• "No audio output device is installed" no sound, video controller and game on the Device Manager section,.

  my laptop has no sound, it says no audio installed and the speaker symbol has a red cross on it. I tired all help but nothings worked, and the thing to fix auto could not fix. The Device Manager there is not even a sound, video, game controller section. Sometimes when I put into hibernation and back on I have sound and everything works fine (except when I run itunes and it stops again), but I say that I have no audio device again to restart the laptop. I have the vista updates this. All ideas

  I had the same problem with my Compaq F700 series laptop. His was a work day and does not not the other. I couldn't use most of the patches because they need to have the tab of sound, video, game available and also lacked this tab.

  I tried to do system restore and rolling it back, but the problem has not been resolved. What finally worked was restoring the system to a MUCH earlier date, as one month before the problem. When finished restoring the sound was still not fixed. HOWEVER, the computer OS (WINDOWS 7) necessary to re - install a bunch of updates and after the updates have been installed, everything worked. I suspect that the original problem was a bad update (I.e. has not installed correctly) and one to ride the system goes back to a time before the bad update and then re-installing the update was the fix.
  That said, if the restore option does not or cannot be I would try searching through the Add/Remove programs in the control panel to uninstall the updates of the system, and then restart the computer and let updated them, re - install.

  I just installed Windows 8 Pro on a system that were running Windows 7 without problem.  After completing a clean Windows 8 Pro Setup program, I went from hollow driver installation, but found the package to install for my card its caused Windows 8 Pro drivers to lock up and become completely numb.  I had to force a shutdown by pressing the button for 4 seconds.

  Trying to solve the problem, I found that manually install the drivers through the device manager didn't cause any problems.  In addition, installation of the drivers available through Windows Update also worked without problem. However, these two methods fail to install parts of the pilot training included him.  Then I have to uninstall the device from the package of drivers again.  I uninstalled the sound card via Device Manager and selected "Delete the driver for this device."  When I followed this with a "Scan for hardware changes" again the list my sound card, I have found that Windows 8 Hung again.

  After trying other options with no resolution, I tried to reinstall fresh Windows 8.   To exclude a possible problem with Windows 8, I opened Device Manager, as soon as I could after installing Windows and ran "find the hardware changes.  New Windows 8 freezes.  I can't place blame on post installation any software or driver.  This seems to be a problem with Windows 8 itself.

  A final note, sometimes "find the hardware changes" will actually work, but most often it forces the system to hang.

  Does anyone else have this problem?  Can anyone provide assistance? (chart below for comparison)

  It seems that I am victim of dynamic ticks.  Research on my question, I have found several discussions around the ' net for crashes/freezes random in Windows 8, but none of them appeared to agree to my problem.  However, they all had the same solutions.

  Run the following command in a command prompt to disable the dynamic ticks.

  bcdedit/set disabledynamictick Yes

  I thought that I have that would give a shot, and it worked.  I wrote this answer, I also found that there is a recent update of the BIOS for my motherboard which indicates "Support Windows8 feature."  With the new BIOS applied, I was able to turn dynamic ticks and have been broadcast since w/o freezes.  I also managed to install all my drivers.  Anyone else having this problem maybe try updating the motherboard BIOS, otherwise try the above command.

  I did look at some of the existing plugins and see, for example in the plugin VMware ESX that there JOB_DEFINITION file types in this Management Plugin.

  It seems that you have an old version of the definition of client/verb emcli. You can try running 'emcli sync' and who will update your definitions of Word of WHO. You'll need either a CMS which is version 10.2.0.3 or later or an emcli client downloaded from a CMS 10.2.0.3 or version later.

  It won't work if you:

  1. move the folder of the extension to the appropriate folder (/Users/ untilLibrary/Application Support/Adobe/CEPServiceManager4, which will become /Users/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CEP)
  2. Set the debug flag - because you use extensions that have not been digitally signed.

  When I get to the stage where I add the Extension XML file to the vSphere Plugin Manager, I get an error stating that "invalid URI: the URI is empty.

  When I open the cisco_nexus_1000v_extension.xml file, obviously, there is something missing in the & lt; URL & gt; & lt; / url & gt; section.

• Can I use my file of smart noticed lrdata on another Mac and then takes over the changes to the original?

  LR5 CC user. I tried to use Smart saw for the first time. I followed what appeared to be the best advice but now not sure since most of the functionality of guides working with a single computer and offline files. I'm travelling away from more than a month. I have a Mac Pro with thousands of images. I exported my 'best' 5000 smart insights in a lrdata file to use with my macbook pro laptop on a trip. I took the file lrdata with me on a hard drive. Not the file catalog. Now it seems that I can import these files (by double-clicking the lrdata file) but I'm afraid that if I change them editing will be lost when I return to the original. They have different file names. I'm basically losing the chance to do a touch up? Or is it possible to edit and send them to the original catalogue?

  We should not import & edit the preview files smart (the DNG with loss with names like 7/7FB5/7FB580F4-00BB-4C39-8DE5-C09490BA6CB8.dng), instead of the photos they "represent."

  But if you do, here's how to transfer settings and/or metadata to preview files smart imported/released to the original photos which you have edited in the first place:

  o NOTE: you must import smart previews published directly in your main catalog when you get home (travel catalog import, or save first and just import files xmp - two works in a way).

  * Download and install RelativeAntics (free by me) plugin.

  To choose "Any Smart Previews" pre-set (in the plugin Manager).

  * Select the imported smart preview files.

  * Run 'Relative Antics"(menu file-> Plugin Extras).

  * Unselect all items of ' Define 'Related' section, * except * "Custom Relative."

  * Select whether you want to transfer cause adjustment or metadata...

• The certificate management: need to know-how

  I have an ASA5505 I am Setup to accept remote Clientless SSL VPN connections. Each user will be able to connect must have a certificate of client corresponding to their username. 2nd factor in the authentication process is the user/pwsd account in our Active Directory.

  I have a CA (W2k8), that I will use to issue certificates with the customer. I thought I'd give a certificate to the web site without the customer, too, but I don't know how to generate the request.

  I'm under 6.4 (9) ASDM and ASA version 4,0000 1. There is not a lot of useful information in the configuration of the certificate management section. I guess I need an entry for CA certificates, but don't understand really why, or how to add them. And I guess I'm going to need an entry in identity certificates, but again, I don't know how.

  So far I have not found documentation on the whole process. Can someone point me in the right direction?

  I m in AA CS6. Can someone tell me how to clean the Plugin Manager?

  I ve tried a few plugins as a demo and then uninstalled but I can´t seem to get rid of them in the Plugin Manager. The Director said that they are still working.

  They are also still visible in Effects > VST-list in black (not grayed out), but when I click it nothing happens (of course).

  A new analysis of plug-ins in the Manager does nothing.

  Assuming you're on a Windows machine and confident dive a bit in the gubbins:

  Go to C:\Users\User_Name\Appdata\Roaming\Adobe\Audition\5.0\ and then delete the file called AudioPluginManagerSettings.xml.  Once you have done this, you can scan and get only the VSTs always there.

  FYI, to get this file, you must be working as an administrator and the option 'Show hidden files' is selected.

  (If you're on a Mac, there is a similar to do things way but I don't know the details, being a user of PC/Windows long term.)
