Changing of Radon to the Nvidia graphics card

After 2 deaths in one year of the provided HP Eyefinity AMD Radeon HD7770 graphics cards, I went shopping for a new card and decided on the 750 AVGA GTX GeForce Ti 2 GB (02 G-P4-3751-KR).  While I'm waiting for shipment from AVGA.com, I thought I should get my ducks in a row for the installation.

You (HP) have a nice website for removal and installation.  It is not my problem.  My problems will arise with the software.

Question #1-si I uninstall the AMD Catalyst software, this will affect anything else on my desktop HP Pavilion HPE h9-1185 Phoenix?  (http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03306320

Question #2 - the change of the brands/graphics chips card will have no effect on the capture card TV or any other characteristic, as wonderful HP Diagnostic tools?

These are the most important questions while I'm waiting.  I have another issue to the MS program, Windows Media, that came with the computer.  MicroSoft said Windows Media does not come on Win7 and it won't stand.  I can not work properly and what is a remote control for Windows Media without the software?  Is there a site on HP for fixing Windows Media?

Thank you very much for your help!

Question #1-si I uninstall the AMD Catalyst software, this will affect anything else on my desktop HP Pavilion HPE h9-1185 Phoenix?  (http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03306320

A: no, you can uninstall the software without causing any problems.

Question #2 - the change of the brands/graphics chips card will have no effect on the capture card TV or any other characteristic, as wonderful HP Diagnostic tools?

A: no, I don't think there should be a change in the operation of other components or software with the new video card.

A: here is a guide to help you get Media Center to run.

    Hello

I have a laptop Toshiba Satellite P770-116 has two graphics card Intel and nvidia. There are the Intel as primary and I want to as the primary nvidia?

    Thank you

    Hello

Optimus technology automatically switches between the nVidia or Intel GPU.
Its controlled by graphics card driver and it depends on the application you are using...
If the application requires more power GPU, Optimus technology switches to nVidia
If the application does not have stronger performance GPU, GPU Intel would save power.

But of course, it should be possible to put the graphics card for a certain application.

  • Flex 14 is not detect the Nvidia graphic card

Earlier today, I started my computer and noticed the Nvidia Control Panel was not an option in the context menu. After going to services.msc, I noticed the service of display driver Nvidia was not running, and if I tried to start it, it would immediately crash. Then I went to the Manager of peripheral and seen as graphics cards, is visible that was Intel's integrated graphics. I wiped the Nvidia drivers, and when I tried to install the last that I was told that 'this graphics driver cannot find compatible graphics hardware." I tried to reset the BIOS, which did nothing. My concern here is that the graphics card is dead, or he shook his place somehow. Are there any suggestions you can offer to solve this problem, or I have to disassemble the laptop? Thanks for your help.

    Data sheet:

    CPU: Intel (R) Core (TM) i5-4200U @ 1.60 GHz (4 CPUs), ~2.3GHz

    RAM: 4 GB (4096 MB)

GPU: Intel Integrated Graphics (onboard), Nvidia Geforce GT 720 M (discrete)

    Model: Lenovo Flex 14

I discovered the cause of the problem. A driver corrupted to "Intel (r) 8 series PCI Express Root Port #5" was the culprit. In Device Manager, he appeared with an exclamation on the icon and after uninstalling the NVidia card appeared. After that, it was just a matter of reinstalling the drivers and it was all sorted out.

My computer was working fine under Vista 64-bit. I got the upgrade CD Win 7 64 bit. The installation went well. But after a few days I get BSOD. The computer hangs at random: opening Visual Studio or even open a folder. The graphics card shows as NVidia GeForce 9100 in the Device Manager. I downloaded and installed the latest driver from HP site. That did not help. Then I installed the latest driver from NVidia site itself; This file is named: 195.62_desktop_win7_winvista_64bit_english_whql.exe, but that did not help either one.

Taskbark of the window has a message that 'graphic NVIdia has stopped working"and then recommend downloading drivers.

  • Illustrator does not detect the nvidia graphics card

    Hello

I've installed illustrator cc 2015 on my Dell windows 8.1 and the laptop has 2 graphics cards one intel HD 5500 and another NVIDIA GeForce 845 M.

Everytime I open illustrator I enjoy a massage that the software drivers for one or more cards are not updated to use the GPU performance update drivers software for later...

I have my two cards to day and I already have the latest drivers for my windows 8.1.

I tried to install the driver nvidia on the following link: https://helpx.adobe.com/illustrator/kb/illustrator-gpu-performance-driver-update.html - I downloaded the driver and when I tried to install it it tells me that the driver is not compatible with my system and I already have the latest version of the driver on my computer.

When I opened the GPU performance in preferences I find that Illustrator only detects card intel and Nvidia not.

The second problem is that the interface is a bit scary that the icons and text are zoomed in and very large (such as the attached screenshot)

  • Zbook Studio G3 HP: How to disable the integrated graphics card Intel and use the dedicated Nvidea graphics all the time?

    Dear all,

I have a HP zbook studio G3 laptop. I want to go to the Nvidia graphics card permanently.  I tried to disable graphics integrated in the Device Manager, uninstall the driver and allowing even the nvidea card chart of all profiles in the parameter 3D tap in the Nvidia configuration software. Non of them seems to work as the integrated graph is always in action and simple games could not be executed. I always keep in the option to high-performance mode, and the laptop is still connected. Should I manipulate the bios setup?

