my new coulden can't battery load more then 32% which is the problem. problem of battery or load? help please

Hello

1. have there been recent changes to the computer before the show?

Check your connections. Make sure that the plug is tight in the port. You may have a bad connection on the end of power cord. This is usually port that lets you connect the power cord to the laptop.

Method 1:  Also I suggest to check the following links and check if it helps.

I need to examine it to see if there is a problem with the port of loading, but a really dead battery can make it seem as if the charger is not working properly. If you can describe the problem maybe we can further troubleshoot the power adapter. If you are willing to accept a non-genuine "compatible" battery, they are very cheap.

  • Charger Compaq 610 problem

Hello, laptop Compaq 610 arrested son loads and then died when the battery ran low.  I read the adapter 18vdc, it seems OK.  I read that the plug that connects the charger to the system board, sometimes comes loose, then I opened the unit upwards, seems OK.  Any thoughts on what could be the problem?

Also noticed that the cable between the charger and the laptop has 3 sons, but the connector seems to have 2 connections, which is the third wire for?  A schema is available anywhere?

    Thanks for any advice.

OUTPUT of the adapter goes to "0".

    You have a short.

I wonder if there could be a plug in the switch on the plug of the adapter and could have shorted contacts.

  • Charging battery and power problem problem.

The problem occurs only once I have start the load the laptop after that I used the battery for either a small or for a long period of time.

The battery will begin to charge and the laptop runs from the power supply for 5 minutes at a time. After that 5 minutes, the laptop switches the power source primary battery mode, even if the laptop is plugged.

Another 5 minutes after that, the primary energy source to switch back and the battery will begin charging again. It will constantly continue to do that, even when the laptop is turned off.

This is asif that is defective, however, is the second adapter I used and the same thing happens again. I tried looking in the power settings as much as possible and can't seem to find anything that can cause this problem.

Just today, I noticed that the battery light flashes sometimes white when the laptop has its power as the main primary energy source. I don't know if this has anything to do with this problem. I looked through the manual and support documents as possible and impossible to find a solution to this problem.

If the battery is low, when I start the laptop loading, that means I have to stop using my laptop, that this process will continue to arrive and finally the battery will stop and the laptop will be extended even if the plug is connected.

    Help, please!

    Hello

A friend of mine had a similar problem but on non-Toshiba laptop. The reasons because it is a dysfunction of the taken power there was a loose contact between the socket and the motherboard

The technician said that the motherboard needs to be replaced because it would be too difficult to solder this Jack once again

If the mobo was replaced, but it was a costly affair

Don't know if this could be the case even, but this looks a bit like the issue of power supply...

  • battery for Compaq laptop problem

I just upgraded to windows 8 to 8.1 on a compaq CQ58 laptop. I've also updated to HP support assistant.

On startup, I get a message telling me that the battery must be replaced because its capacity is very low...

I have read suggestions on checking and recalibrating the battery.

Pressing f2 at startup, the diagnostic test battery process freezes at 6% complete and will not continue the test.

On the use of a battery HP support tool, now it shows primary battery 100% available, but then stops. If the laptop is plugged in, it shows 100% AC power. ITI comes back and says "battery test has stopped working - a problemcaused the program to stop working correctly.

The proposed manual calibration and test method does not work either

The warranty of 12 months Mobile has expired only on 01/12/14, so I'm not very happy about having to replace the battery, especially if it could be the unit of charge, the battery or a problem with the update. Any suggestions on how to be sure what is the real problem.

The machine works perfectly on the power grid.

  • Satellite L850 - charger / battery problems, not normal...

    Hi all.

First post and all, I had a glance through to see if I can find my particular problem, and I don't think I can.

I posted this in another sub-forum, but then realized it's here... oops!

A L850. It will work fine on battery, but only supplies not the charger cable. Helpfully, a colleague also has an another L850 (I bought two together) so I can charge my battery of separately in his machine.

If I start the machine on a charged battery, it works fine. If you connect then the power adapter, the led is lit on the front of the machine, but it's clearly not load the machine works until the battery is flat and then turns off and will not turn on back until you charge the battery apart and put it back in.

Whenever the machine is powered, it also complains that the RTC battery is flat, and you will need to set the time in the BIOS. It is the coin cell CR2032 internally on the motherboard isn't?

what I don't understand, is that the unit understands clearly that the charger is plugged, as seers to say it is the battery. Except that it isn't, and is not to be unity. Œuvres battery for about 40 minutes of our days, after that, dead machine.

Any ideas? I suppose that there is something wrong with the internal charging circuit, but the fact that the LED lights up when it is plugged suggests otherwise...

    Thanks for all the ideas.

    David.

More information on this type of bit. When it is plugged in, the icon on the screen says "Plugged in, charge", but battery icon animates not charging about 10 seconds, then stops, and battery is clearly not charge as % drops away slowly.

I found a Google one of them is the "remove all, hold for 30 seconds, reconnect power. This made no difference. I also found advice to uninstall the battery from the device manager driver software and allow it to re - install. This done, still no different.

I got the hard drive and in a USB enclosure to retrieve all my files and am doing the 'factory restore' option I think that this is a restore hard disk partition. This work is far away, but in my opinion, is still running on battery only, so do not know if this is going to end!

    Hello

Each battery has a label with the information about it. Please check:

b physically mount, make sure that it will not cause damage to the connectors,

    (b) voltage: must be the same or not more than 5% of both sides.

For power, normally a battery 8 cells is greater than a 6 cell battery and it's ok.

In fact, what causes a lot of wear on a battery empties it too low on several occasions. With today
systems overload are not a problem.

Here are some tips to help and troubleshoot battery issues.

Old battery? Unplug the power to the computer - remove the battery and clean the contacts with a pencil

Check with the support of the machine system, and many of them have on line forums.

However on a laptop that not extend their life a lot. Best is to use the a/c adapter

    Hello

I have laptop Compaq 610 with FreeDOS installed plant. By default, this laptop has 2 GB of memory, but I asked a 4GB that was installed in the store. I am trying to install Windows XP SP2 (32-bit version) for this laptop. However, I still get the blue screen of deatch during installation. The same thing happens when I tried to install WinXP SP3. This happens at the beginning of the install when the drivers are loaded and probably before trying to view the EULA. I ran all the tests that show HARD drive test in BIOS - memory, test. Also ran Goldmemory who has not detected any memory problem.

The testing and calibration of the battery link (http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c00821536) is for Windows 7.  Our PC has Windows 8.1.  I tried on the advice of anyway, but it seems holding down the home button while restarting can no longer pull the PC in safe mode.

  • SD card not recognized by Windows 7 SP1 (Home edition), 32-BIT on HP Compaq 610.

SD card is not recognized when I insert it. He used to work earlier, but due to a problem, I had to get it reformatted and now it has stopped working. There is no automatic detection for it. Also, I'm not able to determine if it is listed in Device Manager, not sure, under which entry, should I put to update the driver. I have laptop HP Compaq 610. Please suggest what all can be tried.

Your driver card reader should be under USB controllers.  If she is not there, you've lost your license, or the drive has failed.  Visit the Compaq website to get a new driver.  If it still does not work, he probably missed and which is not uncommon.

You can buy a reader of SD cards for less than $10.

I bought PRIVATE released last week from classic BB. PRIV has severe heating and battery especially drainage problem while loading and between 100% and 40% of battery (drains 60%) in 1-2 hours.
