oracle and can VERY easily lead to a corrupted analysis. You'll find plenty of OBIEE'ers experienced out there who have hacked the XML on analysis, but you have also messed up in the process. Always make sure you have a backup and Don ' t cry about it if it breaks.

  To the OP - I don't think that there is a good answer to this problem. The analyses are simple objects, there is no option of merger for them.

I'm not going to use DNG. Details: I mainly use my old MacBook Pro, but I wish I could use my PC as it is much better (card: i5 2500K, 16 GB of RAM, SSD, USB3, nVidia GTX 560 TI etc.). I you will probably need to use as my internal HDs are fairly complete and I cannot be the kind of things simply delete or move to one (developer, without loss of music, programs etc.).

  According to me, that it should be possible to work cross-platform without having to create a link to the files each time, or without having to keep export/import of the catalog, keeping the single catalog and the picture library on an external drive that is then switched between systems as needed.

  Obvious first requirement is an external drive that is formatted in a way (for example, FAT32) that it can be used on both platforms in read/write mode. Given that, if the catalogue AND folder parent si le catalogue ET le dossier parent images are both set to the same level in a global parent folder, then it should be possible to take advatage of ability of Lightroom to use relative paths instead of absolute paths to detect the images, no matter if the player is named (Mac) or lettering (PC). This is how "export as catalog of ' works, that is, it creates a 'package', alias a parent folder, containing the catalog and a replica of the folder hierarchy to exported along with the catalog images. Take this 'package' to another system (same OS or not) and "it works" even if the drive letter is different or the operating system is different... because the relative path of the image catalogue is always the same.

  I have not tested this cross-platform (if I have between various PC systems with letters of different readers) so for me it's still just a theory, but there may be others who have done this successfully.