    Thanks in advance,

    Bezzi

I have the version non-studio of Zbook 15 G3 which has removable video card. I added the video card after purchase and found that it worked just right if I went into the BIOS and set it to use only the nVidia card. However, because yours is graphic switchable I don't know that you have this option. Have you looked at even the BIOS? Press ESC you turn on, then F10

  • What is the best graphic card for after effect

    Hello
my graphics card is not supported for after effect. I'll buy a new one and I would like to know what is the best
    Thank you

There is never a simple answer for such a question, but:
List of cards supported for 3D Ray Tracing in AE, you will find it here: after effects configuration required for Mac OS and Windows

More information on NVidia: Adobe after effects CC - 3D Graphics workflow | NVIDIA

But to be honest, most of the nvidia graphics cards will work with AE - ELA easier - more Cuda cores better.
But before you spend a lot of money for the high GPU know AE uses mainly from CPU to GPU rendering is not so important. It uses the GPU only for RayTracing (obsolete)

    and some third-party plug-ins.

  • I can't find a compatible Nvidia graphics card and monitor system of the body/Neo3D 3D

Adobe first Pro CS5.5 / specification tecniques (http://www.adobe.com/products/premiere/tech-specs.html) lists the graphics cards that can be used to accelerate video editing.  I want to set up a system similar to what Dave Helmly is described (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Aqi_qivG82c) with a computer 3D monitor and 3D TV secondary screen.  However, the 3D monitors that I saw as an Asus (http://usa.asus.com/Display/LCD_Monitors/VG236H/#overview) indicate graphics cards Nvidia that no overlap with those specified on the website of the organization.  Also, I found no towers locally that come with an appropriate Nvidia card.  I found some that have a free PCIe slot.  I need two cards in any case; However, the graphics card that comes with some of these machines specifies a maximum resolution of 2560 x 1600.

    Here are my questions:
    (1) what Nvidia graphics cards are both supported by the Organization and support of 3D monitors?  I'm looking on the bad feedback?  The Alienware site does not specify which graphics cards are compatible.
    (2) if the integrated video card has a maximum resolution of 2560 x 1600, does mean that if I want resolution 1920 x 1080 for each of the two eyes I need format (output HDMI to 3D TV) alternate-frame sequencing?

I have not bought equipment yet, I am looking for options that work.  Thanks for your help.

Hi Dennis, you need one of the Quadro graphics cards to do what you want (use the Nvidia 3D output). GTX cards will be released to a secondary 3D display, but only side by side and more to the title. I have a GTX 480 which I use with the body and Neo, main monitor is 2560 x 1600 (non - 3D), my secondary monitor is a Sony 32 "3D TV on which I discovered 3D since the timeline and FirstLight mode side by side. To be honest, I change and cut in 2d mode and really only use the monitor 3d for the color calibration (which is different for 3D 2D because of the need to reduce areas of contrast high which cause ghost images) and for the z depth of positioning for the composition and titles.

I have a Dell XPS 15 L502X. So I recently installed a game called Wolfenstein: The New Order. And everytime I start the game I get an error known on the web as "wglCreateContextAttribsARB failed".

I know that the cause of the error is that the game keeps identifying my integrated graphics (Intel HD 3000) as the main graphics card so that I have a dedicated onboard graphics (Nvidia GeForce GT 540 M, 2 GB dedicated memory).

The problem is that my integrated card only supports OpenGL 3.1 and below, although my GPU supports up to OpenGL 4.0. I know for a fact that this GPU is able to run the game and YES I already chose my GPU as the primary graphics card under manage 3D, the global settings settings AND parameters of the program specific AND even tried setting the PhysX Configuration as the GPU itself at unsuccessfully.

I also tried to disable my Intel HD 3000 by Device Manager (couldn't turn it off via bios), but whenever I do so that turns off the display of my laptop. However, I have a TV that my laptop is connected via HDMI. If my laptop screen is transferred to my TV and I can not change/turn my laptop displays ONE unless I had to re - activate the integrated graphics card. Strange in my opinion!

On the other side, I ran the game without the integrated graphics card (when), and the game runs very well! CLEARLY the GPU (GT 540 M) is able to run this game, although the game is not identify him. Instead only identify the integrated Intel HD Graphics 3000 card or identifies the onboard graphics as the main reason any!

Need help please, I want to play the game on my laptop screen not on my TV... Also on a side question, is it possible to completely disable my integrated graphics (Intlel HD 3000) without losing my screen? If so, how?

    Thank you for your time.

EDIT: I discovered that a similar problem, I used to have with another game (watch dog) on the demanding game run my video card to support DirectX 11 for the game (so it never ran), now works correctly when I turn off my integrated graphics card and use my TV as my main screen! EVEN IF my GT 540 M is to satisfy the minimum requirements for the game!

You can switch between graphics cards - Intel low performance for graphic intensive application of navigation/less graphically and using nVidia graphics high-performance hungry applications in graphics resources like games.

You can take a look on the link shows to switch between the graphics card Intel and discrete graphics (nVidia, in your case):

  • How can I restore my nvidia graphics card settings?

HP G6000 laptop / Windows Vista 32 bit

    Hello.

I think I did a stupid thing and set my chart on two monitors in Control Panel. Now when I log on the screen on my laptop turns off just after looking up (sometimes the office shows just just before deletion) so I can't change this back. I am able to run the laptop using graphics native but want to re view - put the nvidia card. I think I'd be able to see the desktop etc, if I had a second monitor but I have no one that has the right cable. Is there an easy way around that without using a second monitor?

Solved this problem by a stroke of luck.

I have reactivated the nvidia graphics (actually a restoration of hardware drivers Recovery Manager) and when re-load windows I got the usual black screen. However I noticed the key F4 was a symbol of the screen and when it has been activated (fn + f4 key) the display is back - I was then able to enter the Panel Nvidia and re - configure monitors for laptop only.

It's "RTFM" - the HP user guides call the f4 shortcut key "switch screen".

Quite obvious! The solution was there all the time, just waiting to be read!

Now all I have to do is try to get the sound working... but that's another topic of discussion, I think.
