Hello
Has encountered this error after trying to fix a friends XP Home edition SP 2 Dell, which has never been online but had all kinds of programs installed from various sources and has begun to restart itself whenever he likes without warning.
sfc/scannow asked attempts to repair OS drive, no problems encountered with that.
Chkdsk /f /r ran after reboot and found no errors until the fifth check then we found loads.
After chkdsk connection couldn't complete due to errors.
Any suggestions of what to do in addition to the reinstallation of the operating system?
Thank you.

If you have not disabled auditor to Auditor typing/reset in a command prompt
These are indeed related to IOMap64.sys for NT of ASUSTeK Computer Inc. Kernel Mode driver. You need to download a new copy, remove the corrupt current copy and install the new copy.
Don't forget to do a restore point (just in case)

In the recent "Timeout detection and recovery' operating systems (TDR) of the video subsystem OS components were capable of making really impressive things to try to find issues that resulted in BONES as soon as XP crashing.
As a last resort, the TDR subsystem sends a video driver command "Please restart you now!" and wait a few seconds.
If there is no answer, the BONE concludes that the combo of driver/hardware video has really collapsed in a heap, and it fires at this stop 0 x 116 BSOD.The first step would be to install the most recent driver and it continues to malfunction, return to a much older pilot that some new drivers are a little bugs.
If playing with video driver versions did not help, make sure that the box is not overheated.
If you have a desktop computer, try removing a side panel and a sector large fan directly to the motherboard and GPU.
Run it like that for a few hours or days - long enough to check whether the cooler temperatures make a difference. If so, it could be as simple as dust accumulation and inadequate cooling afterwards.
I download cpu-z and gpu-z (both free) and keep an eye on the video time

Hello!
I'm with laptop Lenovo S10e. I have a problem, but I can't find the reason of it. I think it's in the sound, but I'm not sure. When I try to increase or reduce the noise (with Fn + left or right arrow or Master Volume) it displays the blue screen and reboots the system. What is the problem in my drivers or my sound card? Is - this problem is hardware or software? Please someone help!BCCode: 1000008e BCP1: C0000005 BCP2: 005BB4A3 BCP3: A899CC90
BCP4: 00000000 OSVer: 5_1_2600 SP: 3_0 product: 768_1The minidump files showed a KERNEL_MODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED_M (1000008e) consistent error caused by the aswSP.SYS stop.
The aswSP.SYS is a driver of Avast.
The aswSP.SYS date is July 4, 2011 for this driver seems to have been recently updated.
and the beginning of the problem may have coincided with this update.
The process that crashes is the RTHDCPL.exe which is a process of Realtek.
What I would say is to uninstall Avast and then see if the blue screen problem resolves.
Then update the Realtek High Definition audio driver to the latest version available for the Lenova S10e.
Reinstall the latest version of Avast.
If you are still having the blue screen issue please provide the files minidump resulting.

Hello

Thanks Mike
Here is some general information about the error:
http://msdn.Microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff557389.aspx
This error is often linked to the material usually RAM, but it could be driver related, so it may be useful to look at the files minidump against accidents with a debugger.
Can you zip the minidump in the C:\Windows\Minidump folder files and (provide link) available via Windows Live SkyDrive or similar site?
The following link has information about the use of Windows Live SkyDrive:
If you have problems to compress the minidump files copy the minidump files to another location such as a folder on the desktop
In addition, you do not necessarily have compress the minidump files, you can download one at a time.

If Yes, go to add/remove, Microsoft Office, and then choose change, an installation window appears and then will open the Office dialog box and you can choose to repair.
Run the repair. see if that fixes the problem.
