We do this directly through the Remote Console software.  Seeing the log in window, the user name is "Admin" and there is no password.  We can access in the switch, but "Admin" a/c is missing from the "User" settings category. So we can't change the Admin password.

  I need to install Oracle 10 g 2 in a box of HP - UX Itanium for an upgrade of Database 9i and 10g and some have recommended prerequisites of the kernel are not defined as requested for the installation program. Kernell settings have been changed in order to fulfill the preconditions but the can´t server be rebooted now because it is a production environment, it will be restartedb in two weeks, but I want to start right now with the installation software.
  
  My question is: safetly can I install the software, and after restarting the server, perform the upgrade of my database?
  
  The kernel parameters that failed were:
  Verification of the maxdsiz_64bit = 2147483648;      found maxdsiz_64bit = 1073741824.     Failure of < < < <
  Verification of the maxswapchunks = 16384;           no entry found.                         Failure of < < < <
  Checking the semmap = 4098;                no entry found.                         Failure of < < < <

  Hi Alvaro;

  I belive that you can go to to ignore this message on your installation. But after installation you need to restart your server coz if you keep working like this probably will hit you on your db errors

• Change the import settings when the Tag window is disabled

  Hello

  When changing the parameters to import by mistake, I chose only not to ask for the name of tag in import.

  Now, I want to change the import settings. Now, when I click on import Image and videos I'm never able to see the screen of tag I can change the settings to import again. It begins to import images and videos very quickly and not giving the time similarly hit the import settings.

  Any help would be appreciated.

  I found a solution that worked for me!

  My problem was when I tried to change the import settings after inserting my memory of cameras
  stick. It offering me the opportunity to go to import the settings. If I could change the location
  imported illustrations...

  After scanning a document to save (nothing to do with) image + video import dialogue box shows
  To the top! And does not immediately start importing, so I was able to click on the import settings and get
  the dialog box import settings.

  I clicked on the parameter area for the scanner and I get a choice of devices to change the settings of.
  Cameras and portable is here. !! By clicking on that gives me the window I can ck the __Prompt of the box for a tag on import.
  I do this press 'OK '.

  Then I get a box of photos and videos to import saying for these changes to take effect, import pictures and
  videos will now be restarted. Click on 'OK' to find
  Scanner: Operation is not successful the device is not ready. I click 'OK' on this box

  After that, I will go back to load pictures from my camera memory stick and import of images + videos box
  remains on the screen, so I'm able to get import settings.

  I hope this works for you... I tried to solve this problem for weeks.
  (Meaning 3 days after I got my new computer windows7)
  with no help from chat for hours with HP support and many requests for help from microsoft answers.

  Hope that gives you the answers you need... I would like to know if this is the case?

  I can't "rip CD" or change the settings of "rip".  When I try to copy a CD I hit the rip button and I get the error message "CAN'T RIP ONE or MORE SONGS on this CD".  I tried several cd.  When I try to change the RIP SETTINGS I get the error message 'THE SETTING for RIPPING MUSIC COULD NOT BE APPLIED'.  I tried to uninstall and reinstall WMP12 but when I put the APPWIZ.   In WMP library, click organize , and then select manage libraries - music . What places are? If there is no available location, remove them and also make sure that a default save location is set. Do the same for the other libraries (videos, pictures, and Recorded TV).

  If this does not help, open Windows Explorer, right-click the music library, select Properties and click on restore by default . After that, make sure that a backup location is defined (as indicated by a check mark).

  Due to a migration of our DNS servers, I have to change the IP addresses of the DNS servers defined in the (currently used) our BDE server IP pools. There is a Hadoop cluster with a large amount of data running using this pool and I do not have to deploy the cluster again. Restart of the cluster is not matter, so I planned the settings DNS for the cluster nodes have to change after reboot. Unlikely, I could not change the DNS settings. Is there a way (perhaps non-elegant) change those settings for the pool?

  Hi Dustin,

  BDE provides the interface to change the DNS server in the network added to the BDE.  You must change the BDE database to do.  Here is the solution:

  1 Server BDE connect you as user serengeti

  2. run this command: echo ' network dns1 set update = 'the_new_dns_server_ip' where name = 'the_network_name '; \q" | psql

  3. apply the new DNS server. There are two approach. You can choose one.

  (a) connection BDE CLI and run "cluster stop - name...". ' and 'start cluster - name... '. "to restart the virtual machines in the cluster, then the new DNS server will be applied.

  (b) on BDE server, run "serengeti - ssh.sh cluster_name " sudo sed-i of | nameserver. * | nameserver the_new_dns_server_ip| ' g' / etc/etc/resolv.CONF. The new DNS server should take effect immediately.

  You should be able to remove it from the command prompt in Windows Repair Mode.

  I have a 750 page pdf document that I've created.

  I have to sometimes the pages up and down after that I added the page numbers in the document by using the Header_Footer tool on the right column of tools.

  But after you save the document, if I get a few pages around, I can't go back and change the page numbers.

  I thought that the page numbers, as indicated in the header and footer must have changed automatically, but I guess that once its print, that it cannot be edited - is that, as what is?

  So I guess we should always first get a copy without numbers of pages before confirming the documents and the creation of an index.

  A way to remove these page numbers already there and add new page numbers.

  Its a lot of work to align 750 court documents and then realize that you must move some and then realize the page numbers cannot be changed and thus begin to do this all over again to compile which can take about 10 hours.

  My question is quite simple, but I hope that overall, I got my point. Sorry if I made it is too complex.

  If no simple way, want to know if anyone has another different tool or a few recommendations to better highlight what I'm doing wrong.

  Thank you for your help. I tried the maintenance of places without success. I have disabled xMarks, but it made no difference, I couldn't save all new bookmarks. I went on the site help above and deleted the "places.sqlite" file and recreates a new file, but it didn't work. I uninstalled Firefox full using IOBit Uninstaller and reinstalled, but I found this program does not delete the profile folder (used to have a checked during uninstall of Firefox, but it seems to have disappeared in the latest versions). The problem persisted.

  Finally, I took a screenshot of all my addons. Then, I uninstalled Firefox again, then delete the entire folder profiles (located very usefully described in the second link above https://support.mozilla.org/kb/Bookmarks+not+saved#w_fix-the-bookmarks-file )
  I reinstalled Firefox, reinstalled xMarks and connected and transferred all my favorites, I reinstalled all my previous addons and ALTO - it now everything works perfectly!
