  I don't know if you the chip memory is damaged or is not compatible with your device, but as far as I know your laptop works with PC2100 DDR - RAM (1280MB max) however I found some information on parts compatible with Equium A60 - 155 m.
  You can use:

  PC2700 256 MB (PA3311U - 1 M 25)
  PC2700 512 MB (PA3312U - 1 M 51)
  1024MO PC2700 (PA3313U-1M1G)

• ThinkPad t460s: what is the latency (CASES) for welded in chip RAM 4 GB or manufacturer model/room?

  My t460s is on order. I expect with 16GB of command expansion module. It will be 16 GB 2133 DDR4 SO-DIMM. they come with different parameters of CASES (latency) 13-15. What is the latency of the installed module?

  If you access t460s, is easy to determine by running the test utility system or memory such as CPU - Z.

  

• Mac Pro RAM, Audio, Bluetooth mouse problems

  I recently bought an Apple factory refurbished Mac Pro (end 2013) and replaced the three-chip RAM of 4 GB with 16 GB of Crucial two chips. Everything was great for the first two weeks. Then I started having a strange audio problem. Audio would become suddenly agitated. I disconnected and reconnected the speaker output and it would start working again. Finally, unplug the unit and plug the unit has stopped working (audio would eventually just stop working completely... zero sound with or without the speaker plugged in...) and I had to restart the computer.

  Then one day I noticed that only 16 GB of RAM showed up (I run own memory, so he's in my toolbar). I opened the machine and moved the two chips on the other side and when I rebooted, I got 32GB again.

  Then I noticed that when the audio problem came once again (he seems to be after the computer has been for a few hours or more) my Apple bluetooth mouse would disconnect and reconnect intermittently... ONLY when the audio starts to get restless again.

  I zapped the PRAM several times and now I get the 32 GB of RAM only after disconnecting the chips and MOVING them to another location, but not all the time. The audio port will begin to spoil, I reboot and I'm back to 16 GB.

  So, is it bad RAM? I removed a single chip and the audio problem still happens.

  Anyone have this problem? Apple Care suggested I bring it in the Apple Store, but I thought that I ask here before go this road, just in case there is a known issue.

  To establish if it is a RAM problem, remove 16Bb sticks and replace the original 4 GB sticks.

  I wanted to update my MAC Book (mid-2010 - 7.1) with chip Ram 2 x 4 GB of Kingston. I got the last race of El Capitan, and even with just 2x2gb it actually works very well.

  I bought two Kingston KVR16LS11/4 - with 1600 MHz. The dealer told me that it will work with any MACBook.

  So I installed the two chips and nothing happens after that I press the Start button. ?!?!

  Do something wrong? The chips are not fair? I was wondering if maybe the frequency of chips is high priority - but I always thought, that the system it will operate at a lower frequency if necessary.

  Any chance of getting the chips running?

  I have a 2003 model iMac G4 equipped with a 1 GHz processor and I tried to put a stick of 512 MB of ram in it and when I turn it on it still boots in leopard surprisingly but it says that it only has 256 MB of ram. This iMac used to have 1.25 GB of ram, but I put the ram in my G4 iBook because I use it for school and the 512 stick came from the iBook. That these machines use different ram?

  Can you identify the iBook G4? There were several different versions over the years

  the G4 was manufactured; the first models all use PC2100 DDR266 200 PIN SO-DIMM.

  Only the last iBook G4 12 to + 14 - from mid-2005 use the DDR333 PC2700 200 pins

  SO-DIMM; and this chip is the same as that which corresponds to the iMac G4 USB2.0 user upgrade

  specifying the location.

  There were two models iMac G4 with 1.0 GHz processor; We use PC2100 DDR266 200-

  pin SO-DIMM, while the model later used chips of SO-DIMM 200-pin PC2700 DDR333...

  Some models can use the chip of RAM spec later (at slow speed of original memory due to)

  limits on computer hardware) so the DDR333 is considered DDR266 in older Mac G4s.

  A SO - DIMM DDR 266 since an old iMac G4 probably will work not in later model G4 iBook.

  I want to improve my ram... its 512MB now, but not enough, now use 468 MB, I farm programs unused backgorund, always 468 MB to help... I also have virtual memory settings. Using virtual memory, not good at all. On games share memory with graphics as chip RAM you have many know... It will count if I switch 1 GB of RAM to the memory expansion on the rear panel on my laptop? I don't know what RAM to upgrade, works DDR or DDR2? How many MHz? What pin?

  I have little time know what is the capacity of my memory expansion module to the back of my laptop?
  If I add DDR2 it'll work with other main ram which is under the keyboard area..... ?

  You must use PC2700 DDR - RAM. DDR2 will not work in your notebook.

• End of 2009 does not start after upgrading RAM

  Just installed 8 GB of RAM from OWC and 240 GB SSD from OWC. At startup, the screen stayed black, the Mac mini beeps (several times), the LED blinked.

