Changing document properties

Hello

I want to change the properties of my documents to PDF on Mac OS, but it is impossible to change anything. Does anyone have a solution?

Thank you

You mean 'properties', as in file > properties?

If so, you would need to Acrobat and not the free player.

  • Why the document properties fields are disabled for me with Adobe Acrobat DC?

    I have just recently Adobe Acrobat for DC and at the same time were analysis a large number of documents in PDF format.  But it seems no matter how to create a PDF file, I can't change the properties.  I'm mainly interested in adding a title, subject, and keywords to my documents and possibly custom properties but I can't type in all areas.  I'm choosing File > properties and Description or Custom tab.  I use Windows 7 and I don't have this problem with other software products or when I scanned to a jpg image file.  Could I have a security setting set up somewhere that keeps the properties to be changed?

    You posted your question in the forum of Acrobat Reader, so the question is: what applications do you use, exactly?

    Is Adobe Acrobat (Pro/Standard) DC or DC of Adobe Acrobat Reader? If it's the latter, no, you cannot use it to change the properties of a PDF file, because it's just a reader, not an editor.

    I have a question about the acrobat reader and document properties.

    It is true that the date of file creation found in document properties cannot be changed and so can be used as hard evidence?

    That is right.

    Hi John,.

    As far as I know we can use 'chain of everyItem()' here with 2 conditions:

    1. There are at least 1 story in a doc

    2. There are at least 1 table in a doc

    so, this code should work:

    var cStoriesCheck = app.activeDocument.stories.everyItem().getElements().length;
    if (!cStoriesCheck ) exit();
    var cTablesCheck = app.activeDocument.stories.everyItem().tables.everyItem().getElements().length;

    app.activeDocument.stories.everyItem().texts.everyItem().fillColor = "Black"
    if (!cTablesCheck) exit();
    with ( cStories.tables.everyItem().cells.everyItem() ) {
         texts.everyItem().fillColor = mBlack;
         texts.everyItem().tabStops.everyItem().alignmentCharacter = ".";
         fillColor = "Paper";
         leftEdgeStrokeColor = "Paper";
         rightEdgeStrokeColor = "Paper";
         topEdgeStrokeColor = "Paper";
         bottomEdgeStrokeColor = "Paper";
         }

  • What happened to the initial view options in the Document properties?

    What are the initial view options in the Document properties? I just updated my player and it is no longer accessible. SOS.

    Hi kga406,

    Please tell me if you are able to access 'initial view' tab in the properties of the document using Acrobat.

    You can change the initial view settings in Acrobat and you can view a PDF in Reader with the same initial point of view as established.

    You can use the SBA (SystemBuild Access, see Chapter 7 of the guide SystemBuild) command of routine modifyblock to change any SystemBuild

    Block property. All the created blocks have a block id that must be specified in the modifyblock command.

    For example:

    modifyblock 2, {name = "myblock", color = 2, size = [100 100]}

    or to create a gain block

    createblock 'gain', {win = 2.5, name = "accelConstant"}

    to retrieve the id of the block of a created block, pass a variable set to zero, createblock will set the variable to the id of the created block

    MyID = 0

    createblock 'dead zone', {id = myid}

    modifyblock myid, {color = 1, input = 2}

    You can also get properties for a block by using the queryblock command.

    [t = c = color, location, t = blocktype threshold] = queryblock (myid)

    See Chapter 7 of the Guide SystemBuild users for more details and orders

  • How a single change of ownership of XY Graph Plot.Style default or change the properties od individual plots?

    I have a XY Chart with a variable number (known) of several plots. The number of plots may vary, the style of track sometimes isn't what I want. I am trying to use a property node in a loop for change the properties Plot.LineStyle, Plot.PointStyle, and Plot.Fill/PtColor for each parcel in a XY Chart. However, perhaps because the names aren't static, colors do not seem to be updated I would, and I'm really not sure why this happens. Strangely, the LineStyle and PointStyle seem to be updated as I'd like.

    Please see the ScatterColors.zip enclosure that contains the main VI in question (SplitInGroupsScatterByOrder.vi) and two screws under which it depends. Thanks in advance for your help

    So, I thought about it for me. I did the stupid mistake to think that the 'Name of the conspiracy' property was a reference, to select, by parcel name, field properties, which were being changed. Now, I understand that the "Tracer Active" property is the way to do that, while the Name property to draw allows (surprise, surprise) to change the name of a parcel.

  • How to change the properties for some controls at run time?

    Hello

    I would like to change some properties for some controls in front of Panel at run time. Number of properties of the control I want to change is based on a newspaper user file opens in the final application.

    I've attached an example where I'm changing the visibility of digital controls. Problem I have I don't know what reference to connect to the property node in the case where the control loop for is not a digital control. The example is based on the label.text property but I could use the more generic classname property as well.

    Kind regards

    Petri

    Initially, a control has no legend.  It is not just the caption string is empty and the legend isn't visible, but the caption object does not exist.

    At the time of change, when a legend is on something other than an empty string, the object of legend is created.  If you redefine the legend with an empty string, the object of legend is deleted.

    During execution, the object of the legend cannot be created or destroyed, but if it exists, it can be changed.

    When I legends I want to change during execution, I initially affect the '. '.

    Thank you very much

    Hi Jose,

    Welcome to the world of LabVIEW!

    Looks like you need to learn the rudiments of e/s files and GUI customization.  You should probably start by learning the basics of LabVIEW by using many tutorials, examples, and online help that accompany the product.  The following links will help you get started:

    To change the properties of your ring of menu:

    Programmatically change the elements in the text, a Menu or a ring list

    To read a file:

    To start: read data from a spreadsheet (.csv) and display in LabVIEW

  • Cannot change the properties of 'read only' files in xp

    Recently, I was not able to change the properties of 'read only' to my files. I click on 'Properties', uncheck the 'read only', press on apply, click OK. When I re - check the records they come up to 'read only' again. I can't find a way around it. It has stopped me to back up files, since I get the message that the files are 'read only' and cannot be changed.
    All solutions?
    Thank you

    The read-only attribute has never been applicable to files under XP. You can try to take ownership of files/folders instead.

  • Error unknown 0x88982F50 when you try to change the properties of a JPEG file in the Windows Photo Gallery

    I am running Windows Vista Home Premium Service Pack1 and use Windows Photo Gallery to managemy photos. I like the fact that I can integrate tags and ratings in JPEG files.

    I just noticed though, that the tag is no longer to be stored in the JPEG file. I know because when I saw the properties of the file tag information I have in the Windows Photo Gallery is not present. If I try to change the properties directly, I get an error message stating:

    An unexpected error prevented the operation. Make a note of this error code, which might be useful if you get additional help to resolve this problem: 0x88982F50 error: No. Error Description available.

    I checked the file isn't read-only etc.

    I searched Microsoft.com for this error and have found no help. I searched the internet and have seen many forums to raise this issue, but I can't find a solution.

    Note that when I try to fix an image in Windows (eye of harvest/red etc.) Photo Gallery, I also get an error that says I can't save the changes.

    For me, it looks like a component is faulty or missing, but how is it resolved?

    Treat button"at the bottom right of the screen.