  I reversed the positions of chip RAM - same result.

  I replaced the new RAM with the RAM (2x2gb) original. The machine starts perfectly.

  The RAM was purchased from OWC as a Mac Mini 3,1 end 2009 package upgrade that many have commented as works perfectly. My machine doesn't have an update of the firmware. Where from here, please?

  Examine the contacts of the OWC RAM. Compare with work/original RAM.

  Try just a stick of the OWC in each slot and see if a stick is going to work, and in what locations.

  Maybe yo receive a bad stick (or two).

  You can call OWC when available Monday

  I bought the 8 GB (2 x 4 GB) OWC for my Mini end 2009 and it worked without problem.

• Satellite A100-225: Question about upgrade up to 4 GB of RAM

  I'm confused. Very confused.

  I myself have an A100-225 and browse the documentation, I noticed that even if it comes with 1 GB DDR2 533 Mhz RAM, the maximum memory (RAM?) system upgrade it will take is cited as an impressive 4 Gb 'Cool' think me "I wonder where this is going?".

  Now, I had computers laptops apart before--and rebuilt a little - and I have never seen one with more than 2 RAM slots. So knowing that the greatest single chip RAM you can buy for a laptop (commercially) is 1 GB, I think that there must be four locations. Open the back... No, just the usual two.

  So any ideas what I'm missing here? I've had a scout around the site of Tosh and watching it - http://uk.computers.toshiba-europe.com/cgi-bin/ToshibaCSG/jsp/productPage.do?PRODUCT_ID=116145 -.

  I see the same boot - 4 GB maximum of extension. Exactly how do you what to do next? Or am I confused with something else?

  Of course, memory 2 GB modules are available right now and not in the future.
  You have to search only in the net for memory 2 GB PC2 - 4200 DDR2 - 533 SODIMM.
  To my knowledge this unit supports the PC2-4200 DDR2-533 SODIMM these modules and modules are available for example on the Kingston site.

  FYI: my laptop is the Satellite L750D - 1 DM PSK32E

  Static RAM works automatically and you will not be able to change anything. With more RAM, more memory will be used for graphical operations.

  With the display drivers for laptops are always a bit complicated. Due to the specific design and a cooling system in particular GPU performance must always be under control. This is the reason why manufacturers don't offer direct support GPU.

  I think that no one here can say much about Toshiba support. Maybe a more recent machine with the same GPU uses newer driver.

• How HD bays in a p7-1410

  I just bought a refurbished Pavilion p7-1410 to leave in the classroom so I would a computer both at school, one for home and leave my phone free to take notes on my network and configurations of virtual machine for the school.  I bought this machine based on the chip, ram and hd space were exactly what I need.  The only thing I really wanted to add was a + 120 GB SSD which should be fast enough to meet the multiple needs of virtual machine speed of (using some of the SSD memory to boost virtual memory) now that I bought the system (delivery tomorrow or Friday) I realized that I don't know how many berries can be used in the case.  Looking at the plug to motherboard, looks like there are 2 maybe 3 sata connections open, but looking through the web, I have yet to find a picture of how the Bay is and if there is any room.  Can anyone help?

  Ive got a laptop 2005 Satellite a80-135 that worked very well until I tried to format the HDD after a performance of Ram boost operation (kingston 1 gb Ram module).

  Just after that, the computer started showing software problems and finally crashed;
  So I decided to reinstall the entire operating system yet. and here, I found the problem I really hope you can help me

  The thing is that I can't format my hard drive to my cd player (with recovery CD in) when the machine is restarted.
  In theory, start the Panel menu should appear after the computer reboot with the C key simountaneously key but nothing happens.

  Simply, the C button the STRANGE start.
  You can also try to press F12 after the laptop has been powered.
  Then the start menu should appear on the screen and then you could choose the ODD (optical disc) in order to boot from the CD.

  If this is not possible, the question is perhaps related to WEIRD malfunction or recovery disk.
  Maybe the CD/DVD drive cannot read the disc properly and so the laptop can not boot from the disc.
  You can try to copy the recovery CD using another computer and might try to start using the copied CD.
  If it does not the problem might be related to the WEIRD failure.

  I have a 1999 Satellite 4060 XCDT model, when I go to 'my computer' then on 'System', it tells me I have a Pentium 2 and how many I have, but not the speed of the chip, RAM memory where / how can I find this (I know this is supposed to be a 333 mhz chip, but I have never seen this in fact in all menus)?

  I think it depends a bit on what operating system you use.
  I guess this is not Windows XP, because the general tab in system properties would show you the speed of the processor. I have Office installed my unit o, if I click on HELP in the menu and then ABOUT I get a screen with a button "SYSTEM INFO". This button will take me to a summary of the material.
